very expensive...they came out twice the first week because the first guy did a crappy job...it has been 10 months later and our system it's backed up again....won't use rotor rooter again not worth $750...shouldn't be having issues already!

When the technician arrived to repair a broken reclaimed water line at our Ocoee, FL Westyn Bay home, he quoted $285 to start. That sounded high, however, with water continuing to go everywhere, and someone there to fix it immediately, I went for it. Sadly what started out at what I thought was too much - ended up costing in the stratosphere - $990 - to fix a broken reclaimed water pipe!!!. Not only that, the technician had to go back and forth to Home Depot and Lowes for parts. He said he wasn't going to charge me for those trips. Really??? The technician seemed to be baffled on how to repair a reclaimed water line, which appeared to be similar to PVC. I should have called a sprinkler repair company, probably could have had it done for under $200. Bottom line, I'm not confident that the repair will hold even though the tech emphasized a few times that the repair has a one year warranty. That emphasis alone was cause for concern. I'm just blown away at how badly I was taken for. It's a good thing I am a person of means. If I were elderly on a fixed income, this kind of expense would be devastating. I will never use RotoRooter again and I will tell people to run as fast as they can from this company. Unbelievably disappointed in cost and what seemed like incompetence.

I would give zero but not an option. I have a active slab leak so I called rotor rooter. They sent a leak tech out he """"found"""" the leak and a while later another tech came out and dug a hole in my bathroom floor and nope no leak. The next day another leak detector guy came out and marked another spot the guy came out dug another hole and no leak the next day they brought in a third party from another plumbing company and he marked a third area. Then they decided well you should re-pipe. Okay I spent $499 for the leak detection and then $2600 for them to """"fix it"""" then they said well the re-pipe will be another $1500 WHAT ARE YOU KIDDING ME. They got it down to an additional $500 and then the guy said ok they will be here at 7am (on day 4 mind you of no water) well that guy never showed up so made the phone call and they said well before he can start you need to have a asbestos test done. Well no body ever called to tell us that. They are a shady company and the guys in the trucks throw random numbers at you thinking you will jump. Well not this house. After several phone calls for a few hours I did receive a full refund for services not rendered. And now I have a huge mess in my bath room I have to repair

Stay away from this business all the way. I made the mistake of hiring their services to unclog my kitchen drain, and they charged me $397.00 for this job. Totally my fault for not to look other estimates, but the necessity to get the drain unclog, made me move with their service. I later find out (you can google the prices) that this is a job in the $150 .00 to $250.00 price range. When I inquired about this, their answer was that they are not a mom and pop plumbers, that they are a corporate. They offered $75.00 dollars discount which I also noticed it was the special running at that week, but never mentioned to me before hand. Still $322.00 to unclog a drain is overpriced. DO NOT go with them, instated, do some research first. I'll post this review in all other sites so hopefully more ppl is aware.

They wanted $375 for a drain to be cleaned that I got cleaned for $69 Guy said he was too fat to go under house for clean out so it was gonna cost me? I asked him to leave & was glad to pay the $ to get rid of him. DO NOT HIRE.

Very poor experience. Called 2 weeks ago for backed up toilet. I was 38 weeks pregnant and just wanted my toilet fixed. Technician was very nice, said pipe was clogged, snaked it, charged me $475 and left. I was more worried about the fix than the money. I would not be complaining about the $450 if my issue was solved. However, two weeks later, 1 day old baby in hand, I go slipping down the same hallway. My exact same clog issue is back! Water is everywhere. I call them back. New technician comes out. Says there is no clog, I need two new sump pumps for $3k. Called a septic company to look at pumps, all are working just fine, no sump pump replacement needed. He showed me all working pumps. Called Roto back to look at the same drain they said they snaked. Technician says he can snake it again for another $550. Same drain, two weeks later. This is the kind of service you can expect from Roto. So now I get to have a newborn with a nice leak until I can get a reliable plumber out here to repair. Considering legal action for the original payment but it's less about the money and more about the fact that I thought I was working with an honest business that would be able to fix a simple clog. I request avoiding this company

CONSUMER BEWARE!!! Run from Roto Rooter, this company tried to fraud me because I am an out of state landlord. I called and scheduled an appointment due to the bathroom at a rental property not functioning properly. One tech went out and addressed the issue, he then called his manager to come out and that is where the trickery started. Steven Santiago advised that he would send me a video that I never received of the clogged septic lane, the work was performed for a whopping $2901.00. He then contacted my tenants the following day under the guise that he did not have my phone number. The main office and the original tech had my number so not sure why Steven did not have it other than to try and scam me. Steven proceeded to tell my tenants that he discovered a broken pipe, he then proceeded to call me and tell me the exact same thing and that it would cost me $4700, to make the repair and that my tenants were having to go to the bathroom at the local gas station that same day because they were still having problems. One of my tenants alerted me via text that everything was working fine which gave me pause. I told Steven, I needed to contact my trusted contractor to look at the situation and that I was not paying the $4700. He called me back 5 minutes later and advised that he called his Manager and the price was reduced to $2500, I said no. My trusted contractor made a visit the following day and said there was no broken pipe and everything looked fine. Additionally, my tenant who Steven contacted said she and her roommates did not go to the gas station to use the bathroom on the date Steven indicated, so he flat out lied and tried to trick me into paying him $4700. I called Rotor Rooter Manager, Michael, McCulsky and left a message to report this issue, he never responded to 3 messages. Additionally, I left three messages for the GM, Randy Mills and he never responded to my call. This behavior is plain criminal and I will never use this service again and advise anyone out there to NEVER trust Roto Rooter, they are thieves and pray on customers. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Larry (3359) augured out my main drain on and fixed the problem in 30 minutes. He was nice and professional however I wish I had inquired about cost first. I had scheduled the visit so it was not an emergency. I should have spent more time researching. Hopefully this will help someone else. I paid $315 (with a $60 off coupon) which as I have learned... is CRAZY!

Few weeks ago, I called to have a technician come and fix our toilet as it was clogged and water didn't go through well at all. The technician came, looked for a sec and brought the snake to clear it. Charged $145 for a few min work and left. Few days after I called again and said the problem was not solved and they sent a technician again. He looked and said there is nothing to do and the only thing is to replace the toilet, which cost a lot. I was very upset from that and few weeks after, on Feb 17th, I called another plumbing company and when technician came, it only took him few min to understand what is the problem, which was the hole in the bottom of the sink, where the jets are, were clogged by a plastic object. The plumber was amazed by how they didn't see it and charged me for nothing. He said they should have refunded me for their misdiagnosed. This is the second time I have such a bad experience with them and will consider taking it to small claims to get our money back. Very disappointing!!!!! Still going on issue. I was promised to get a refund but nothing, so I'm starting a small claim with my attorney and will take it to court for all the troubles they have caused me. Do not use roto rooter ever, or you'll get screwed for your money

DO NOT USE! They came over to my home for a leak in my copper pipe. Estimate was for 1,200.00. Then the water restoration division of the company came over and said if I use them for the water restoration they will drop the plumbing cost to 800.00. I had already sent the estimate into my insurance company for 1,200.00 plumbing cost. Roto-Rooter said not to mention the reduction in the plumbing cost as I could pocket the rest of the money. My insurance adjuster needed the breakdown of the exact cost of the plumbing. When I called Roto-Rooter back and told them what was needed, they said they would have Ricardo send it to me in an e-mail. I ASKED FOR THIS INFORMATION 4 TIMES! NEVER RECEIVED AN UPDATED INVOICE. THEY ARE CROOKS!
