Thank you Roto Rooter for coming out quickly to repair the leak from the main bathroom, which made it's way to the hallway carpet as well as fix the shower faucet in the master bathroom. These leaky faucet issues stem from the handyman I hired this past weekend who did a sloppy job. As a result, the hallway carpet was wet for 3 days and I feared there may be some damage. Gerardo Garcia came to assess the situation and gave me an estimate of how much everything was going to cost. I agreed to the cost. He replaced the hot water valve under my mom's sink and there was no more leak. I asked him if he would be able to install the new shower faucet that my mom purchased for her bathroom and he said he would take a look at the old one (which was leaking too) and told me and my mom that the new shower faucet required an additional part. I asked him if it was possible to purchase the the additional part at my local hardware store and he went out and bought it. He also fixed the leak in the shower faucet in the master bathroom, which the handyman did not install properly. Gerardo went above and beyond the scope of his duty. My mom and I appreciate his honesty, professionalism and his expertise. He was prompt, efficient and got the job done. Now there are no more leaks in the main bathroom and the master bathroom. In addition, I would like to mention Gerardo brought with him two additional workers, named Art and Jose, who came to assess the water damage on the carpets and on the walls. I was given some information regarding that too. Overall, I am a satisfied customer and highly recommend Gerardo. Just knowing that the job will be done right and having a peace of mind is priceless!

I called Roto-Rooter for a dishwasher installation, explained it was not a replacement but a new installation that would require carpentry work to remove cabinet interior and create an opening between a cabinet in the sink. The guy on the phone was super polite and said problem they did it all the time, could do it easily. We set up a service appointment and the guy who arrived said he could not do any service that day, just give me a quote. when I said it was supposed to be a service appointment he said ""they do that all the time"" but mostly when they arrive the can only quote the job and do the service later. I was really surprised at the level of dishonesty as well as the delay and taking a half day off work for nothing. I will find a more honest business for my plumbing needs.

Want to give these guys a major shout out!!!

We had a major leak coming from our neighbors property above our own. The leak was going on for WEEKS and causing erosion and water damage to our property. We called just about everyone we can think of, as did the neighbors whose water it was causing the damage. NO ONE could figure where it was leaking from, no one, not even a professional water ""detection"" company. It was so stressful and frustrating knowing we had to live with all this WATER RUNNING ONTO our property!!

Finally, Roto-Rooter comes out and it's a MIRACLE, they find it in less than ONE HOUR, and fix the broken pipe that they estimate, has been leaking for more than a month!!

Thank you guys so much for helping and fixing this mess!! You are all awesome and we really appreciate your experts!!!

Make sure you do your research on how much something is supposed to cost before having these people come. Make them break down the cost to the very last penny. They take advantage of clueless people

The most expensive plumber in the whole Monterey peninsula. They charged us $500 for 20 minutes of work to cleared one laundry drain!

I had Roto-Rooter come to my house in King City on June 28, 2021 for a backed up drain. Tech explained that my house was old and had debris in the lines and recommended a hydro-jet cleaning for $1,400. The tech jetted out my lines and told me the line was clear and all was good. Today is July 15th and my drain is already clogged again. I called to Roto-Rooter to come visit my house again. Tech explained again that my line was clogged and that they do NOT GUARANTEE their work and I have to pay another $1,400 to do the same job they failed to do the first time.

My recommendation is do not call them at all. Go with Benson Plumbing for a quality company that will stand behind their work.

My service was good the young man Alex tried an did his best which was great the one thing that kind of bother me was I had to tell him to put on shoe covers. But really got me was the price I had to pay for them to use a camera. My grandson flushed a Lysol toilet stone with plastics on it down. Then the toilet backed up. They pulled the toilet snaked it and resealed it for 250.00 dollars and tub. But we still worried about a blockage from lysol stone so we asked them to check with a camera 445.00 dollars when it was done over we were out 845.00. I told myself I will wait for our old plumber. I have had major issues before and never once did he ever charge me that when he used his camera. Didn't corporate get the memo we were in damn pandemic people have been out of work. I don't blame the the workers but I do blame the Owners.
