When I mentioned I had the part, because the manufacturer had previously sent part to me to keep on hand, the overnight dispatcher Darren, then said """"Well we're not sending anyone til morning"""" .. There was no care and concern that I'm Nine months PREGNANT, and the water wouldn't turn off (Thankfully, I happen to know where my shut off valve for house is located) and now have to dress in morning with no water to do proper hygienic activities. They didn't care that I had continuous running water when the plumbing issue occured , and didn't bother to even suggest turning off the main valve in the meantime. I called back to speak to someone else, and Susan showed even less concern when I expressed I had to leave house early, couldn't do proper hygiene routine and that I already struggled to bend down to turn off the main water valve, so turning it on and off to get ready is not a risk I'm willing to take with my baby. Terrible, terrible customer service!!!

I had a small leak underneath my kitchen sink. Called Roto-Rooter and received great customer service over the phone, and then superb service from Thomas, friendly and very professional. Fixed my leak , good as new!! Thank you Thomas!!

I called Roto-Rooter for a backed up septic tank problem at about 11 a.m. on Wednesday. They said someone would be out between 12:30 and 2:30. Around 2 p.m. they called and said they were running late. Then they called about 3:20 to say they were still running late. When I didn't hear from them by 4:30 I called and they tried to tell me someone had already been out to my house. I assured them that if they had been there they hadn't called me or knocked on the door because I had been waiting for them all day. They then said that snaking the line wasn't going to fix the problem and that the tank needed to be pumped out. (How they knew this is still a mystery.) They said someone would be out on Thursday between 12-4 to do that. When I hadn't heard from them all day, around 3:30 I called back to ask for the status. That's when they told me they didn't have any record of my request for service! I was livid! How is it possible to drop the ball that many times for one client's service request? I will never use them again - not even if they are the last plumbing service on the planet. Luckily I found A-Alligator Septic Tank Cleaning Service - a local family owned business and they came within 45 minutes and took care of the problem in under an hour! Roto-Rooter, you don't know the meaning of customer service.

I am having a hot water heater issue and called for their """"free"""" estimate. The service agent felt the temperature of the water, did something else, and then looked at us and said it would be $245 to test the unit. Buyer beware! They are a rip-off! The testing fee is outrageous and their estimate for a new unit was extremely high compared to the other quotes.

First, I am not sure which Roto-Rooter office sent a technician and it may not have been the Hollywood office, but it was a 954 area code number that responded. I asked for a drain clean out as my tenant admitted to flushing tampons. The house is old and the clean out vent is on the roof of the house. The technician said it was against company policy to go on a roof and that he was sure it was the septic tank that needed to be pumped. """"I know a guy who can help you."""" Of course the gentleman I called immediately told me that I might need a new septic tank and drain field (thousands of dollars) Fortunately my brother who was a master plumber told me it was a clog. Next day I had A Alligator snake the drain and out came two tampons. The toilet worked perfectly after that. Always trust a local business.

Rip Off Artists !!!!!!.......wanted $1000 to replace a water heater......now granted it WAS saturday....but STILL!!!......had it done for HALF the price by getting our own heater from home depot and having an individual plumber put it in......Just another example of how corrupt Corporate America is ............it's all about GREED

We had a plumber come to our newly purchased house five times to fix our guest shower and toilet that kept backing up before finally calling Roto Rooter. I really wish we had called them sooner because we really had no idea how big the problem was. I was initially hesitant because all you ever hear is how expensive they are but from this experience I've learned they are well worth the money and rely know what they are doing. The prior plumber had pulled out a rag and part of a mom when he snaked the pipes from our roof so I knew something had to be down there. Coincidentally we saw some guys from Roto Rooter at the house across the street and stopped to explain our problem to them. They told us we should have a camera tech send a camera up the pipes and then depending on the situation send a jet up there to clean it out. The only complaint I have about roto rooter is that when I initially made an appointment they told me 3pm and that the tech would call me at 2:30 to let me know if he was on time. Well 2:30 came and went and at 3 I called to find out what was going on only to be informed I actually had a window from 2:30-4:30 so I cancelled and rescheduled for the following day. They called me at 1:45 and said the tech would be there in 45 minutes so I rushed home. A tech didn't arrive until after 5:30 but I guess everything happens for a reason because luckily this tech was able to put the camera up the pipes and fix the whole problem which was much more serious than we ever could have imagined. Turns out since our house was a flop and the pipes hadn't been used in a while a serious amount of calcification and buildup had accumulated which was obstructing our pipe on top of some caulking and more mop pieces. The tech whose name was Alexander Perez stayed at our house until 11:30 last night. He let me watch the whole process by putting the camera back up the pipes multiple times as he went so I could see what he was doing was actually fixing the problem. It wasn't cheap but it could have been worse and the problem is finally fixed and we have two functioning toilets and showers. With five kids we could not be more thankful to Alex and Roto Rooter. I wish we had called them from the get-go.

Everything went very welll. Audley was very professional and really made sure my wife and I understood what I as happening with the toilet and really did a great job is snaking the tub stoppage thru overflow. I am very satisfied with the work that he did.

Plumbing problems are never a good thing but I'm happy to have chosen Roto-Rooter. They've been in biz for as long as I can remember and they have very good ratings on google . I noticed not so high reviews on yelp so I'm here to say my problem was resolved and it didn't break the bank. Plumbing is never cheap so expect $100's. Very happy with the response time, customer service, knowledge and politeness of the 2 employees I dealt with today from the moment I called until the job was complete. Called in around 10am to report a problem. Customer service was very pleasant with a great attitude. She said response time would be 2 hours for our zip code. Our plumber called within 45 minutes. She would be there in 20 minutes. She arrived with covers on her shoes to protect our floors and began discovering our issue and went right to work. It was fixed in about a 1/2 an hour and we were good to go. Pun intended! Lol

Horrible Service. I had an appointment setup yesterday between 12-4pm and then My wife got a call at 3pm saying that they were dealing with another matter and couldn't see us till 6-8pm. We then get a text at 6pm saying they are on their way. 7pm rolls around and still nothing so we call and they tell us they are coming from far which seems that it the generic BS line they use. Guy gets here at 7:30pm and he is a nice guy and tells us we need a new faucet. By that time we are running against the clock and we can't do it that day because we have a baby and can't exactly go pick out a faucet on the fly. Guy quotes is $218 for Faucet installation which we think is kinda high, but it is time sensitive and we need it done by no later than tomorrow. The guy is nice and books a morning appointment for us and we go buy the faucet after we secure a sitter. Roto rooter calls and wakes us up at 730am and tells us the plumber will be here in 45 minutes. Almost two hours go by before he gets here. We call to get status after an hour and a half and they told us they were coming from far (same BS). Guy gets here and tells us the same installation that was quoted at $218 and is now $303. He tells us the previous technician is new and quoted the wrong price when they both look from a book and i saw both prices. We tell them this is bait and switch and they are just taking advantage because we need this done within a few hours for a Birthday party. He says he can't do it for the initial price and goes outside to speak to the company. I immediately call another plumber and get a quote for $150 and they will be here in an hour. Don't use these guys! Would give 0 stars if possible.
