Recommended Customer Reviews
We had been having a problem with water backing up in our kitchen sink. As soon as we called Roto-Rooter they dispatched a technician to our house and they were there within an hour. The two servicemen that came were friendly, knowledgeable and quick to resolve the problem. They even gave us a six-month warranty. Excellent service!
Dave did a fantastic job fixing a pin-hole leak we had behind our shower tile. He arrived right on schedule & called us on the way. It was a tough job that was worth the investment. Thanks Dave!
Like most of all the other reviews, they were late. I don't blame the technician - he was great and did the work quickly and efficiently. Either Roto-Rooter is overbooking or else they aren't allotting enough time for service calls. I also experienced scheduling service only for it to be rescheduled for the next day because they were too busy and then that appointment was late. If they are too busy for my business, maybe it's time to find someone else that DOES take their commitments seriously.
Lisa H.The worst service ever. Never on time. Unprofessional and lazy workers. Never call them again. Call someone else a real plumber
Amber S.The technician was professional and knowledgable. He did a great job and fixed the problem. The only issue I had was with scheduling. The timeframe their dispatcher gave me was between 12pm and 4pm. They called me at 3pm to tell me the technician would still be 2-3 hours yet. The technician did not arrive until 7:30pm.
Evan G.I had a drain snaked and a ($40) shower valve replaced for $554. The technician damaged my wall on the way out. Over charged every step of the way. I should have researched ahead of time. Competitor price for snaking the drain $100 and valve replacement with parts and labor $100 for $200 combined. Nothing like paying 2 1/2 times of what everyone else charges. Same review left at the better business bureau.
Ronnie A.My house flooded and I called RotoRooter. I need dehumidifiers in my house immediately. I was told that they would be her between 2-4. When the guy Raphael called me he said that he will be at my house before 2pm. 2:30 rolled around and Im still panicking and called to see where he was. I had his cell phone number since he called me and in went straight to voice mail. I called 3 more tiles till 4pm without every hearing back from him. I called the direct line again and asked what was going on and I was told that they had some new technicians and that they where going to get a hold of them. I never got a return call. I then went to Home depot and had to rent three. On my way back I received a call and I told them that I had to act fact and went and rented my own. Second part: I was also waiting for another person to come out and fix the pipe. They said its a different division. So He was to also be at my house by 4pm. And never showed. I had to call another number to talk to a different disbator. I let him know that I needed to be somewhere by 6:00 and needed to leave by 5:30 and where is this plumber at? He checked his schedule and told me that he was unable to get someone out to me by 5:30. I asked him if they were awar of this than why didn't I receive a call to let me know. His comment """"That would be my fault"""". I rescheduled for first thing in the morning with a window from 8-12:00. I asked for him to narrow it down. But that was the best that he could do. I asked him to please call me if they are not going to be able to make it. I questioned if this would happen since they didn't call me and let me know this time. They did show up in the morning and fixed the pipe and it was at 8:30am
Bill C.Wow.....20min and speaking to four different people to find out how much to replace a standard 4"""" bathroom vanity faucet....are you sitting down? $179.00 1st hour and $90.00 each additional hour. They think would take two hours...oh that's not including the part...really? I informed them I just fired the other plumber for charging $380.00 for repair of moen $495.00 for a replacement. Oh I was quite clear I manage 100 + properties....they are doing so well with their overcharging that they don't need my business.
Roto Rooter was scammed by a squatter so they liened my property. I relocated in 2012 but still own property in Orlando. Around 12/07/14 I was notified by the board of directors that someone unknown to me had moved into my condo a few days earlier. Around 12/07 I traveled to Orlando and with the help of OCSO reclaimed and secured my unit. Around 1/16/15 I received several copies of documents with no accompanying cover letter. Documents were: a copy of a computer generated invoice for 1200.00, a copy of a letter to their customer re: a worthless check, a form letter referencing the Construction Lien Law, a form letter warning that failure to pay could result in a lien and my paying twice, a copy of the worthless check. I immediately called their office and spoke with Daniel Burgos who identified himself as office manager. Mr Burgos took offense and hung up on me when I advised that I'd be checking with my lawyer about his company's performing work without contacting me for approval. I then sent an email to Karen Pagan advising her of the situation and gave her my contact information. Ms. Pagan did not respond to that email. Around 1/26 I received from Ms. Pagan, a copy of a Claim of Lien. I again emailed Ms. Pagan requesting that she send me a copy of the original work order showing the customer's signature, a copy of the perpetrator's state issued ID and the status of the case filed with the State Attorney's office. Ms. Pagan then sent a work order that showed a different date than the invoice she originally sent. She stated that she only had the person's ID number but no pic. She refused to respond to the inquiry about whether they were pursuing with the State Attorney. The check was stamped """"return to maker"""" not """"nsf"""" because the tech accepted an improperly filled out document. Since Roto Rooter failed to contract with the owner on record and accepted an improperly filled out document I feel that I am in no way responsible and that they contributed to their own loss. I have been a business owner for many years and whenever I screw up I accept responsibility and assume any losses that may occur as a result. These rude, crass, unethical people have left a bitter taste in my mouth and a bad feeling about the entire Roto Rooter operation.
Courteous answering service. Set up an appt. 1-3pm had not shown up by 3:30pm so we had to call them, and they said it would be here by 5pm. Never showed. No calls. We had to call them AGAIN. They said they were backed up and it would be several hours before they could show up. We have waited all day at this point, with no follow up calls from them. Finally called them back to cancel the appt. they did not try to fix the problem or help us out at all when we cancelled. They seem like they couldn't care less. Now we have to find someone else on a weekend, Because they are so inconsiderate and do not follow up with calls when they can't make it or are going to be late.
