The HOA called Roto-Rooter for emergency water leak affecting 6 apartments. I'm giving two stars and not one because they answered the phone and sent someone. The Deerfield office sent Adam. Adam took the job and sent dehumidifiers the next morning but didn't have enough for all the apartments so he put what he had in the apartments with the most water. Downhill from then on. Two days later they sent a tech out with dehumidifiers for my apartment. The techs who had no knowledge of where the water was in my apartment placed the humidifiers in the same rooms that had the most water in apartments above me. So there was no humidifier in the room that needed it most in my apartment. I went to the apartment several days later and walls were still wet and you could smell the mold. I removed sections of Sheetrock which they did not do and found mold. Adam told me they don't remove Sheetrock. There was no scrubber in the apartment to clean the air so I had to wear a mask and my eyes watered. This is where it gets good. I called Adam and told him we no longer needed his service and were going with another company and he told me I couldn't because my 84 year old mother in law signed a contract. Imagine that!!! Adam got angry and nasty on the phone with me. He tried to pressure me to keep his company on the job. Honestly, picture your worst experience with a car salesman that uses pressure to sell. That's how I felt. The next day Adam called my 84 year old mother in law who lives in the apartment and tried to turn her against me and told her I was doing the wrong thing and she should keep his company on the job. She immediately called me and told me. Run away from this company!

Call any plumber BUT Roto-Rooter. They don't show up. On Thursday I took the day off to meet a plumber between 10-2... by 4:45 I called to ask what is going on and was told """"someone"""" would be out to my premises. Called back at 6:45 and was told they weren't coming but would be able to come out Friday... it's now Friday at almost 8:30 and I was told that they could re-schedule for tomorrow morning... sure! Sign me up for more wasted hours of waiting for a plumber. Their customer service sucks. This company is useless and unprofessional... they cost me $270 in lost wages waiting for a plumber that was never going to show up. They don't care. No apologies whatsoever. This is business as usual for them. Supposedly the most """"reputable"""" plumbing outfit in So Flo, however; they can't bother to show up. I guess my job was not big enough or important enough. I will make sure that I take by business elsewhere and that every one I know knows not to call this company for anything... ever. I give them zero stars.

very good job. they changed pvc pipe 18ft from mater to main pipe . i don't know normal price. they charge me $575+$4725=$5300.. he used only PVCpipe not change meter not shut off another house. I ask LABOR PRICE? They said unrelated LABOR.. so VERY careful . they said """"that Plumbing job . this is normal""""

On 2/13/21 at around 9:45 PM, i noticed a leak coming from my hot water heater. I looked for emergency plumbers on google. I called several and Roto Rooter was the first to call me back. A guy named Leon Grober came over at around 10:45 . The first thing he said to me was that he did not care if I got a hot water heater from him or not. He said sai he just wanted to bill my insurance company for some minor water damage in the bedroom next to the hot water heater. At around 11:30, 2 other guys came over. One was a guy named Michael. They brought over about 7 fans and a dehumidifier. I told them that I knew the carpet could be salvaged and not to get rid of it, I knew this because I had a much more severe flood 11 months earlier and the carpet was saved. About 30 minutes later I looked in the room and saw that they already cut up the carpet. Michael said the other guy did it. I then told them NOT to get rid of the baseboards. They left at about 1:30 AM. When I awoke the next day. I checked the room and saw water on the floor. I also noticed that 3 out of 7 fans were not even plugged in. I also saw that they had placed the fans vertical instead of horizontal. I knew that from the last flood. I called Leon and he said they would return in a few hours. I waited all day but they never came back. On Monday 2/15/21 at around 9:00AM, Michael called and said they would come over but they never came. When I asked him why the fans were not on or positioned correctly, he blamed the other guy and said he was in training and did not know what to do. I had my condo maintenece guy come over with a moisture meter and he said it was dry. I called Leon at 11:30AM and said to come pick up the fans. I said that I would pay him for 2 hours of labor even though they did a horrible job and for 36 hours for the use of the fans. He said he wanted $3000. I knew that price was crazy because I paid about $1200 for another much more severe flood 11 months ealier. At that time, there were 2 men here ofr about 12 hours over 2 days and the fans were here for 5 days. They finally came to pick up the equipment the next day,\. When a guy named Darius came to pick up. I asked him to move back the furnitue and he said he could not do it alone and would return with another guy in a few hours, They never came back. Leon said he would put a Lein on my home and i receved a letter about that. I had to spend $900 for new carpet and $300 for new baseboards. When trying to speak to these guys, all they say is LEIN.

I would have given them 0 stars, if possible. So far, they have come to our house twice for a clogged line...I sent a certified letter, which they refuse to accept. The servicemen make a joke out of previously seen clients stupidity. I spent $611.00 to unclog a line and the problem is even worse now.

Beware the bait and switch from this company. When they tell you they are giving you a discount, don't believe it, it's all apparently a shell game to them once they have your credit card information. Trying to get a call back from anyone, from the person who wrote up the discounted quote to the general manager, is an exercise in futility. Take your business and your hard earned money to a company with higher ethical standards than this operation.

I would suggest that you avoid this company at all costs. I called for a water heater replacement estimate and, in order to increase the costs, they sent a restoration project coordinator to my home first. Wanted to expand the job well beyond what was necessary or requested for the apparent purpose of increasing the costs and assured me that the costs would be paid by my insurance company. I certainly would never do business with a company with such low business ethical standards.

They unclogged the line surrounded our house and let us know that the problem was due to ATT fiber optic technician. Recommended us to apply for a loan with Synchrony Bank despite of we paid $569 to initiate the job. The total amount paid was $3,575.00. The pictures and videos which supposedly may show that ATT was responsible, weren't received yet. The job was done and paid on 11/16/2020. Today is 1/17/2021. I called Ronaldo, the Supervisor, asking for the pictures and videos, his answer was that I should use the pictures taken for my husband, who is 67 years old, a retiree man with no relationship with Roto-Rooter, because the evidence wasn't clear. As we paid more than $3500 for a job, we expected to receive the photos and videos taken for the plumbers, not for the owner of the house. Another thing is the statement that they couldn't find the opening to enter the """"snake"""" and for this reason they had to open around the house. Of course, a more expensive job. Coincidentally, the opening was by the garage and they found it when almost the job were done. I sent an email to the Supervisor and he never answered. I think I was very generous with the two stars.

We had a blockage in our septic pipe for our guest bathroom of our 2nd story condo. Demetrios Stavrianopoulos (Demetri) came and walking us through all of the options. He came up with a great plan and was able to unblock the pipe. He was outstanding and the solution saved us a lot of money. Thanks, Demetri!!
