We had a technician come to our unit, who created a huge issue with the piping and the building. What was supposed to be a routine leak fix turned into a potential $800 job for nothing (they originally wanted $1,100, and we ended up going with a different company). Previously they charged me $700 to unclog 2 drains (although, that technician was a very fine gentleman). Be careful when working with this company. Never again for me.

We are SHOCKED by this company. Their prices, their work ethic and their management response. They are a SCAM! We called them because our toilet was clogged. Their plumber Hector arrived 3 hours late. Said he can not resolve the issue. Charged us $745, told us not to use the toilet and left. Next day he showed up with 3 more people who told us that repair will cost over $6000 (what?????) and we need to open up our downstairs neighbor ceiling. Charged us another $695 and left. So we called another company. Took one plumber two hours to completely fix our issue. The price was $400. $400 versus crazy $7000+ plus dry wall repair proposed by RotoRooter. Now this did not end there. It took me 3 days to get their manager on the phone. His name is Franc Marrero. He did not listen to anything, was not trying to remedy the situation in any way. He SCREAMED at me and hung up the phone. Unless you have hours and thousands of dollar to waste - DONT CALL ROTO ROOTER

Insanely expensive. Don't quote on the phone, you have to wait for a technician to come out and shock you. $425 to clear clogged kitchen sink. Call elsewhere.

Plumbing tech Luis #675, was on time, explained the repair process and replaced my exterior yard faucet with a more efficient connection and model. This required cutting and welding and yet he was done in less than 20 minutes! Plus I paid $40 less than a previous identical repair with another company. I have other plumbing projects that I'm going to run by Roto Rooter.

The worst, please save your time and get professional quick fix somewhere else. I stayed home for 2 days waiting for them, they said next day after I call them, so I waited whole day home, at 5:00pm they called me to say no one is available, they told me tomorrow you will be first on the list, I was like okay so next day they called me at 9:00am to say that I'm first on the line, so the whole day waiting until 4:00pm they are calling me to say that the plumber is not comfortable to leave her car keys with valley, I'm not sure what they are expecting me to do. 2 days waiting for nothing.

Great customer service but bad follow up. They do not keep their word. Paid for service but there's no solution they said they'll come the next day to investigate the problem the next day they came and told me someone else will be coming someone else never came. Still waiting

Waited all day for someone to show up. I tried cancelling and they called me back with """"the driver just finished lunch and he's on his way"""". An hour later (at 4) he shows up and says """"I'll be back in 20 minutes"""". 45 minutes later and nothing. Won't ever use this company. She should be ashamed. Get better employees.

My elderly parents called me last Saturday afternoon in a panic because neither the toilet nor the shower drain in the master bedroom were functioning properly. Although it is usually difficult to get a plumber out to someone's house on a weekend, I called Roto-Rooter and they told me that they could have someone out within two hours. Luis (#675) showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the problem as a clog in the main line between the house and the sewer. He spent a couple of hours snaking the line from both the front and backyard before being able to clear it. He was the consummate professional at all times, even though he was working outside in the sweltering heat. Luis even provided his cell phone number to call in the event that my parents had any further difficulties over the weekend (which they didn't). The only reason that this is a four-star rather than a five-star review is because Roto-Rooter isn't necessarily the cheapest firm around. In fact, far from it. However, if you have a plumbing problem that you need resolved immediately, you don't necessarily care what the cost is. I know that my parents wanted their bathroom back in working order as quickly as possible. Roto-Rooter is definitely the firm to call if you're looking for a quick response and a job well done. Especially if Luis is your plumber.

If you want to wait hours for a technician and pay $562 for a snake, call roto! Today I'm having to call them back again because there is water leaking from toilet the day after they serviced it. Again, I was told the wrong wait time and am still waiting hours later..... Trust me, save your time and money and find someone else.
