Prompt service on a Sunday. Marcus spent 2.5 hours at my house making sure he had done everything he could for our plumbing issue. He identified the main problem pretty quickly and was very good about talking us through everything as he was doing it. Great service. Wouldn't hesitate to call them again if I need it.

I just finished a remodel of several bathrooms and began having the new plumbing backing up on us. I called Roto Rooter on Peninsula Ave to snake the old plumbing lines to the street at the advice of our contractor's plumber. Jay arrived on time and after inspecting the property noted that the old plumber did not install a 4 inch clean out that is necessary to snake the line to the street. He gave me a quote to install the line, but suggested that it might be less expensive to contact the contractor first and discuss the issue. Jay spent at least 30 minutes at my house, thoroughly explained the issue to me and suggested a way that might save me money and then did not charge me for the visit. He just hoped that once the line was installed he would have a chance to clean the line for me at that time. It is rare to see someone so completely focused on customer service even though I was not yet a paying customer. I will use Roto Rooter for all of my future plumbing needs. Jay made me a customer for life.

We have a problem with tree roots clogging our home sewer line which occurs almost every year duet o the City of San Mateo's refusal to allow us to trim or remove/replace the tree causing the problem.

Once again the response from Roto-Rooter was timely and the technician, Tim, was great. We have used this service for over 25 years and have had only one instance when they had to return to fix the problem - and they did so at no charge. I would never consider calling a different company. Tim was friendly, efficient, and obviously knew his craft - I would certainly never hesitate to call him the next time we have problems.

Thanks to Roto-Rooter for resolving several issues for me. I had called a local service who told me that I had cracked pipes as there were roots on the end of the snake and it would cost thousands of dollars to repair and they may not be able to do the work. I called Roto-Rooter and how nice it was to have a professional work on the problem. They called me prior to their arrival, actually ahead of schedule. Jay was very professional and courteous and did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem. He used the camera and the pipes were fine and he used a snake and also flushed them out. I also had a problem with my kitchen sink which I thought was part of the larger problem but the house has a funky mobile home trap on the kitchen sink so he suggested I replace the baffle with some screen. I also didn't know that the type of toilet paper could be an issue for blocking pipes and he left me with some degreaser to clean out all my pipes. I am oh so very happy!!! Thank you so much Jay for the wonderful service and tips. Will definitely be calling Roto-Rooter for all my plumbing needs!!!
