I had a horrible problem with my drainage, and booked an appointment with Roto Rooter online. Someone contacted me by phone and was able to dispatch a technician to my home within minutes in the Cutler Bay Area. The service man, Roberto was very professional, helpful and solved the problem. I was also able to use my internet discount coupon to pay for services.

So I can't write as to the outcome because I haven't had my low water pressure problem fixed yet..BUT the service with the free assessment has been just OUTSTANDING. I made the appointment online for the following day and the window was 2-4pm. I got a phone call at 2:30pm telling me the plumber was on his way and at 2:35pm the plumber arrived, Pedro. I told him our problem and showed him the sinks/showers and he checked EVERYTHING (every valve inside and all throughout outside the house). He had a few theories as to what could be causing the issues (old water pump outside, faulty installation of hot water heater (completed by unlicensed economical handyman), clog in a separate sink etc). He called a """"master plumber"""" to trouble shoot some of the things he saw and they both decided the master plumber to deal with quoting the removal of the old water pump as that was the likely culprit to the low water pressure problem. After he left, the plumber called me back to go over everything he told the master plumber regarding his assessment and to confirm that he would arrive the following day after his 7:00 appointment. I thought the whole experience was handled very efficiently. Pedro was punctual, educational with all aspects of his assessment, and I found the handoff to the master plumber for the more complex job very professional.

Finding a contractor for any project is a risk. I was recommended by my daughter to use a company that is established and reputable. She preferred to pay for the level of service, warranty, and integrity that Roto-Rooter has offered her. For one of the few times, I did take her recommendations, have been extremely pleased with the results. My water bill had steadily increased in the pass few months from an average of $50 to over $250. There was no obvious leaks anywhere in the house. We are very hygienic, my wife and I, but not in the shower constantly to generate such a bill. After calling Roto-Rotter, the technician found the leak under my floor between two bathrooms. I was so concern with the time required to break the floor and repairs, not to mention the cost on a fixed income and no insurance. The tech provided reassurances that alternatives can be made in re-routing the water line and minimal invasive cuts would be done to the walls. The following day two gentlemen arrived, reviewed the area, made relatively small holes in the walls, replaced the water lines and completed the job within 4-5 hours. Thank you Vincent & Martha Morales.

Great service. I had to wait awhile to get someone, but they called me every hour to update me on where our technician was. I didn't have an emergency anyway, so no big deal. The guy who did my service, Marlon, #245, was really nice and left the area really clean after his work. The price was what I expected to pay.

Second time I had to wait forever to get a plumber out to my house - both times were emergencies. They just seem to schedule jobs as THEY think is of importance. If you have an emergency - trust me, don't use them. Rather phone some other local company. They just can't seem to manage to get to a house... Also, if you miss their call from the dispatch office, they just go and CANCEL the appointment you made! Audacity! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Terrible terrible terrible. Had a toilet replaced about 2 years ago by this company. The flange was broken and charged $400+ to REPAIR it +260 to snake my shower. Unprepared. Went to home depot and bought incorrect fasteners. Installed toilet and did no bother to shim, then grouted completely around the toilet. Solid yes. Stupid yes. 2 years later tiles on the wall began to get moldy and disgusting. Turns out the toilet repair was bad from the start. Water went under the tile to the wall. He use so much grout on the toilet base, the water just filtered under the tile. My dad and I found that his flange repair was completely shoddy and uncentered over the flange. The toilet never rocked to damage the wax ring. It Was clearly the improperly installed flange repair ring. We replaced the flange and toilet ourselves in half the time. Wall is damaged due to dirty water leaking under tile. We will never ever call this company again and steer everyone we know clear from getting ripped off. Also he left the shower drain plate bent up like a lid of a tuna can. My house was a complete mess. Toilet water all over the floor all the way to the entrance after he left. Imbecile.

Beware!!! Roto Rooter is out to STEAL your $$$$ Have roots in our main line. They came unprepared, so another technician had to return hours later, meanwhile my entire house is backed up. Technicians did not do a proper job and house was once again backed up days later. Kept telling us that they work on the side and can give us a better deal than the company they work for (unprofessional) and that we had to dig up our entire yard to replace a pipe and remove roots. Days later another Roto Rooter technician quoted us double the standard price for hydro-jet cleaning and still did not have the machine on him. Called another plumber (who by the way, gave me a price over the phone when Roto Rooter would not) got the job done for 1/2 the price and did not have to spend thousands of $$$$. They have no shame!!! Please DO NOT use them....I would give 0 stars if I could.

Called me at 8am to tell me the plumber would arrive in 20-30 minutes. GREAT! Not so, he doesn't show up till 9:58 (literally I was leaving). Plumber is polite but doesn't really help very much. Wanted to charge $175 to open a hole in the roof to see what was going on with the pipe. Once he understood the issue it would be a separate charge. No thanks! Called a local guy he found out it was a roof leak not a pipe! Plumber didn't charge to cut open the wall only $40 to put it back together. I suggest to price around and if you decide roto-rooter don't believe the 2 hour time frame.
