DJ and his crew came out to tackle a really tricky issue where some old extremely scaled pipes were not connecting well with new pipes in part of the house that was remodeled. They diagnosed and solved the problem super quickly and efficiently. 4 years worth of plumbing problems solved in 4 hours. They also included a solid warranty on future issues with the sewer, which ups the value of the deal. Really appreciate them.

THIEVES ANS AMBULANCE CHASERS! We noticed a leak in our ceiling under our upstairs toilet. From everything we read we were pretty sure it was the wax seal. Couldn't get a hold of our regular plumber so we call Roto-Rooter. What a mistake. When the plumber shows up he says that water remediation guy is right behind him if we want him to come take a look. Before we have a chance to say yes he's already in our living room taking ""measurements"" with his thermal scanner. Guess what? The ceiling is wet. Shocking! /s. He wanted to charge between 1500 and 5500 to tear off dry wall and dry the area out. Wanted us to immediately file a claim with our homeowners insurance. What a joke. We said we'll get back to you.

Now to the plumber. We were ready to pay his outrageous fee to replace the wax seal, but he got greedy and said we need a new pipe. He made this claim without even seeing the old one. To make matters worse, he flushed twice causing water to soak through the ceiling even more.

The next day we had our regular handyman come out and cut the dry wall from our ceiling(took him 20 minutes). Day after that our usual plumber came by and said pipe looks fine and the only issue was the wax seal and there was a clog in the pipe. He unclogged the toilet and replaced the wax seal and we have no issues.

The pricing is outrageous. For two upstairs showers to be snaked out it was over $650. Technician was here 1/2 hour. Will not use them again

The absolute WORST experience EVER. I have left complaints everywhere I can to try and warn people this company scammed me so hard. They were at my house for over 6 hours and my plumbing was completely backed up within 12 hours after they left AND they charged me over $700 for NOTHING. I had to hire a different company to come out and fix the problem which ended up taking less than 20 minutes and only cost $140 dollars to actually resolve the issue. I tried calling roto rooter to explain and get even some of my money back, I am a single mom and money is tight. So a partial refund would have been great to help pay for the other company I had to hire to actually help me. The guy I got on the phone with literally said to me I do not deserve a refund. The fact that they did nothing except try to give me a lesson in how plumbing works, and tell me the reason the charge is valid, has nothing to do with whether they fixed it or not, apparently that is irrelative, it was, as they said, because I don't really understand plumbing. I DON""T need to understand how to be a plumber... that is why I hired them in the first place. What i do know, (and it doesn't take a plumber to know this) is that when they left my plumbing was backed up again within 12 hours, NOT FIXED. When the other plumbing company I hired 2 days later came out my plumbing has worked perfectly since. ( a total different company, that was wonderful by the way) and it doesnt take a plumber to know it was working. And still is to this day. After I left my first complaint some guy that works for roto rooter replied saying that he would like to help me resolve things etc and left me his email ( an employee of roto rooter) I emailed him and he NEVER replied. So even that was just for show. My assumption is this guy is on staff at roto rooter just to field the tons of complaints they get, and make it seem to others who check reviews, that they care and would do someting to help. Total sham. These are disgusing people and should be ashamed of themselves. It definitely makes sense that they have almost ALL 1-star reviews. Lesson learned. I should have looked first before hiring them, but if I can warn one other person I will be happy. Call ANY OTHER COMPANY!!! NEVER USE ROTO ROOTER!!!

Called them to have my kitchen drain cleaned. They came out and quoted me $460!!!!
Insane. Put out a request on Yelp and had 7 plumbers offering to do it for $99. I will never call them back. I advise you not to call them. If I could leave zero stars I would.
