I called them on Sunday in response to an emergency at my house, in which a pipe leading to my main line clogged, backing up sewage. They responded right away and arrived when they said they would. They were able to clear the line, run a camera through the system, etc. They did everything they said they were going to do. I was pleased with their work. Thank you

If I could give zero stars, I would! Tech came out to give me an estimate on a shower clog. $225!! Are you kidding me? Nothing died in there. Then he said he would super clean it for $275! Huh. Called the company back, and the dimwit that answered the phone said ""too bad"". Go elsewhere!

My job was done by Alfonso Martinez and Hydrojet part by Ismael. Both were very professional, nice and efficient. The job was expensive due to the amount of hours and equipment spent in clearing out the sewer line. Roto Rooter was my '3rd' opinion.' The first 2 misdiagnosed the problem, and the 2nd opinion would have cost us the same, however the second plumber diagnosed the problem as being 'under the crawl space' under the house saying the problem was not outside. Per Roto Rooter camera, the problem was outside beginning in front of our house. Thank you Alfonso for getting on the roof and using the camera to locate the problem and for all the hours spent in clearing out the roots and debris and for recommending hydrojet. While no one wants to spend money on a sewer line, peace of mind knowing that sludge and sewer water won't back up into bathroom again, made it worth the time and money. Problem solved.

This is all about charging big money and fabricating problems and issues you may not have. They went out of their way to take advantage of my 95 year old mother.
Do not use this company !

I have dealt with several different plumbing companies in the past and surprisingly this has been the best one! Chris Mendez came out to my house because my main line was backed up. I was waiting for him to upsell me something or to give me some outrageous number. He was polite, understanding and gave me a very decent estimate. Unlike other plumbing companies he understood that I wasn't a millionaire who had tons of money to spend, but he made sure that my problems was taken care of and with a reasonable price! I never once felt like he was trying to take advantage of me. I will now be a loyal customer and always ask for him!

Not sure this review goes to this roto-rooter company. The one I called was at 877-729-7686. They got here when 2 other companies could not. I give them a 3-star rating because they are pretty high priced. Most times I have paid about 100.00 to 150.00 to clear the main drain. They charged 275.00! But, they said they would be here in 2 hours, and they got here.

Work was done today Sept 9th, 2014. Very rarely do I take the time to write a review but I have to. Don't use this service.

All I can say is rep at the 800 number was nice. Though when the actual plumber arrived, he was rude and I sensed he did want to be there. Don't people enjoy their jobs any more? In any case, the job was done. Simple replacement of a faucet for the shower tub. One screw removal cost $300. They bill out $225/hour. So anything you have them do will cost you more than that.

The prices for these guys are outrageous. The customer service is horrible and therefore I had to write this review.

Don't use them unless you have a SERIOUS emergency. Otherwise, call around.

How do I give no stars? These guys are a rip off. I had them come to my house to inspect and clear a blockage in my main sewer line. They charged my $850 dollars and didn't even finish the job. Their whole tactic is the upsell. To finish the job they said they needed another $3400 and had to hand dig a section of the pipe under my house that would take two days.... an absolute lie. They said there wasn't a clean-out port on my sewer line... another lie. When I had another plumber come to the house he just laughed at what Roto Rooter had suggested. My new plumber charged me $600 and finished the job in about an hour. Do not call these liars under any circumstances.

I called super late like 11pm to schedule a next day appointment, the person on the phone was super friendly and helpful. She gave me an appointment for 8am the next morning. I got a courtesy call about an hour before from another friendly person my technician Bi arrived just after the hour. He was friendly and made it a point to take off his shoes without my having to ask! He was quick addressed the problem quickly and even waited for me to print out right coupon from the roto-rooter website. Pricing was a bit high but well worth the service, would rather pay a bit more to get something done right once. Will probably use them again if I have another plumbing need.

I had Roto Rooter come out and replace my water heater.It was Friday afternoon, so I failed to get another estimate, because i didn't want to go without hot water all weekend.

The heater started leaking almost immediately, so I had them come out again, but of course it wasn't leaking that day, so they didn't do anything. Then a valve at the front of the house started leaking. We were already dissatisfied with them, so we called another plumber, who told us we had a pressure problem, which Roto Rooter should've told us about, and that we needed an expansion tank. They also told us they would've charged less than a third of what Roto Rooter charged for the water heater.

I called Roto Rooter to fix the problem, but they said we needed a new pressure regulator, not an expansion tank. Meanwhile the toilet started spewing water constantly and the front valve continued to leak. The latest development is that a pipe has sprung a leak. I do not want Roto Rooter to come back to my house ever, even to fix what they messed up, so I am having the other plumber take care of it.

I estimate a loss of $5000 with all the wasted water.This doesn't even include the cost of fixing the broken pipe.
