Roto-Rooter not only could send out a plumber wishing 1 hour on a Sunday prior to a holiday, they sent one who was fantastic. Ilia figured out what was needed for a water heater repair and scheduled to return the next morning with the part, handling all the warranty issues.
But there was a surprise -- a shock really : the water heater another company installed 4 years ago was the wrong type. It was designed for natural gas and we only have propane. (A miracle the water heater lasted this long.)
Ilia helped me explain to the original installer of the problem that was their fault, he got the water heater running so we wouldn't be without hot water for the short term. And also made sure everything was safe.
Above and beyond what you might expect from a big service company like Roto. Great work Ilia! Thank you!

Don't send the camera tech after the house owners have to pay your plumbers the premium price like $1071 to clear the drainage problem of a toilet if his job is required for you to provide any warranty for your plumbers' work. And inform the house owners what are the conditions your company can't provide warranty when the plumbers give estimates so the owners know before they authorize the work. It was also waste of the house owners' time to have to be home again for your camera tech to come to remove the toilet and check the condition of your plumbers' work, we had to either cancel our work to stay home again or didn't attend church in order to accommodate his coming which was what we did. We had no choice unless we were willing to have no warranty for his work and willing to pay &1071 again to clear the drainage problem in a week if the same drainage problem appears. Unfortunately, even after the camera tech came again, the plumber Gabriel and his supervisor Peter still said no warranty at all, not even a week or a month for Gabriel's work which we paid a total of $1071. But we were still glad that the camera tech came as he did showed us the pipe was not properly cleared by Gabriel. Luckily, the camera man was able to clear it easily with a few back and forth using the snake with the camera on. I hope that was not intentional and not the reason we were not given any warranty. What was the reason the plumber couldn't bring a snake with a camera on since we pay such a premium price ($1071) for his about two-hour time of work at my house so the house owner didn't have to pay without any warranty for the plumber's work? And didn't have to stay home again to wait for the camera tech to come and remove the toilet to check the pipe in order to get any warranty for the plumbers's work? I bet many home owners would skip the camera tech due to their busy schedule and no warranty will be given. Or, more work will be required in order for them
to get any warranty. You are not only super expensive, you are also super irresponsible.

We set a time window for the visit but the Plumber did not show-up.
They rescheduled later in the day after I called them to know what was going on.
They offered to fix my problem but at a prohibitive price, so I have decided not to move forward.

I was charged $680 to flush my tankless water heater with no guarantee it would work. The first technician initially quoted me $1,100, including a flushing kit I didn't need. When I said that was too much, he dropped the price to $680, but still no guarantee. After the service, the issue persisted, and they couldn't even diagnose what was wrong with the water heater.
When I asked for further clarification, they sent a different technician, The second tech said the pump was likely damaged and offered more options but wanted to charge me again for a diagnosis. I feel completely ripped off. Poor service and no resolution--would not never recommend.

This company should be ashamed of themselves.

They came out to clear my kitchen sink drain. They hit there snake fought in my drain. They cut the snake and told me that I had to pay 9k to dig out pipes and also pay for them not to fix drain and making a mess and leaving a cut piece of snake sticking out of my pipes.

They did not have a camera, or jet or a cutting tool to cut snake.

I had my friend come out and remove the snake in 5 minutes and clear the pipes in less then an hour.

Way over-priced. They do not give out estimate over the phone, they only provide estimate when the technician arrives. The technician who came over is nice, but was quoting $650 to replace a thermocouple for the water tank, which was much higher than other repair services. Also, they charge a $150 service fee for coming to give customers an estimate quote, so first off the customer won't be able to know the price until they come, and you gotta pay $150 once they arrive, even if they did not perform any repair.

We had a leak on a hose bib. The leak was on the main water line as well. they responded quickly and sent a technician out. Unfortunately, I as the property owner, wasn't there, and ended up paying a $600 charge to replace a hose bib.
Caution. This company uses a flat rate for this type of work. You may do better in some cases to work with someone that performs at an hourly rate. I complained so much when I got the bill. Their backend team diagnosed the bill and helped me understand it, but as a future customer, I would use them after I got a quote from someone who charges hourly.

R-R technician replaced the toilet 09/07/2022. Given Invoice clearly shown ""Plumbing Replacement"" warranty for 1 year
04/10/223 I called Roto-Rooter because replaced toilet leaked. Technician came and re-install the wax-ring at this toilet, did not admit the warranty (""Plumbing Replacement"") and charged $850 service fee.
In few days I found that toilet has been installed not accurately: it was not properly leveled to the floor and not tight properly with the mounting studs. Actually, it has a play and rocks against the floor.
Very bad quality and service, not recommended.

He tried to charge $510 for a simple snaking job. Boss, This is extortion. No no no hahahah. Finally he threw his rubber gloves on my gate mat. Hahaha
