Place just absolutely ripped off my girlfriend. They were supposed to show up Wednesday they never did. Rescheduled for this morning but didn't show up until this evening and then totally took advantage of a female and charges her $300 for a 15 minute snake job. Same place called charges me $100 for a tougher job last week. Better business bureau is going to hear from us.

Called these guys for a backed up sewer. Took a couple days to show up. Kept asking for more & more money to remedy.
Exercise caution.

Denai Crawley oversaw my kitchen project to completion. He is very resourceful amd we met above and beyond to help me with my insurance claim. I am very grateful to his commitment to his work. He represents Rotorooter well!

Absolutely outrageous pricing. Was stuck in a hard place because my main line was leaking. He dug a hole and repaired a broken connector in like one hour. Spent most of his time running back and forth to home depot for parts and charged me $250 an hour. Then he charged me $240 to back fill the the hole which was like three shovels full of dirt. Never again. After all was said and done it cost us $1300. Amazing

I've been bamboozled!! The initial recon employee shows up to assess the problem. That person explained what a Terrible situation I was in and that digging in my concrete slab was definite due to an underground leak. Did not find a leak anywhere else in the wall or anything. Insisted a leak detection be done($750 just to show up). Leak detection shows up the next day and finds the leak in the wall due to a nail from the baseboards. In and out in 5 minutes. 750 out the window. I can fix a leak in the wall! The only reason leak detection showed up was because it was heavily advised by the initial employee. I was hussled!! Not only that, the leak detection gentlemen did not inspect the rest of my water line to ensure that was the only leak. They left immediately even after I insisted they stay and inspect the rest of the water line. No assurance that my water line is good aside from the wall leak. Now if my gut is right and it leaks again, another 750 to find the leak. That's how They get you. Albeit roto rooter showed up ready to fix the problem at a hefty price. I was not happy with how the situation was handled. Also, I would recommend them sending an invoice to the customer instead of charging customers at the door. No one wants to be served a bill like that. I'll never use roto rooter again. I recommend no one use roto rooter again. They will take advantage of your inexperience. Roto rooter as a business, is a loser.

If you have insurance that covers your plumbing be careful with these people. Called and had plumber from yuba city roto rooter come out, he was aware that we were using our insurance and he charged us 345$ , when I called my insurance company to have them reimburse me, they informed me the plumber never called to get the order code so they wouldn't cover the work. I called the office, a woman sounded surprised that he never called to get code and told me the plumber would call me. A week and a half later noone seems to know anything about it and no calls. I'll never use these people again. Said 99$ an hour. He was here less than an hour and charged 345$. RIP off.

I called roto rooter to go to my tenants house because they needed to have their pipes snaked. This was over Easter weekend and I was able to get them out there Sunday afternoon. The technician called me to let me know he could not find the main clean out after circling the house several times and did I know where it could be. When I told him that I was not sure where it was he said they would have to camera it to check for $325 and see if one was there before the put one in and then send somebody else out to work up a quote and then they could get around to getting my tenants water. The home owner then called the technician to let him know he was not go to pay for the camera and to just put a new clean out valve whether he could find the old one or not. He was also reminded that he didn't need a clean out and to just snack the drains in the house. The technition told me that this takes them longer so they prefer a clean out. He then told the home owner that there was no way he could get around cameraing it and having his supervisor come and work up a quote and they may be able to get out there by Friday to do the work. He was asked to leave the property and we called somebody else. When the next person got there on Monday the 2nd he found the main clean out Valve right by the front door. The rotor rooter technician had to walk past it to get in-and-out of the tenant house. I then called Roto Router on Tuesday April 2nd to speak to this technicians supervisor to let him know that there had been a problem and maybe he needed a little more training. By April 17th I still had not received a call from the supervisor. So I then called the office and asked to speak to the supervisor's supervisor. The lady in the office looked up the notes in my account and had seen where I had called asking to speak to the 1st supervisor and that he had not called me and she did it know why. They then in turn forwarded my information to the supervisor's supervisor and promised that he would give me a call the next day. Today is now April 27th and I still have not received a call from anybody At roto rooter to discuss the issues of what happened at my property. Every time I have called roto rooter to have them come and fix something the 1st thing they tell you is that they need to camera to get a better look and that somebody will go over the imagery and then work up a quote. Their technicians, I feel are paid on commission and the more money that they can steal from you and make you pay for unnecessary ""fixes"" the bigger bonus they get on their paycheck. Since this company was bought a couple of years ago their prices have more than doubled and the competence of their technicians has gone way down. If you were having any issues call anybody else.

Called roto rooter because our shower had a leak and was leaking into the wall. Charged me 235$ to cut a hole in my wall. Refused to even try to diagnose anything before cutting my wall. Was rude to my husband. Wanted to charge me 545$ to cut and replace pipe and a shower diverter. Paid him his 235 and told him to get the hell out of our house. Took a video of the problem and showed a real plumber and all that was needed was to replace the tub spout. Wanted to charge me for shit I didn't even need when my problem was fixed with a 25$ spout. Only good thing about this company is that I'm getting my money back after complaining about their customer service. I will never call them for anything ever again.

Too expensive. $185 just to look at the problem. If the snake didn't work the price was going to be $385 and up. Shop around.

Basically paid them $125.00 to glue an existing PVC piece and wait for it to dry in my sprinkler system. Plumber never checked all the sprinklers that were leaking....low and behold after the area dried out, I turned the sprinklers back on and I still have a leak. Another guy came out when I said they were still leaking, he didn't check the system. When I turned them on again, still leaking.... Now they want me to pay again to check or not check the leak????.....Terrible! I was also told to call a landscape company. Wish they would have told me they are not capable of fixing sprinkler system leaks. Would NOT recommend this company unless you want to pay and still have a leak! One star is too many for the service I received.
