Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Do not use...period. I am a Realtor. The hot water heater was leaking at my Seller's house. I called Roto-Rooter and was told they would provide a free, no cost, estimate. When the technician came out, he said the hot water heater looked good; the valve had just not been tightened. He went to his truck and came back and tightened the valve to ensure that was the cause. I did not ask for nor authorize any service and honestly did not think there would be a charge. But low and behold, Roto-Rooter charged me $55 because their technician used a tool while on the property. They did not care that I did not ask for nor authorize the service. They are very, very dishonest and are a bunch of crooks. Free estimate is a complete lie. I wouldn't use them if they were the only plumber in a 150 mile radius. Never again!

Talk about the most unprofessional work I have ever experienced. I had a bad leak in my apartment coming from the floor above and I wanted to hire my own plumber to get the job done but they were not in contract with the lease I had. Ok cool whatever. They send these guys out to come tear apart my ceiling and behind my sink to get their job done which was no big deal. It was when they went to put it back together is when I had an issue. They came in and did a half ass job putting it together. I mean if they would of gave me the material I would of made a cleaner job of filling in the holes they cut out and i'm not even savy with this sort of thing. They left a mess of dry wall all over the floor for me to clean up. Thanks guys. If you need plumbing done call someone else, these guys just don't care.

First off let me tell you I was frantic because on top of having my kitchen pipe cogged I had guests arriving and I also had a leaking water pipe. A nice young man named Bailey showed up earlier than expected and explained everything that needed to be done. At first I was skeptical because he said he needed to go on my roof. This, at the time did not seem like a normal procedure. He explained to me the cost and showed me the price in a book he then said after he would look at the leaky pipe and tell me what it would cost. after I agreed he went straight to work up the roof he went without a care in the world. After about 20 minutes he came down and tested everything then he went and looked at my leaky pipe and came back and told me it was a simple loose connection and he tightened it and there would be no charge for that. a very good representative of this company, i'll use them again!
