They were on time courteous and professional. They returned my call promptly and got a technician to my house on the 4th of July!
Lisa N.I continue to use Roto-Rooter because they're professional, helpful, expert, and speedy. I had a toilet that would not flush, improper venting, and drooped drains. They showed up and fixed everything so my home life is better than before. The price is reasonable and I will always use this company.
Lia G.Kitchen sink was clogged, I called Roto Rooter on a weekend and someone came same day. He was very polite and we discussed the treatment options and pricing. He was able to clear the drain and was gone within an hour. He cleaned up after himself and was very tidy. I would recommend Roto-Rooter any time. My only sadness was the price, which is high for less than an hour's work. But I would have had to wait and been without a kitchen sink until a work day for a cheaper option.
Do you know what it's like to have your main sewer line clog, the plug pop, and a week's worth of sewage back up into your basement? We do. Well, that didn't happen this time. We know enough now to have the roots cleaned out ahead of time to prevent it from happening again. And we know enough to call Roto Rooter, and they send out Dave. Dave showed up today. On time. With the right tools. And a wonderful attitude, and cleaned out the roots, and arranged for Bob to come with his camera so we could see exactly what the problem was, where the problems are, and how we can prevent them in the future. Are we going to call any other company? Oh heck no!
The technician arrived, and was professional, knew what he was doing, and put down protective cover. Reason I'm giving this one star, is that it was $529 to snake out one bathroom sink line. That was not a clean out to the street, that was not a whole house clean out that was one sink line , one floor to the basement only, that took 15 minutes. The price is outrageous 4 years ago, I usedJake the snake for the exact same job, it was $175. This was not an emergency, I booked the appointment and three days later they arrived. I took the day off from work to be there, so that is the only reason why didn't refuse the service. I could've bought a power snake for $275, at Harbor Freight, done it myself and saved money. Crazy.
Sue C.I had originally called Rotorooter a month ago for two repairs, both leaks. I got an appt on the next available workday, about 4 days from the call date. I had hoped for a weekend appt as it seemed by the ads they worked 24/7 but I guess that is for emergencies only. I had a 4 hour window; 8-12. After I made the appt I thought I should have changed it to the afternoon so at least I could get a half day of work in, but I made the decision to wait it out and hope they would be here earlier than later. Well long story short I waited until 11:30 and then called to find out the plumbers were all running late and they would not get to me for at least another hour or so. So I decided to reschedule so I could go into work. Not great experience so far. Ok flash forward a month to my second appt... my husband actually fixed the one leak so the remaining leak was on the outside faucet. It was dec 21 and below freezing and when I checked the faucet it appeared frozen. I made the appt again for 8-12 since I had taken the day off for Christmas shopping. Got a call before 8 to say the plumber was on his way... nice! He got there and was very courteous and explained everything to me. Since it appeared frozen he said they had a machine to de-ice it, but it was very expensive. If I would like he said I could try the hairdryer trick to see if that would work. So I did...here's some advice...don't plug two hairdryers into the same plug or you'll blow a fuse...I did.anyway the water started flowing again and he changed both the shut off valve and the outdoor faucet in less than two hours. He was very neat and professional. And he loved my cats and made sure they didn't go out to the garage. Made up for the bad first experience.
Dan L.I had Ron, Richard and Bazin work on replacing a sewer line at one of my rental properties. These guys were great. They knew what they were doing, were a pleasure to be around, and did a great job. They went above and beyond to ensure the job was done property. The job might have been cheaper going with a different company, but everyone I worked with made the extra money worth while. I will use them again on other projects.
first of all I really appreciated the fact that they called about 30 min. before the service man arrived. Carl arrived in the time period I was given and immediately put on shoe covers and came in to look at the problem. He showed me a written estimate and proceeded to do the work when I gave my approval. He was neat and cleaned up when he was finished and also gave me some hints to prevent the problem from happening again. He also asked if there was anything else I wanted him to look at and he told me how to take care of my kitchen sink also.
I highly reccomend RR they are wonderful and I didn't find their pricing out of line.
Kathleen W.Even though it's obvious, I must note:
It really is awful to have a basement/flood/nightmare situation, especially on a Friday night [when minding my own business and trying to simply put in a load of wash in my basement]. I know there are many people in the world with MUCH worse problems, but still ..... this was a ""worst"" problem for me nonetheless. Soooooo .... I then Googled/called Roto and, well:
I would have thought that Shawn and Orlando were ""Roto franchise"" owners. Orlando's arrival kindly followed the timely arrival of Shawn -- who at my behest then asked Orlando to come straight from another gig in a nearby town (even though both their shifts were ending) -- with the necessary equipment on his truck to complete the job. (Again, this is late on a Friday night, and i would have otherwise needed to either ""pack out"" or ""not use water/toilets/sinks"" for the overnight into the next day.)
These guys went SO above and beyond with their service, were SO kind about reassuring me that ""it was going to be okay,"" (reassurance which I needed, as much as anything else, at that point). AND ..... when all was said/done they took the extra care to allow me a few extra minutes at the end of their service for a questionswer session -- thereby educating me re: my system and how to best tend to it.
So bottom line: it's noooo fun to deal with this kind of BS, but i couldn't help but (a) thank them profusely for following through, and then (b) remember the ol' Ad-campaign from the 70's/80s (which, clearly, was a good one):
""Roto-Rooter, that's the name -- to send your troubles ......... (heheheheeeee) down the drain."" !!!!!:):):):)
Thanks guys x0XO0xo0XO0xo0XOxxx
