Terrible plumbing experience! They came over and did not seem to know what they were doing. They were unprofessional, kind of wandering around the house. Very strange! Then they wanted to charge $450 for a job that another plumber did for $125.

Let me save you some time so you can save money. I called a few plumbers to give me a quote to hydro jet some clogged deck drains along my house. Few plumbers gave me quotes from $700 to over $900. I'm thinking it's a bit steep to clear out drains. So I thought giving Roto-rooter a try to see what their prices are. I get a call back from a lady and hit me in the nuts with a $1800 quote. After shitting my shorts and trying to catch my breath, I told her just to clear some drains? So she goes into her book of reasons why it's so expensive and she rattled about it's very physically demanding, and that the machine they use very expensive. My response was your company is a conglomerate and you're worried about how much your machines cost? I had a hunch before I called by I rolled the dice anyway. I'll find a plumber who'll give me a price I can afford. RR is a rip off!

After two attempts to get a plumber out we got cancelled on both times in one week. My wife had to rearrange her work schedule to get there early enough for the plumber to arrive before their late-hours and late-charge happen, but they weren't able to make it during their own window. Tried to see if they could waive the late fee since our appointment had been for before the late hours, but they said they couldn't do anything about the fee. My wife had to reschedule appointments and leave work early both times, but didn't get anything for it. Our bathroom is still out of commission and we have to find someone who can show up now. Very disappointed in overall customer service.

They came to my home and took a look at my water heater and determined it had to be replaced. I have insurance that covers it. They said I didn't have to change water lines or gas lines. This conversation was all caught on my surveillance in my garage. Once they submitted the claim to my insurance company it was accepted. After telling me no others parts had to be changed they submitted a bill for $960 now saying these parts had to be changed. I have all the proof that they said I didn't. So after lie after lie I didn't hire them. Be carful with this company. Scam artists.

I called to get an estimate on my faucet leak and was told that the service technician will provide a free estimate. If I didn't want to proceed then there will be no charge. Travis from roto rooter came and did a quick check (less than 5 minutes) and told me that I needed a new faucet. After he looked at it he said I will be charged a fee of $160 since he did a diagnostic. I told him that was not what was advertised. I called the 800 roto rooter number and notified the representative that Travis is trying to charge me for a diagnostic. The representative confirmed that I will not be charged a fee and apologized. It was upsetting how dishonest Travis was and it was a poor experience. I thought roto rooter was a reputable company, but even then they can hire dishonest people.

Didn't fix anything, and we paid almost $200 for a button to be pushed a few times. Got upsold was well for an overpriced replacement. Giving 3 stars instead of 1 because the original technician we had was friendly and prompt.

Kitchen sink wasn't draining. Scheduling was an easy process with their online scheduling. Technician was able to come on time and fix the issue nice and fast. He was super kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Thanks Joshua Rubio.

I would advise anyone considering doing business with this company Research them on Google and Yelp. Travis Weddington is an unscrupulous crook in my opinion.
He came out here ,and accessed my situation. Said he would go out to his truck and write an estimate. He was out there so long ,I asked my neighbor is he writing a book ?
Walked over to his van and he came out and gave me an estimate of $325.00 !!!
To unclog a kitchen sink ?
I told him no way in hell am I gonna pay that much , not even half that amount. He said no need to use foul language, I said no you can leave there are other companies advertising $49.00 drain clean outs. He said he would call his boss,I said not interested. He called anyway and put his boss on speaker phone, I said if he wants job he will do it for $100.00 or less he said no. I told Travis to kick rocks I will call someone else.
I happen to know a little about plumbing. I repiped my whole house few years back. I told Travis there is only approximately 12 feet of pipe that needs snaking .
Bottom line after he left I called another companie,was told $88.00 , but would have to wait until morning.
The only reason I called rotor rooter is because of there reputation and years in business. When Travis came out and gave me such a ridiculous estimate,and hearing that I would have to wait until morning, I decided to do it myself. 20 minutes later with a hand held snake from Home depot, drain was clear
I would advise everyone to steer clear of this business. Call around , of do it yourself $325 for a simple drain clean out is Robbery!!!

Definitely came in handy and quick at a shorts notice turned a water issue into into quick solutions as they fixed a big leak in my kitchen these guys will literally flush your problems away !!
