The company was prompt and at the specified window of time and the service technician was a fun character! My only problem was the price $155 (with $40 coupon!) to root out a toilet that took 2 minutes. If I need it again, I think I'll go went my own equipment now that I've seen how it was done. This widow doesn't have that kind of money!

Had someone at my door within an hour of calling, can't beat that. Craig was very helpful and friendly and took care of my shower drain issue quickly. If I had any criticism it's just that it cost a bit more than I was expecting, but hard to complain when it was handled so quickly and he did point me towards an internet coupon that saved me $40.

I ended up having my dad fly in and by draining the hot water heater, undoing two bolts that hold it in place and then renting a snake from Home Depot and snaking the sewer flush valve we had the job done in an hour for $30. I'm still slightly appalled that a round trip plane ticket and and a equipment rental fee cost less than what I was charged by Rotor Rooter. They at least issued a full refund, if they hadn't I probably would have pursued the matter with the BBB, but at least they had the decency to refund me. Just for fun I called a few other local companies and they knew what the problem was right away and quoted me 1/3 of the price.

We had a great experience with Roto-Rooter! Our washing machine was backing up into the shower downstairs even after I tried to unclog it with Drano. When that didn't work, I called the best known plumbing and drain service I could think of and was astonished with the excellent customer service we received! I was skeptical to call on a Sunday thinking I would be charged double or even triple the amount of a ""normal"" service call but that was NOT the case at all!! No extra charges for evenings, weekends or holidays! The drain specialist arrived at our door within 30 minutes after I made the call for help. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made a great first impression on us. There's a valuable coupon online that saved us $100 on any drain cleaning service too! Dear Roto Rooter service man. You must be suffering some sort of delirium thinking this small frightened woman would ever pay $650.00 to replace a sump pump in a townhome. Or that I was so dumb that I would believe your story of having to wear an air hose to crawl in a crawl space to install it, per said tech ""OSHA standards"".
Here is what I am fully aware of....you jumped at the first site of a spider, you forgot your flashlight, you adjusted the price and told me that you were giving me wholesale prices!!! WHAT!? I called your bluff, quoted home depot prices for the pump itself and your efforts to crawl into a hole do not amount to 500.00 for installation.
Listen up...I'm strong, smart and it's time to get the f#*k out of this woman's house.

Followup. Left three messages with customer service to have a manager call me back. It's been 3 hoirs. They left a message with another manager.

Things did not start off well. I was given a 3 hour window (11:00 am to 2:00 pm). When no one had showed by 6:00 pm and no word on when anyone would, I had to cancel for that day. Once a plumber did arrive on another day, he was very informative and solved the problem quickly. I consider the $350 charge to be extremely high and I doubt I would call them again, but the technician did a good job.

I had a back-up and they came out the same day and fixed me right up! The only reason I give a 4, not a 5, is because they're a little pricey. But it was great service and the tech was really nice. Thanks!

Rustin was great! Very considerate of us with continuous updates. It was just a leaky tub faucet, but turned out to be a bigger fix than just swapping out cartridges. He was thorough in making certain there was no more leaking by the end of it.
I felt the rate was high, but it turned out to be good that it wasn't per hour and instead a fixed rate for the repair.
