You have the worst service ever. The customer service guy wouldn't give me an estimate. The time frame kept changing. When your guy finally got here almost 2 hours later, he quoted me $543 for a simple drain clean. Don't ever use this service!

Poor professionalism. The tech that came out to the property, unfortunately, was sloppy and didn't even bother to clean up after themselves. No update or call to let us know that he wasn't even able to complete the job. Simply got up and left.

10/10 service! I cannot thank Ricky and his team enough for their help today. What we thought was a backed up toilet, was actually a clogged sewer. Ricky quickly assessed the situation within minutes and knew exactly what to look for to determine the cause and how to solve it. Our water system in the toilets would run too low, and not flush completely, and Ricky knew exactly what needed to be done to get our system right. He and his team were professional, respectful of our home, and great to work with. We were updated about what they were working on, and the work was done efficiently in great timing! When you hear a clogged sewer is what you are up against, it can feel daunting or sound time consuming, but everything was done under an hour! This made calling for help a small portion of our day, instead of a major event. You guys helped us gain our sanity back from this issue, and now our toilets and system is running so smoothly and like new! The knowledgeable expertise of the team, their amazing attitude, and efficiency reaffirmed we made the best choice in calling these guys! The job will be done right, sufficiently, and with years backed knowledge so you know you're in good hands. Your home and pipes will thank you.

Our sewer line backed-up on a Sunday afternoon on a holiday weekend. After calling 5+ plumbers listed in our neighborhood associations recommended list, Roto-Rooter was the only one with available technicians. They arrived ~ 75 min after my call. They are well equipped for rooting lines, with quality well maintained rooters, and the technician (David) was very capable and pleasant to work with. He also helped me assess where in the line the back up was happening. I can recommend Roto-Rooter without hesitation for this type of project.

Rip-off, minimum charge for clearing kitchen drain $500! It's not rocket science and rooter equipment old and broke in pipe. Get service elsewhere!!!!

I called Roto-Rooter to clean our main sewer line. They came and wanted a price almost 3 times what I had paid a plumber two years previously. I told them I wasn't interested, but then they bargained me down to a price a little over what I had paid the other plumber.

A little over a week later the sewer overflowed again. I called Roto-Rooter and the man said, sorry no guarantee, that was a special one-time price and now you have to pay the full price. But they had NOT finished the previous job that I paid them for!

So instead I went to the previous plumber. They found a huge section of roots that Roto-Rooter missed. I was ripped off by Roto-Rooter. Hundreds of dollars literally down the drain. I would never use them again. Call your actual local plumber instead!

And BTW I rarely post negative reviews. But this was egregious!

NOTE: After I posted this review, Roto-Rooter called me and discussed the issue, then sent me a refund for my payment.

I will summarize this by saying I feel that I was mislead and provided with false information. I felt pressured to sign documents and agree to have work done that was not warranted nor necessary. I do not believe that Roto Rooter representatives should be in the business of telling customers that they need to file an insurance claim. I was told that I ""MUST"" sign documents authorizing Roto Rooter to contact my insurance company AND receive direct payments from my insurance company. I was advised that Roto Rooter could not help me with a plumbing problem until I signed these documents which turned out to be false. Needless to say I refused to sign any of these documents and asked them to immediately remove their equipment and get out. I feel that everything I was told by the field supervisor was intentionally misleading with the intent to charge me as much as possible and to fraudulently obtain payment(s) from my insurance company. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Department of Consumer Affairs. The behavior of the representatives with his company is outrageous and unethical. As a customer of more than 50 years I have never been treated this way. I even received a text message from a supervisor wherein he accused me of lying when I confronted him about what I had been told. I would add, I saved the text message as proof of his outrageous accusation. I will never use this company again. Beware!!!
