They came to my home and took a look at my water heater and determined it had to be replaced. I have insurance that covers it. They said I didn't have to change water lines or gas lines. This conversation was all caught on my surveillance in my garage. Once they submitted the claim to my insurance company it was accepted. After telling me no others parts had to be changed they submitted a bill for $960 now saying these parts had to be changed. I have all the proof that they said I didn't. So after lie after lie I didn't hire them. Be carful with this company. Scam artists.

I called to get an estimate on my faucet leak and was told that the service technician will provide a free estimate. If I didn't want to proceed then there will be no charge. Travis from roto rooter came and did a quick check (less than 5 minutes) and told me that I needed a new faucet. After he looked at it he said I will be charged a fee of $160 since he did a diagnostic. I told him that was not what was advertised. I called the 800 roto rooter number and notified the representative that Travis is trying to charge me for a diagnostic. The representative confirmed that I will not be charged a fee and apologized. It was upsetting how dishonest Travis was and it was a poor experience. I thought roto rooter was a reputable company, but even then they can hire dishonest people.

Didn't fix anything, and we paid almost $200 for a button to be pushed a few times. Got upsold was well for an overpriced replacement. Giving 3 stars instead of 1 because the original technician we had was friendly and prompt.

Kitchen sink wasn't draining. Scheduling was an easy process with their online scheduling. Technician was able to come on time and fix the issue nice and fast. He was super kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Thanks Joshua Rubio.

I would advise anyone considering doing business with this company Research them on Google and Yelp. Travis Weddington is an unscrupulous crook in my opinion.
He came out here ,and accessed my situation. Said he would go out to his truck and write an estimate. He was out there so long ,I asked my neighbor is he writing a book ?
Walked over to his van and he came out and gave me an estimate of $325.00 !!!
To unclog a kitchen sink ?
I told him no way in hell am I gonna pay that much , not even half that amount. He said no need to use foul language, I said no you can leave there are other companies advertising $49.00 drain clean outs. He said he would call his boss,I said not interested. He called anyway and put his boss on speaker phone, I said if he wants job he will do it for $100.00 or less he said no. I told Travis to kick rocks I will call someone else.
I happen to know a little about plumbing. I repiped my whole house few years back. I told Travis there is only approximately 12 feet of pipe that needs snaking .
Bottom line after he left I called another companie,was told $88.00 , but would have to wait until morning.
The only reason I called rotor rooter is because of there reputation and years in business. When Travis came out and gave me such a ridiculous estimate,and hearing that I would have to wait until morning, I decided to do it myself. 20 minutes later with a hand held snake from Home depot, drain was clear
I would advise everyone to steer clear of this business. Call around , of do it yourself $325 for a simple drain clean out is Robbery!!!

Definitely came in handy and quick at a shorts notice turned a water issue into into quick solutions as they fixed a big leak in my kitchen these guys will literally flush your problems away !!

We had a problem with our kitchen sink. As soon we called Roto-Rooter (Murrieta), the next day, Charlie (the technician) was here. He was a hardworking, clean, and wore gloves and a face mask. The problem was solved within an hour. I really recommend this company and Charlie.

Our sinks started to back up badly after running the garbage disposal - called Roto-RooterCA.com (Murrieta) and they had the plumbers there in just a few hours.

Super professional and even after we realized the problem was much more than just a garbage disposal - they were super quick at finding the problem - showing us video and a most excellent resolution.

The next day - they dug up the front yard, replaced the offending sewage pipe and had the job done by the end of the day - even in the chilly weather!

I highly recommend Jake, Larry, Chris and Jesse! That crew was always kind and understanding. Masked up when we had to speak to each other about the resolution and left our yard as they found it....hard working guys all of them!!

Alexander came out to unclog a toilet. He said it would cost $325. I then saw him auger the toilet. I said I want you to remove the toilet he said that would cost me more than $400 and started telling me how much more everything else would be. When it didn't work he called his manager and his salesman showed up ran a camera and said there is something there but its going to cost you more.
He eventually had a list of charges minimum $13000 for a new toilet and up to $4000 for the whole house.
I said no you didn't fix the problem and now you're basically charging over $300 just to give me a bigger estimate.
I refused any more his services made some calls had another plumber come out and in less than 20 min he had cleared the clog out of the toilet for less than what they charged me to do fix nothing.
I called to speak to district manager I have had no return calls.

Both of our sinks filled up with water and I called plumbers looking for help. All of them couldn't come out for several days until I got a hold of RotoRooterCA and they were able to come out that day! I had the greatest experience with Alex and Brian! They were friendly, explained things in terms that I understood and gave me some preventative tips for the future. They even had treats for my two dogs! I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future. Their kindness and compassion really made my day and renewed my faith in the old fashioned service that there used to be!
