I responded to a $60 ad to unclog any drain and i even confirmed with the representative that we would only be charged $60 because the drain was a bathtub drain on the 1st floor that was easily accessible. When the plumber arrived, they demanded $484 to unclog the drain. I reminded them that I had responded to a $60 ad to unclog any drain and they tried to tell me that they never would have approved that. They then said we can pull the tapes and listen to the recording and I absolutely agreed and asked them to pull the tapes immediately. Or course, they backtracked and said it may be difficult to pull the recordings despite the fact that they just offered to do so a minute ago. Regardless, don't fall for their false advertising and I will be following this up with a BBB complaint.

This is to get the word out to people who may encounter an accident with a Roto Rooter work truck. Be aware that it will take FOREVER to hear back from their insurance (I am still waiting), and they don't even provide the correct information on their insurance cards so they're practically impossible to contact.
I got rear ended last month and still have made no progress in my claim, their company has shown me how irresponsible they are and that I will never be using their services. My cracked bumper is still waiting to be fixed........

The plummer was well mannered and mask was worn. All that is nice but he did not do his job. He came in looked at the problem and went outside and snaked. He said the pipes were cracked old and needed to replaced. I asked him how could he know this without seeing inside. His answer i do this everyday and there nothing further he could do. I asked him too snake the other drain and he kept saying it would cost more. I did not call a plummer to debate pricing for doing there job. I called because my washer was backing up my toilet and tub. He didn't try to snake another drain. Instead he stated SORRY THINGS HAPPEN THERES NOTHING HE CAN DO THE PIPES NEED TO BE REPLACED. Charged me $89 and left me with the same problem. I call to complain and his manager backed him up. I had to stay in a hotel for 3 days while I searched for a real plummer. $700 dollars later a plummer came out with a 100 foot snake got on the roof and unclothed my pipes. Add 65 to that seven hundred. I have three kids and I'm a single parent. This hit on my budget could have been avoided if Rotor Rooter would have just did there job.
