Awful. The guy came out, just looked at the faucet. Opened nothing. And said ""the whole thing needs to be replaced."" Get outta here. We watched a YouTube video. My husband bought the part for $45. And we did it ourselves. Now our job was a very small one. Leaky faucet. So of course if it had been something major sure. But this guy said to replace the whole thing (which was not necessary) it would be $400 including labor. Seriously?!? And he could tell this by what? His x-ray vision?!? Stop.

They came out and stated we were missing the our front line access and that they needed to install one in place To get to our blockage. Upon opening the ground a bit they realized the access was there all along they were just looking for it in the wrong place. Surprising that with all the high-tech equipment they have... (which is why they say they charge a lot) they could not find it. They still went ahead and charged us $3500 and didn't install the new piece they said we needed installed, they just switched out the old one which was simple plastic one just so they could charge us when it was not needed since they found the original line and ""we were promised a metal with two access"". When I asked him to show proof of their work they said they would send it. It's been eight months and I'm still waiting. These guys are crooks look elsewhere and get a better quote. I asked other plumbers after the fact and was told this was a job that should not have cost us more than $700....since this was a rental and the people living in the property went ahead and hired them and reached out to us after they were hired to so we can pay the bill.

The service tech showed up for our free quote. He said he needed to check something outside so he walked out and never came back in. Haven't heard from them since. It's been 3 days. So weird. Would not recommend them based on very poor customer service.

Roto-Rooter ""technicians"", in my opinion, not only failed to remove the duct tape from four out of the five roof vents after attempting a (botched) smoke test, but the technician failed to seal the new toilet he installed with a bead of caulk at the toilet's base (which is required by plumbing civil code) after he installed it. How amateurish and unprofessional! I'm not holding my breath for satisfactory resolution. They will probably ignore me now that they have the money we paid for unsatisfactory service. This will not surprise me at all, nor will it tick me off. We're just many hundreds of dollars poorer for the experience.
The bathroom still smells of awful sewer gas odors at this time! This is what they were called to resolve in the first place! We are seeking other independent licensed and bonded master plumber professionals now to do what Roto-Rooter couldn't do.
We are disappointed with Roto-Rooter, and would not recommend any other prospective customers to avail themselves of their services under any circumstances whatsoever. Just say no! Don't make the same mistake for which we have already dearly paid, without satisfaction.
Roto-Rooter, it seems, was only too happy to take our money for services that failed to resolve the original problem for which their services were retained. That's life, I guess.
When you call to set up an appointment, be prepared to await a late arrival or a reschedule without communicating with you that there will be a delay in scheduled services. This happened to us and you should expect the same.

I called and they had someone out that day. Wonderful. They did their thing and said no blockage. Great. They suggested I use a camera when I asked their opinion on what else needed to be done. They charged me (yes I agreed prior) $550 just to use the camera. (I was unaware a lot of companies will do this for free as part of the estimate.) After using the camera, I was then told there was a blockage with roots pretty severe after my property line. That didn't make sense since I was told there was no blockage, but ok. I was quoted $4,500 to repair. Wow!
I asked why they charged $550 to use a camera (after being told on the phone with two others that it was way too much) and then said they would knock it off the estimate for repair IF I booked right then. That is quite a commitment for having been my first estimate. I decided to do my research, eat the $550, and get more quotes.
I was told by the technician he would send over details once he got back to the shop. I waited until the next day and I never received an email with a report of findings or the pictures I paid $550 for. I called twice. The first time I called, the representative that was supposed to pass on my message was very nice. I never received a call back or email. The second time I called, the representative interrupted me while I spoke and was rude. Again, I never received a call back or email.
So, needless to say I am beyond dissatisfied with my service. For something like this, you would think this company would understand how stressful this can be and do as they said. The fact that they have yet to send me what I need proves that I made the right decision to not commit to their services.

Had an appt .did not show up or call.had another co. Come.out.cancelld my appt. They could care less.

Their service is amazing. Yes, you get a poopy window and have to wait for your service tech but that's the norm in this business. I wish I could remember the names of the all the gentlemen who came to my house to give them a shout out but I don't. My address is 422 east E, I hope whomever is manning the yelp account can find out who they are because they definitely deserve it. From every phone call to walking me through the issues and to solve the problem they were amazing and made sure I understood what was going on.

I had a broken pvc pipe in my crawl space. It started bad when I was told there would be nobody to come till the next day at 9am. I than got a text message at 8:45 that the service tech. was on his way. It took an additional 2 hours till he finally arrived. After his inspection he gave me an estimate of 4 hrs and $400 for parts. That was upsetting because I knew a pvc pipe about 10feet would only be about $15 at most, and was shocked that a ""professional plumber"" would take 4 hours to replace the pipe. The total estimate came out to $1,275. Long story short I did it myself for $15 and it only took an unprofessional a half hr

Robert Q. and Lance visited my home this evening. Our ONLY toilet for 4 people was in TROUBLE!!!
These two gentlemen arrived much sooner than I anticipated! They presented themselves with professionalism and courtesy. Their knowledge for a new home owner was exceptional.
Long story short, Robert and Lance were quick to teach an inform me. We're I ever to give anyone the drain specialist award, on this occasion it will be these two professionals.
Thank you!

Thomas was great! He was very polite and professional. He took the time to explain things to me. He did t have the correct part since it was late at night, but was able to find one that fit and explained everything to me so I could fix the rest of it later.
