We had a plumbing back up. Brad from Roto Rooter worked hard to diagnose the problem (piece of wood went down our pipe during our remodel). He came the next day, located the wood, fixed the pipe. We are very happy with his service.

We had a clogged kitchen sink drain. After another plumber tried and said he couldn't unblock it we called Roto-Rooter, frantic, on a Friday late afternoon. Within an hour I had a call back from Jesse and within two hours he was at our house. He explained what he suggested we do, went over what he would be billing for and the amounts and then started work. He was done within an hour and a half, drain snaked, packed up and on his way.
I did especially like the suggestions he made with regards to what to put down the garbage disposal and we will be using the bottle of treatment he suggested.
Thank you for being available at such short notice and for coming all the way up to Donner Summit on a Friday night. We very much appreciate it.

Jesse was very nice and thorough. I thought I had a much more difficult clog, as it had been give me trouble for a while. Jesse took care of it quickly, and easily. I would recommend them again if need be.

We're in the process of buying a house and since it's a short sale we had to fix a lot of issues out of pocket for the bank to approve the sale. I had initially called a DIFFERENT plumber who FORGOT WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT and so we're scrambling to find someone who can come out on short notice and fix the plumbing issues with the house because we'd already scheduled the appraiser. I found Roto-Rooter by Googling 'Carson City 24/7 Plumbing' and was able to get someone right away, who scheduled a plumber to come out and help us that same day.

Not only was Jesse able to address all of the issues we had with plumbing, but he explained everything in a way we could fully understand. He was very friendly and personable and was able to completely reassure us and promptly fix the plumbing problems. There were no leaks under the kitchen sink when we left the house at 8:30 that night.

Apparently, there was one when the appraiser came the next day.

So I called Roto-Rooter a second time and although we had no appointment scheduled and they were completely slammed that day, they were still able to send a plumber back out to help us. Jesse himself came back, even though he was tied up on other jobs until very late that night and we were at the house until 2:30 am, he was very dedicated to fixing the issue to make sure we would be able to get the house.

We will never use another plumbing service. Roto-Rooter has gained a very loyal customer.

Every time we have guests, our toilets clog up and the bathtub drains slowly. The joys of an older house. Bryan came out and cleared our drains and adjusted the toilets to prevent a disaster over the Thanksgiving weekend. He is very knowledgable and professional. He did an excellent job of explaining our problems and hopefully has remedied them.

I wouldn't recommend this company, needed a sewer lateral hydro jetted, called the phone number, dispatch gave the on call service technicians phone number, I needed this work done asap, he said he couldn't make it that night (tonight), so I verbal schedule an appointment for early morning, I guess it was too early for him because he gave me a lame excuse, so I said fine ""what works for you?"", he gave me a time more convient for him, I call him in morning to confirm our appointment, he tells me that someone had taken the hydro jetter and he doesn't know what time he could make it out to my job, that we already verbally scheduled since the night before. How does that happen??
Ended finding a smaller company that seemed more professional and knowledgeable then the Roto Rooter technician. And they showed up.
Funny thing is that I used to work for a Roto Rooter branch for over 10 years, made me feel embarrassed for the company. Sorry Jessie, you needed to learn customer service.

We currently live in the northern Reno, NV area and encountered our second drain issue this month. We called and within the hour Bryan from Roto-Rooter arrived.

Bryan was one of the most courteous and attentive people I've ever had the pleasure of encountering in any service industry not just plumbing and drain services.

He went to work quickly and with a positive disposition quickly identified the issues and had some great recommendations. Based on his advice and demeanor I decided I would buy the extended warranty on the service because any company that would employ someone like Bryan is a company I want to continue to give my business.

I cannot recommend this company and Bryan, in particular, high enough.

We live in Verdi, Nev., 10 mi. west of Reno. We were having minor clog problems
for awhile before the BIG CLOG happened. Naturally, it was after 5:00 p.m.
My poor husband had done all he could do, including removing the toilet,
snaking out the drain as far a possible, and using a liquid drain cleaner.
No luck! Then the water/sludge started coming up even more! YIKES! He yelled
for me to call someone. So I called RotoRooter. They sent Bryan. What a
lifesaver! He showed up asap and was courteous and friendly. He set to work
right away diagnosing the problem. At 60 feet of line, he found the clog.
The culprit? Dental Floss! Moral of the story: Don't flush dental floss down
the toilet!! Then the water flowed freely again. We chatted briefly as I paid
the invoice. What a great employee and a truly nice man! He said he had
been with RR for 10 years. They are lucky to have him!

We called on a Sunday with kitchen and bathroom drain not draining. We also needed a faucet tightened and stopper in bathroom sink fixed. Within an hour JJ showed up, took care of everything (no extra charge for Sunday and/or same day work! JJ was awesome. I will definitely use them again

I called on Sunday for jetting service. Within 20 minutes Bryan the Service Tech called me back to setup an appointment. I asked for an approximate price. He gave me one. We arranged the appointment for the next morning and he arrived at the scheduled time. I showed him the locations needing the jetting. He asked if the price given the night before was still okay. I replied yes and off he went to get started. Bryan worked neat and clean. He worked fast, he was professional, friendly and did an excellent job. I'm sold on Roto-Rooter Service. Thanks!!
