Roberto and Jamie came out today and they were great! Clean, polite and thorough..I would recommend them to anyone in need. Jamie took time to explain the scope of work and other alternative ways to solve my problem. I appreciated both Jamie and Roberto!

Called them to come snake my main line at 10:30 am. I was told someone would be out at noon and that I would get a call when plumber was on the way. 12:30 pm rolls around and still no call so I call back. I was told they are still coming out so I wait some more. 2:30 pm still no call or plumber, call back again this time I'm told they are on another job and that I'm next, wait some more. 4:00 pm still no call or plumber call back a third time am told they will be done at 4:30 pm and will then be out. 5:00 pm still no call or plumber call back finial time and cancel my service request because at this point I do not trust them nor do I want to give them money for making me wait all day. If you don't have service available don't tell me someone will be out at a certain time and then make me wait 5 hours past that.

Great job clearing drain, but technician failed to quote price in advance. I have seen ads for $79 and $99 drain clearing--so I was shocked to get a request to pay $250!
This was a normal snake of line just 15' to clear the clog. We're not talking about roof access or removing an appliance to get access--nothing special. This was a straight kitchen sink unclog.
I'm not going to pay an exorbitant fee when company had promised they would call me with a quoted price first. They didn't call first...and now demand 2.5x reasonable price! Warning-- don't trust this company to quote you a price before demanding payment.

Main drain line was plugged. Said they could not find a ground level access to main line and had to go on roof to clear line (and walk on our newly repaired roof tiles). Price quoted to clear drain and run a camera through it was outrageous! Paid them a $79 fee for coming out. Called a local plumber with good reviews who came out the same day, found a ground level main drain access (no climbing on the roof!) and cleared the line at a reasonable price. The price quoted by Roto-Rooter was over 3 times the cost of the plumber we used. Would definitely NOT recommend Roto-Rooter.

I called them up from a very busy restaurant with a backup and they had a technician out within 20 minutes. The tech already knew what was happening and had my clog cleared out within 20 minutes.

He cleaned up after his mess and charged me a very low fee and went on his way.

I would honestly give them zero stars if that was an option! I was told they are a ""paperless"" company but when I went to use an online coupon to pay for an extremely overpriced drain clean ($250 for a single drain snake) I was told that I had to print it out in order for them to accept it. When I asked the technician why it was so expensive he claimed that they ""raise their price drastically during tax season and then back in to $89 for the remainder of the year."" They ended up backing up a different drain in the process and leaving a sink filled with filthy water! The tech was friendly however I showed them a specific way to the problem drain that didn't require them walking their dirty boots all through my home where I have an infant crawling around yet suddenly they're walking all over not caring that I told them not to get their dirty boots all over my carpet because of the baby! Then I was told a receipt would be emailed to me, here I am 8 days later with still no receipt! So I call the company in attempts to get the receipt emailed to me only for the rude receptionist to laugh at my concerns for the service and hang up on me! Super disrespectful and I will never be using their service again! Oh and to add, no I still have not received my receipt!

I did not like your receptionist attitude at all. I had to get off the phone with her and have my boyfriend call and he felt the same way. They wanted several hundred dollars to put a camera down the line. We ended up calling another company that charged us 53$ to clear our clogged line which also included camera service on a different day.

I called Roto Rooter in Escondido...they passed me onto the Roto Rooter that covers Valley Center Ca.I was told they would be out between noon-and three.They just called me to say they cannot be out to unclog the drain until the am.I have another company coming...STAY AWAY FROM ROTO Rooter In VALLEY CENTER CA

I had to call Escondido Roto-Rooter over the weekend due to my drain pipes backing up. Within a few hours, Jaime showed up ready to fix all my problems. Upon removing the toilet it was evident that I needed a new flange because the old one had corroded due to a bad wax seal. I also found out I had a bad angle stop. Jaime was quick, efficient, and very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to explain everything to me. He even interacted really well with my kids who kept popping up to ask a million questions. I am always worried that I am going to get taken advantage of when it comes to these things, but I am very confident that Jaime was there to help me, not charge me for unnecessary procedures. I highly recommend Jaime and Roto-Rooter!

So, I had a clogged drain in the kitchen that needed to be cleared ASAP. I googled plumbers and Roto-Rooter came up so I gave them a call.

I called the Escondido office. I was advised that they didn't service Poway and transferred me to the office that serviced my area. That was the El Cajon office. They told me that I needed to call the Escondido office. So I called them back. They gave me a number to call which I did. It happened to be the El Cajon office. So I called the the El Cajon office. The gal I spoke with apologized and was going to see what she could do and call me back. 15 minutes later she calls me to advise that she was still waiting for a manager to call her back. That was the last I heard from them. Never heard back. I guess they didn't want my business.

Needless to say that I was very disappointed. I called Anderson plumbing which I have dealt with before. I should have called them to begin with. At least they follow through.
