November 24, 2020, Roto-Rooter came to help fix a plumbing issue, snaked my clean out, and charged me $430. The next day, the issue still occurred, and they charged me another $350. Now it's 2022, and the problem still happens. Roto-Rooter doesn't know what they're doing and I don't recommend them.

Updating my review because of how kind Roto rooter has been and how much effort they've put into rectifying this situation. I may have had an unpleasant experience but they have made it clear that this event doesn't reflect their company and they've showed incredible professionalism.

horrible service, took over three weeks during winter in deep snow S Lake Tahoe to fix initial issue and calling county and utility company to do checks numerous times wasting everyone's time, customer service was horrible, warranty is a joke (won't even tell you if it's under warranty until work is done), numerous charges for same issue, don't waste your time or money

Warning- this van almost hit me as I stopped for someone walking across the street, then speed up to go around me, almost hit that person( came so close the guy hit his passenger window!) I called to complain, was told they would get back to me- never did!
They don't care about safety- told the person who answered the phone what happened, so acted like no big deal! This is how they treat our community?
They won't be called ever!

Thiz was the first ace that came up on my search, they were responsive to my calls. Were able to come out next day. My issue comes with their price. Over 370 for 15 min of work is a bit overkill. The price is around 4x the price of competition (paid 89 previously) and I can't find a reason why it is so much more, they even give the same warranty period as other places. The price simply isn't worth it when you get the same service, quality and customer service for 1/4 of the price. For that I won't be coming back. $400 after tax to snake out a soft toilet paper clog. Just BLOWS MY MIND.

THIS SERVICE INSTANCE DOESN'T DESERVE ANY STARS!

Earlier today, Roto Rooter tech called me from my tenant's residence saying they charge a flat rate of $780 for a roof drain clean out. I immediately became irate!!! The tech quickly said, as a courtesy they would decrease it and charge $500. Arriving at the address just a couple minutes later, I see the gentleman doing their job. Which I'm grateful for. The man running the snake spooler said I was rude. You bet I was rude. Two other plumbers I called while in transit to get there, quoted $195 per hour for a two man job. PLEASE GO TO ANY OTHER SOURCE who charge by the hour FOR DRAIN clean outs.
Talk about price-gouging!! Or just plain ripping off average citizens who work hard and struggle to pay rent that this landlord keeps below what is going on in the current, speculative, real estate environment.... Yep! that's Roto-Rooter! SHYSTERS!!! During call to their office, to air grievance, the lady was nice but OF ZERO HELP!!

Don't do it!! Worst experience!!I was scheduled for a plumber Tuesday am , he showed up Tuesday afternoon .He couldn't fix the issue , charged us 200$. He let us know he will return the following am with the correct tools to fix the issue , which I will be charged more for that follow up visit as well. Next morning , no call no show. I called his scheduler , she states I'm not booked for service , no appts available that day . I had to schedule for the following day , Another no call no show !So now it's Friday am , no communication at all.This is just a waste of time , money . I will never use this company again.

They showed up early, no uniform , no shoes booties to protect my floors. They charged me $700 to snake the house and sat in their car for 15 min killing time.
Not a good value. Call around, I used them because of their name.
One of the guys had no idea what he was doing!!
