a Roto-Rooter has horrible technicians that stole from our house. They acknowledge the item went missing when their workers were present but did very little to apologize, rectify. They are only interested in coming in fast and leaving fast and charging your insurance company a fortune for extra unneeded work. They take advantage of a pipe break to do way more work. Without question do not use them. They leave your house a mess when they leave and have zero follow up.

I had a little problem with my house, and I got a quick response from the manager, he was super polite, respectful, heard my story and acted in a courteous and efficient way, I appreciate that you guys take the time to listen to your customers.

Service for broken water heater started out great as they came out to our house and promptly replaced water heater on a Sunday night. From there it was down hill to lack of communication on several fronts. Had another company contracted out by roto rooter come and pack up our garage and haul away to offsite warehouse without. Prior knowledge that this was actually going to happen. Fans were left in our basement longer than necessary.

I would not even give this company a one star. The only positive thing I can say is that they sent a technician the very next day. He removed the toilet and ran a camera about 100 ft and said I had a collapsed main line at the bottom of my drive way 13 feet down. I asked him how sure he was and he said I'm 100% sure. I also asked him what this kind of repair would run me and he didn't hesitate to say """"oh about $9500"""". We take cash, checks or credit card. He also mentioned they also have financing available. He offered to snake it to """"buy me some time"""" and maybe consider selling the house. I couldn't believe what I was hearing so I said no thank you. I didn't even let him put the toilet back on. At this point, I did not trust his diagnosis so I called in for a second opinion with another company. In a nut shell, it was a simple clogged main. They ran the snake and camera and found no collapsed pipe. By the way, the new technician encouraged us to watch the screen while he was running the camera to put our worries to rest. I will never ever use Rotor Rooter again!

wayne was over within 2 hours of my initial call. on a friday late afternoon! other places wouldn't even call back until monday. the fix was more money than what I wanted to spend but after talking with others, the final price was right on with other estimates. before I agreed to any work, wayne troubleshooted with me for a few minutes to see if maybe I could wait on the fix. I don't think a lot of plumbers would do that. it became apparent that there was no easy fix. he knocked a bit off the original quote, I agreed, and he was able to do the job right then. called in at 4:30pm, the job was done by 8pm. 24hrs later and so far, so good! will use again.

Not so impressed. I just wanted an estimate, which is advertised for free on their website. I called the lady was nice and friendly. They called when they were coming. The technician came to my door when I opened it I said hello and he just stood there. I invited him in and showed him the issues I was having. I explained everything, and he just looked at me blankly. When he chose his words they were simply what do you think I can do about that. I said I wasn't sure I understood the question seeing as I had just explained it. He just simply looked at me again, and said checking anything will cost you money. I said how much he said I don't know until I look. I explained that I just wanted the advertised free estimate. He said I don't know what you are talking about we don't do that. I didn't appreciate his attitude, nor did I appreciate the inaccuracy of the website stating free estimate.
