I went back and forth about writing a review. I have two babies with disabilities. I had this company repair a leak, which cost me $2500. I paid it with no hesitation. Months later, I had an issue with rainwater leaking into my basement. I called another plumber and was told the area needed excavation and proper sealing. I called Emir since he did the repairs; he came and temporarily fixed the issue. The rain prevented him from fully repairing the problem. Emir said he would return to repair the work correctly once the rain stopped and everything was dry; he even took ownership of the faulty work. However, it's been two days. He said he would come but hasn't come or called. I am agitated. I understand scheduling conflicts; what I don't understand is not communicating and scheduling me accordingly so I can get this repair done. I don't do people wrong, and I don't dishonor people. I am not sure why this is happening to me and why he will not come to get this repair done so I can have a safe home for my babies. I want this issue fixed; that's it. No trouble no harm.

I called them, had an schedule for 10-2 no one showed up, got a call, said we will be there within 45 minutes, called back one and half hour later, they said we were there , no one was at the property and no one picked the call, i didn't receive any call from them or no one came in as we were there the whole time looking out, they told me the technician called the office many time saying that the technician called the office that we don't pick up the phone, I asked them so when he was calling you why didn't you call me!! They just lost me an entire day, i could have someone else looked into my problem!! Total BS

PLEASE do not use this company!!! They are full of scams! The quality of their work is poor and they over charge you! They replaced my sewer pump for $2000 and supposedly installed new parts! One of the parts failed killing the motor and they told me I had to replace it yet again! Not only that they wanted to charge me $400 for snaking my toilets to diagnose the problem.

We've used Roto-Rooter twice in the last few weeks. The first time was for a pinhole leak in a pipe and we were impressed both with the quality of the repair and the speedy work. Juan also cleaned up the area, so one would have never known we had a plumber in. A couple of weeks later, we had a leak by the meter in the front yard. Water was pouring out and running down the street when we woke in the morning. The city came out and turned the water off and Roto-Rooter said they would send someone out as soon as they could. Dan came later that afternoon, explained what was required, and started working. After an entire day with no water, it was a relief just to know that someone was here. He not only repaired the leak (which was within 2 feet of the meter and not under the slab, thank goodness), but once again, put the area back to the way it looked before. I have never seen a pipe dug up and repaired and the ground look as though it had not been touched. Both times the estimates were reasonable and there were no """"surprises"""" at the end to increase the cost. I would hope a good while passes before we need a plumber again, this is an old house and I am not too optimistic. I will feel better, however, knowing I have someone to call that we can depend on.

Basement sump pump stopped working and was flooding my basement. The good: It was a Sunday and they were out to me within hours. Tech was very nice. The bad: Tech advised that i needed a new pump. Okay. At this point he didn't indicate to me that he'd be getting a different 'class' pump. The ugly: Right after the work was completed and the pump went into use, I noticed/heard loud thumps/bangs. Extremely loud. I can hear it up to the 2nd floor of the house. I called them back out to check it out. Tech at that point told me that previous tech installed a """"better"""" pump which uses more power and that is why it was causing the louder noises. Our previous pump, made some vibrating noises but never these loud thumps. So I told him no one told me the pump type was going to be different and consequently would create this disturbance. Asked if we could switch it back to the model that wouldn't cause these thumps. I was then advised that if they did that, I would lose warranty and would need to pay for labor. What?! So I left it alone. It is now December and i swear the thumps are louder now. When my in-laws use the basement plumbing, the thumps are so loud that last night they woke up my 3yr old daughter, who is on the 2nd floor, at 2am when they used the restroom in the basement. SMH! Needless to say. Not happy.

If I could give them Zero stars I would. Every time they """"diagnose"""" a problem they just want to you eat the full cost of their ineptitude. If someone misdiagnosed a problem, I don't have an issue with that. Just make it right and fix the actual problem at no or low cost. In our case they replaced the PRV and resealed the toilet. Two days later when the exact same leak in the exact same place was apparently now something new that I was expected to pay the full amount for. They will tell you that there is a 6 month warranty on their work but that doesn't cover them not pinpointing the actual problem to begin with. The water remediation guy was supposed to send me pics and a quote to get in front of my home owner's insurance company and two days later after having to call the main switchboard to get in touch with him still no information. I would be willing to bet their response will be to blame me (as that is the attitude from their techs when in my home) but I am begging you, for your own sanity choose any other option if you need anything other than a drain snake done.

I called roto rooter to unclog a main drain pipe in our basement. Juan at Roto-Rooter was extremely polite and knowledgeable. He was able to unclog the main drain and checked the main line near the street to be sure there were no additional obstructions and water was flowing properly. We would highly recommend this company to anyone experiencing drainage issues.

So, I kept going back and forth about whether I should write a review. Ultimately, I'm going to say that I wouldn't recommend this company. You really don't know what plumber they're going to send you and if they're reliable. I scheduled an appointment initially through the website, primarily to replace my bathroom shower fixtures because the tub faucet notably protruded an inch out from the wall and required soldering to adjust for that. I get called later saying that the time that I requested wasn't standardly available (8 AM) so I had to reschedule later in the day. I only have one half day off during the week so it leaves a very narrow window for me to be there while they're doing the work before I had to rush to work. First guy they sent to help replace the showerhead and tub faucet quoted me about $400 (which included a guarantee apparently) but said they couldn't replace the valve cartridge/trim as it would have cost over $1,000. He said I should get a different trim for that portion as the trim that I purchased as part of a shower kit would not fit unless the cartridge was changed and that it would involve work outside their scope (repairing/replacing tile or putting a whole in my neighbors wall to change the valve/cartridge). So he replaces the tub faucet and it actually protrudes worse from the wall and he used the old showerhead trim to cover the gap and points to the new leaking Moen showerhead he replaced and said it was leaking due to a product defect. That absolutely did not make sense, it was leaking from every possible place there was to leak even though it was a brand new shower kit that cost $300. I realize later that he also nicked the new tub spout. They send a second guy to repair the damage the other guy caused and now the 8 AM slot is apparently available. Note, they were originally going to send the same person but I explicitly requested someone else. So the second guy repaired the leak from the shower head but agreed with the first guy that the valve trim would have to be replaced separately. He was nice enough to replace the nicked tub faucet at no additional cost. However, I have 2 problems remaining, I later realized that the brand new shower head faucet that I bought is also nicked at several points following their installation and neither plumber provided any information on recommendations for alternative valve trim replacements. I just got off the phone with Moen and it's not even a Moen valve so I don't have any clue what trim would actually be able to work as replacement, so I'm left roughly $700 out, the work looks poor, and my frustration just continues every time I look at the shower. If anyone can identify the valve/cartridge I'd be much appreciative by the way.

I made an appointment for 12-4 the guy showed up around 2:30-3 and then did not have the right tools. Had to wait till 6:30 till he collegue showed up with what he needed. The problem is so far I have been quoted two different prices. 1st I removed the toiled and and did initial clean up. They came in ran the snake and said $649.00 this did not work. Then the guy looked at me and said they have to run the camera and this will cost me another $459.00. He started saying to remove the toilet and run the snake was $575.00. So I see a monster scam of a company here. So the guy sat outside in his car but that is not my issue. This has turned into a all day event and now a very expensive. Now he told me the building has this built wrong and it will cost me $4200.00 to have it repaired. Last time I use a major company for anything, The bigger the company the bigger the scam. KC.

Very professional and honest! My wife and I recently bought a home and as soon as we got home we discovered that we had a major plumbing issue. We found out that there were routes in our main sewer line that were clogging it up which cause the water to back up into our house. After months of trying to find cheaper alternatives other than a plumber, we went ahead and went with Roto-Rooter because they have financing. You called them they came out the next day to give us an estimate and had it finished by the end of the weekend! Thank you guys for your professionalism!
