I got a bathroom problem so I called Monday around 7 pm and they gave me a window time around 8:00 pm to 1:00 am I couldn't believe they work so late so I said why not come at the time if you want...They called me around 12:30 am but my wife and me decided to reschedule the dispatcher Jose said Tuesday after 6 pm. Paul came to my property and very professional handle the situation in a record time!!

I called them to check a clogged toilet. The person used a tool that you can get at any store to unclog the toiled, found that there were roots in the pipe and said that to fix it was between 3 to 5 thousand dollars. Stayed for 10 minutes and charge more than $200. Never mentioned a simpler solution as a root killer.

Called in today as we had an issue with a drain in the back of our home. I was told that someone would be at my home within 2hrs to take care of the problem. They shared I would get phone call when tech was 30 minutes out. I received as phone call promised an tech arrived promptly. Tech arrived introduced himself and provide a fair honest quote and completed work to our total satisfaction within a few hours. When he left he insured area was clean and shared completed work. Brian the tech was excellent as was the total experience. Thank you all, operators, dispatcher and Brian. You got our future business and recommendations.

They are behind in technology, their excuse of not having my information when I called in is that the call center isn't equipt for that kind of stuff.

Absolutely would never recommend them again to no one. I found out that Roto Rooter was solid to a large Enterprise and this new company, is not about customer service, its about the MONEY.

I also found out that they don't offer alot of services that they used to in the past.

I had them scheduled to come out a locate a water leak under the house and the technician came out with his equipment and located to leak and guarantee within 2 or 3 feet circumference and he gave me a quote of $3100.00 to fix the leak. So I decided to call another company and get quote and this company quoted $2600.00.

Here's where the problem lays, Roto Rooter was way off on where the actual leak was in the house, the leak was 5 ft plus from where they stated it was. So I called Roto Rooter to tell them, they dismissed me very rudely and stated we will refund you your money, instead of helping with the issue and finding other solutions or any recommendations. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau & The Chamber of Commerce.

WARNING, WARNING, WARNING!!! do not use Roto Rooter. This company got the job done alright. However they are a big rip off when it comes to what they charge $$$$$$. I will never use them again. I would give them a zero if I could.
Use Reddi Rooter. Not only do they get the job done, they don't charge exorbitant prices. They also give military discounts.

These guys are openly fraudulent. You call and Ziggy (or whoever answers the phone) will tell you they will have a service person out to your house within 2 hours. Then when two hours are up, and you've been waiting around with no toilets running, they have another person/dispatcher Henry or whoever call to say it will be another 2 hours or more!!!! We called Rooter Hero (who we should have called in the first place) who said they would come out in 1.5 hours and contacted us several times after agreeing to come out to give us updates on their arrival time which WAS in less than 1.5 hours.
NEVER USE ROTO ROOTER. Dishonest business.

New management, new rip-off! We have used this company many times for our typical ""sewer line/roots"" every two-three years over past 20+ years. NEVER AGAIN. Called to have line snaked on Sunday. They now DO NOT quote any ""minimum"" or service fee as was always done. The worker showed up, and I explained the issue, showed him the outside clean out, which extends straight line to the main street line, about 45 feet. I asked ""how much will it be?"" He clearly said ""TWO FIFTY"". I said what?? it used to be about $200, is it extra for Sunday? He said ""No. We have new owners. I have been having a lot of customers not want to pay the new fees"". Well I had a $50 coupon from their company. Again, he said ""that will make it better""..so I said go ahead. He cleaned out the line in about 20 mins. It actually took longer for him to drag the auger out of the truck and then put it back. He wrote up the invoice...it was a WHOPPING $350. It was outrageous. I asked him about the price he quoted. He lied and said ""Oh, I said three fifty"". Well, after he left, I called the company, and the woman took down my complaint in great detail, apologized, and said someone from the office would call me. Monday, Tuesday, Wed...nothing. I call Wed. ""Alice"" answers, transfers me to the manager. Of course it rings and rings and then goes to voice mail... So I call back. Same voice. She denies it was her speaking to me before. Um. So I ""again"" explain my issue, and how magically the price went up upon giving the coupon. No resolution only that ""our prices went up"" but assured me that a manager would be calling. I am still waiting. So.... GET A WRITTEN quote. Why did I not? Because I am a (WAS) a long time repeat customer. We're in their database and they clearly can see how many times the've come. I wanted to stop payment, or fight this..but it's $100...I am more upset about the deception. So, for a small profit, they have lost an account. BEWARE.

Remarkably unprofessional through the call center. I scheduled an appointment for midnight to 4:00 am. I received a call from a number that came through as a (206) area code and no message was left so I assumed it was a telemarketer. 7 minutes later they called back and I answered. I questioned why the number was a Seattle number in a 925 area code city. They said they had no control over that and some guy was cackling in the background. The guy said, ""do you need a plumber or not?"" I said sure. I called back to Livermore (I had been transferred to the concord location) who agreed the whole situation was odd and unprofessional but said they were franchised and couldn't work in each other's territory. He gave me their direct line, a 925 number (different than the number on the yelp site but the same number the website links to) Almost immediately I was told I was talking to the same guy as the 206 number. The same guy was laughing in the background. I basically canceled the appointment because I was being belittled and I don't believe a professional organization should operate this way. Looks like I dodged a bullet by avoiding hefty fees as well as that wasn't discussed at all.
