My mom is 77 years old. They came and said they cleaned a drain, charged 1000.00 and then said it would be 17500.00 (seventeen thousand five hundred dollars) to dig the kitchen floor and replace the sewer lines they said COMPLETELY COLLAPSED! I called two OTHER plumbers and they said they couldn't have seen the ""COLLAPSED LINE"" because the used pipes that had ZERO ACCESS to the sewer line! To top this off- the problem wasn't the sewer line. The main well line had a leak! They would have taken 17500.00 and ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING! This scam is being propagated by ROTO ROOTER all over the country! My name is listed here. ANYONE CAN CONTACT me. These guys didn't give their names, and to my mother, it felt like financial rape! It was unsettling and extremely hard to believe. We live in Salem County and have NEVER EVER SEEN GREED LIKE THIS!

Make them show you their camera working PRIOR TO GOING INTO A PIPE! Watch EVERYTHING THEY DO CAREFULLY! They scam the elderly so you better believe they'll scam ANYONE!

Absolutely the worst. First call, they were two hours late. Then, they made a mistake which made the problem much worse. Rather than jump right in and address the emergency they created tried to justify it. When confronted, the tech got upset and just left. Terrible customer service.

I had a clogged drain out to my septic tank with water backing into the house. I called my septic company that came out and tried to unclog it when they pumped the tank, but couldn't. It's Saturday and no one could shower or use the water in the house. I called the local businesses, but no one could come out until Monday at the earliest. I called Roto-Rooter and Ernest came out. Assessed the problem and fixed it in no time. He was very professional, friendly and efficient. My dog even liked him! I will definitely use Roto-Rooter again!
