Roto Rooter- Robby White 909-397-0567 -Three days ago, Leo spent almost 5 hours here for a backed up bathroom. It cost me $498. This morning (3 days later) I started the washing machine and everything backed up again. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years, but never again. They better not try to charge me any more.
UPDATE They are now saying there is a broken valve somewhere, although no one told me that on Monday and it is not written on the project description. Also, the tech was 2 hours and 43 minutes late arriving here today. Still no resolution. DON'T call them. Ever.

Have never hired this guys and never will, just so that I don't put people in danger by having their drivers on the road!

DO NOT USE THEM!!! And if you do beware of the ""free"" camera inspection.

Had the shower and toilets back up on the Sunday before the 4th of July late in the afternoon. Theirs was the only name that came to mind so I called them. I was very patient with the delay in getting a technician out because of the date. When John arrived he was courteous and thorough in his work. He got the drains running again and as he was leaving scheduled a return visit with a camera technician. This is where the problem comes in and where you should beware. Jonathan (a different technician) shows up on the following Tuesday and runs the camera down my sewer line. Around 100 feet from the house there were some roots growing into the line and was half way blocking it. I repeatedly asked if they couldn't snake it again only to be told repeatedly I ran the risk of collapsing the line entirely and that would cost me $25,000 to repair!!!! Then he told me there was a cheaper alternative. For a mere $5,900 I could have it relined. See where this is going. Hit me with a huge price so the lower one seems reasonable. This would be fine except none of it is necessary. Thank goodness for the internet. A search through it and discussion with friends and it turns out if your line is running you can pour a chemical in that will kill the roots in the system. Once they decay in about 3 to 4 weeks they will wash away - problem solved. Did that last night. The chemicals cost me $25! I also learned in my internet search that the camera technicians are paid a commission for the work they bring in. Now it all makes sense.

If you use them be sure to get a second opinion before you lay down big bucks.

Roto Rooter Rocks! Called Diamond and 2 other plumbers on a Sunday to unclog a disgusting toilet... was told 24+ hours to wait. Called Roto and had an awesome serviceman (Rudy #73) show up and fix the problem within an hour. Thanks Rudy!

It would have been 5 stars but it cost $230. Pricey but necessary for my needs. At least there's a 10 day guarantee.

Horrible....I paid $229.50 with a 4 month warranty for Rotor Rooter to fix the 1st issue and he said he cleared it and the next day it didn't work. He came back and took 2 hours and got nothing resolved. Also left a mess in my bathroom. Then tried t o charge me $2500-$5000 to dig up the ground to find the problem. He didn't even put back the drain cover or anything. I am very disappointed. DO NOT USE THEM!!! I have a better plumber who is professional and quick. Try Tony's Rooter, Rowland Heights. Very affordable!!

There are few exceptions, when companies step up to make error's right . .this company stepped forward to make thing's right on behalf of the customer . I want to thank SHEILA for the quick 1st responce and for the personal contact to follow-up. * ( when was the last time a company called you to apologize and look into the matter .) Also ' to JERRY for the conversation in regards to the situation and his involvement in the resolution.
Thanks again for the excellent customer service ..

I think I am very satisfied. I'm certainly satisfied. The folks at RR stepped up and addressed my situation and did so in less than 36 hours. Well they could not fix my yard drainage issues they fully refunded my money, apologized for the confusion and provided a recommendation. I'm happy. Problem will arise and when companies address them timely and thoroughly you have to give them credit. Thank you.

$229.50 to snake a simple drain seems pretty pricy, especially since he was done in 30 min. Not to mention there are a ton of plumbers clearing drains for $50. Even the smell good guys only charge $99.

Stupid bunch! Got my order completely wrong. They guy came out in a 40 foot trailer truck to do a simple gas line extension and was told the order was for an external copper water line. He was very overweight and when he found out the job was a gas line which needed to go under the house, he back peddled in not doing it. He immediately said, ""You're not going to like the price"", when I questioned why, he said ""Because it's $250/hr and it would take two guys at $250/hr to install it. One under the house and one in the kitchen to pull the pipe through the floor. He estimate it would take 5 manhours to do and cost $1800. I immediately told him to get out! Found another plumbing contractor who did the job for $600 and a couple of other plumbing things as well. What a RIPE OFF this place is!!!!

Okay, so we had a little toilet overflowing issue this evening. We had our local handyman come by and try to help us and he said something is really jammed in there. We removed the toilet and realized that something was in the actual drain. I called Roto Rooter and they sent a plumber out to us. The told me 1-2 hours and it was about 1 hour (which really impressed me).

Now, we just re-did our bathroom floors last week. When the toilet was removed, part of the old toilet paper holder must have fell into the hole. This clogged the entire line and was wedged so tight that our entire plumbing system was compromised. We didn't know, but I did notice it was missing when we were looking for what possibly was stuck. This object was almost as big as the pipe and wasn't flushable.

Now, if we couldn't get this object out, we were looking at a couple of thousand dollars to dig up the drain (jack-hammer/digging/the whole 9 yards). This object was really wedged in there and my husband and I were panicking. Our plumber was fantastic. He stayed calm and worked his tail off to get the object flushed out.

If I ever have another plumbing issue again (and hopefully I never do), I am calling Roto-Rooter and requesting David Torres. He was AMAZING! He didn't give up. He knew that if he didn't get it out, we were looking at major plumbing work and because it was the main line, we wouldn't be able to use any of our toilets. He worked hard and got that object out! I am so impressed. He was honest and helpful, knowledgeable and calm. I will keep his card and call Roto-Rooter first if I ever have an issue again!
