Admit they are fast, but they are a total rip off!! They had to come in several times and said that they had to jet it because they couldn't get in with a cable, which cost me each time $970 !!. Ridiculous, this was all done within 90 minutes.
When I called next time the other plumber (Total Plumbing) they cabled it through first time and were done within one hour and charged me $200.
Then I recognized what a rip off Roto-Rooter is. I gave them the second star, because they are fast.

Roto-Rooter gave fast and effective service. I called to make an appointment and they were able to send a technician out within 2 hours. Kyle James, the technician was professional, friendly, and answered our plumbing questions. We were very pleased with the service and the professionalism that we received. (Golden, CO)

Not a good experience. They come out for free but that's the only good thing. When he got here he asked what the symptoms were and immediately said it sounds like a broken pipe. Said he could use their big machine to snake it for about $300.00. Bye bye! Called Afford-a-Rooter, got here same day, Asked the symtoms and got to work. Unclogged a wad of baby wipes 100 ft down the line. Done. $130.00!!!

I just wanted to take the time to give a ""shout out"" to all the guys at Roto Rooter. I work in the multi family industry and have a need for a good plumber on a more than regular basis. Roto Rooter is the best by far in their way of pricing, customer service, attention to detail and response time!

I called Roto-Rooter because my bathtub drain was clogged. The friendly technician, Kyle James, came within an hour that I called, fixed the problem in less than 40 minutes and charged me a fair price.

We had the worst experience ever with this company. Our toilet began to overflow at 8 at night. We called them for an emergency appointment. The guy showed up with his child in the car and kept sighing and muttering under his breath how annoyed he was to be there. He removed our toilet and stuck the snake in the drain. After a few minutes it was stuck. Instead of working with it more, he just cut off the snake and left. We were left with our toilet removed, a $359 bill and a big mess. Later, when another company had come to correct the situation, we called Roto Rooter to ask that our toilet be replaced. The rudest man ever informed us that ""they don't have time for that today."" I have even called the main line to report our experience. They have a special inbox to leave a message for complaints. They never returned our call. We have been letting everyone we know not to use this company. Their customer service is appalling.

They came out a did a just fine job - but wow what a price tag, I have rental properties and have had drains snaked before, but I've never paid this much for it. More than double what I've paid in the past

I am not sure which Roto-Rooter location which helped me, but it was Roto-Rooter. I was not given a quote for unclogging a bathroom sink drain, there was 'a free estimate upon arrival'.
It took approximately 3-4 minutes to fix (I had been trying to clear the clog myself, I should have tried a few minutes longer)....I believe this is a tactic to get into your home, and you are mildly desperate to get the problem fixed....so you authorize the work....my bad
The fee was $237.00!!
DON'T USE THEM!!!
