they are big time scammers!!! please read all bad reviwes first on google and other platforms, because this bad reviews are very accurate. they take advantage of older people or people who doesn't speak english and triple the prices on top of that they do bad jobs!!!

My elderly parents called me last Saturday afternoon in a panic because neither the toilet nor the shower drain in the master bedroom were functioning properly. Although it is usually difficult to get a plumber out to someone's house on a weekend, I called Roto-Rooter and they told me that they could have someone out within two hours. Luis (#675) showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the problem as a clog in the main line between the house and the sewer. He spent a couple of hours snaking the line from both the front and backyard before being able to clear it. He was the consummate professional at all times, even though he was working outside in the sweltering heat. Luis even provided his cell phone number to call in the event that my parents had any further difficulties over the weekend (which they didn't). The only reason that this is a four-star rather than a five-star review is because Roto-Rooter isn't necessarily the cheapest firm around. In fact, far from it. However, if you have a plumbing problem that you need resolved immediately, you don't necessarily care what the cost is. I know that my parents wanted their bathroom back in working order as quickly as possible. Roto-Rooter is definitely the firm to call if you're looking for a quick response and a job well done. Especially if Luis is your plumber.

NO SHOW. contracted them, got approval from our building and spoke to their dispatcher. Then they never showed up or answered any calls or emails. Please save your time and money.

Worst experience. I've been waiting 2 days now for a plumber to come to my home and still no one has a arrive. I booked on a Tuesday for service on a Thursday. Its 9pm on a Friday and still nobody. Wheres the timely and pleasant service. I've filed a complaint and no one has reached out. This service has been the worst. Raise my blood pressure by being frustrated and continuously going back and forth with the miscommunications and contacting customer for ETA. I will not recommend or refer Roto rooter again.

scheduled an appointment for a drain clog. the day of one of their technicians cancelled (citing nonexistent reasons) then another technician was rescheduled by some woman in atlanta. she was extremely rude and the second technician never showed up. this resulted in a 3rd call from a different atlanta woman who then tried telling me another technician would be on the way soon. i then told her to cancel which resulted in her very rude attitude despite me being the person inconvenienced the entire day. horrible business - all employees should be ashamed

I call at 9am for my water heater problem! They told me that they will send someone in an hour! Story short he got here at 1pm! They guy didn't even take his tools with him to diagnose my water heater! He looked at it and said , that it was to much work for him to fix it , without even diagnosing the water heater! The lazy technician told me that he won't fix it and just walked out of my apartment! Never seen anything like this , but than again is Miami!

I wish there was negative stars I could give. Worst plumbing company I have dealt with. Honestly to snake a main line $500 your kidding me every other plumber I have called no where near that price. Every agent you speaks to tells you something else. And the techs that come out honestly don't t give a damm weather they do the job or not. But hey if you want to be price gouged to hell go with them. But hey with a big company why would they care.

Called Roto Rooter on a Sunday came promptly the whole process was very professional. Joe not only did the job but went beyond. I finally found a professional and competent pluming co.

We are SHOCKED by this company. Their prices, their work ethic and their management response. They are a SCAM! We called them because our toilet was clogged. Their plumber Hector arrived 3 hours late. Said he can not resolve the issue. Charged us $745, told us not to use the toilet and left. Next day he showed up with 3 more people who told us that repair will cost over $6000 (what?????) and we need to open up our downstairs neighbor ceiling. Charged us another $695 and left. So we called another company. Took one plumber two hours to completely fix our issue. The price was $400. $400 versus crazy $7000+ plus dry wall repair proposed by RotoRooter. Now this did not end there. It took me 3 days to get their manager on the phone. His name is Franc Marrero. He did not listen to anything, was not trying to remedy the situation in any way. He SCREAMED at me and hung up the phone. Unless you have hours and thousands of dollar to waste - DONT CALL ROTO ROOTER

Roto rooter performed a repair for me last week. The tech scammed my father in law. He charged him twice, one charge for his other company and one charge by roto rooter. He scammed my father in law and when I asked management , Michael Hoffman, he says I have to go after him myself nothing he can do. Terrible professionalism and customer service. I've been waiting for a call from his general manager Michael story for 4 days. I've left messages and spoken to secretaries. The tech used a credit card machine to charge his other company. Seems like this is common practice due to the lack of urgency to resolve this matter. No call backs. No emails. This point only option is legal action . Can't believe a company that's been around for 100 years can treat customers like this. No solution. Scam artists. Michael story is supposed to be general manager in my area, gave him 4 days and still no answer. Ridiculous.
