My original call was to have salt water tank removed and I was talked into a Halo Ion water softener system. The representative was very nice made himself at home while explaining. The only thing I'll say is they over charge you for the labor ($1,150 for 45 minutes of work), a huge hole was left in my wall for removing a pipe, you won't get a itemized receipt, you have to call for the receipt, and you'll feel like you've been swindled out of your money. I was warned and didn't listen.

Came out spent 2 hrs in the backyard trying to fix my issue, didn't end up diagnosing the problem right and didn't have the equipment to fix the real problem but charged me a 125$ labor fee for attempting to fix my issue and left everything on my back patio for me to clean up!

Had work done at my house this week and NONE of the COVID-19 precautions listed in their statement were followed.

Upon arrival they rang the doorbell and did not step back to provide 6 feet of distance.

They did not wear mask or gloves when interacting with me.

They never called or used video to discuss or show me anything. Instead they rang the doorbell or knocked every time without allowing distance for safety.

Once the job was completed, I was given an overview of the work they'd done and recommendations with him standing a foot away from my front door, again, with no mask. I had to sign off on paperwork using a tablet and stylus pen that was handed back and forth.

I don't expect these guys to be wearing masks the entire time they're working outside, but IF you have to speak to me in person, wear protection. Not just for my sake but for yours and your family's as well.

I do appreciate the work they are doing and that they are still providing services, but it was honestly like any other day to these guys when we are in the middle of a pandemic. Not to mention, I have high risk family living with me. I'm really shocked that this company has such a nice-sounding covid safety guideines but the workers are not at all following them.

Had technician Eli service my relatives place and they were very pleased with his service. I've worked for plumbing companies in the past so they consulted with me after the job was done. I assured them the prices were fair and the work that Eli did was more than satisfactory. They said he was one of the friendliest servicemen they have ever met and that Eli was honest with what repairs needed to be made. I'm glad my relatives had Roto-Rooter take care of their plumbing issues instead of those shady plumbing companies I know about.

Got a wonderful surprise New Year's Day in the form of an overflowing toilet and ceiling leak in the garage. I called what I thought was a 24 hour emergency plumber to no avail. I called Roto Rooter the next morning and they were at my house in about 30 minutes, with a plumber and water mitigation team. Donald and David C. were so wonderful. I am sure they sensed my feelings of stress as I came to find out the extent of the damage. They assured me they would take care of everything and did not attempt to sell me unnecessary work. Being fathers themselves, they understood the need to get things done quickly, as I have my children. David C. worked so hard and got the ruined walls and carpet out quickly. He made sure to check on the situation daily and examine the progress that was being made. I highly recommend them!

On New Years Eve at about noon time i discovered my hot water heater in my manufactured home had a leak and had caused extensive damage. I tried calling other companies but no one would pick up the phone even though they claimed to be 24/7 service including holidays. Roto Rooter picked up and I advised I needed someone to come out and remove the water heater immediately so I could get the damage repaired and a new water heater Installed as quickly as possible. They sent a tech named Jorge Vallarta who arrived about 3 hours after my call. He said he was advised "" to look"" at my water heater. I told him NO I need this OUT today so I can get the water damage repaired and a new one installed immediately. I had told the scheduling lady this as well. I cannot wait days for someone to come back and remove it. He stayed and removed it even though it was New Year's Eve , 4 PM and he had 2 other calls after mine. This allowed me to get the water damage fixed that occurred in the water closet and flooring. He came back on Wednesday at the time he said he would and installed the new water heater. He was pleasant, helpful and efficient and went out of his way for us. I am giving 4 stars due to the price of the water heater. We are seniors and didn't have the option to ""shop around"" due to the situation. We took advantage of their 0% interest 18 months same as cash plan which was very helpful.

I called at 7am to schedule my appointment. My appt. was scheduled between 3-5pm. I waited and waited. No call! At 5pm I called and the lady was very rude stating that they only had one technician who was busy, but that I was still on the list. I called again at 7pm and again I was told the same thing. I finally get a call from the technician at 7:40pm saying that he was 30 minutes away or he could reschedule. RIDICULOUS! I hired another person to do the job!
