Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Don't use Roto Rooter. Called for soft blockage in sewer. The service person was done in 1/2 hour. The bill was almost $700. They want payment at time of service. There was an additional charge for product that I was told was free. Spoke to a manager who was going to check into service charges and never heard back. It's been three weeks.

On 11/26/2022 Anthony from roto rooter came to our home to install pipes under our kitchen sink and sold us a product to put in our plumbing pipes to help flush our lines. The product was $110.57. Total charges were $788.55 for parts labor and the product. Anthony said he did not have not have the product on his truck but would bring the product to us on Tuesday. He never showed, we have called 4x to the office and no one has called back. We called last 12-16-22 to schedule another on-site service in hopes of resolving the issue and were told someone would be out 12-26-22 between 8-12pm. Still no one has shown. Worse still the pipe installed leaked because the connector from the disposal did not have a gasket so now our wood floor is warped. I would at least like the product we purchased dropped off or some one to answer my calls as I have left voice mails offering to pickup the product in person.

Mainline sewer backed up overnight and flooded the basement. Called Roto-rooter and they sent a lady to look at the blockage who seemed to only want to quote me restoration prices and told me a tech would be out soon. The tech from Roto-rooter arrives but he's just a plumber and doesn't actually have a Roto-rooter to unclog the drain. I called the emergency number at 6am was given an 8-12 window for someone to help and by 1pm still had no help but was told I would have to wait for some from Roto-rooter who actually has a Roto-rooter and it would cost me $450. Called Colorado Sewer and they sent someone in 30 minutes and charged me $200 and had the job done in 30 minutes.

Do not recommend. They were overpriced and not very good at the job. Took him forever to snake the pipe and then told me I was lucky he stayed and got the job done. Go elsewhere.

Don't ever go to them they over charge for everything and the reason they do it's because they get commissions for the services they provide. They installed a water heater for more than $5000 where you can easily get if done for $2500-3500. The manager is the worst bad customer service and unprofessional. I tried to come up with an agreement and he was just a complete A$&@. I wish they could be more honest with the services they provide.

Encountered emergency plumbing issues and called Roto-Rooter on Tuesday. Explained my plumbing concerns, including concerns of possible leaks behind the wall. Connie offered to have a water restoration technician come out to assess for water damage, FREE of charge! I accepted, and a pleasant technician (Sebastian Gonzales) came out; however, was unable to complete the assessment due to his inability to fit into my tight crawl space entrance. He confirmed the service was FREE and explained he would inform Roto Rooter to send another technician whose size would allow him to fit into the crawl space. We rescheduled.

After scheduling and rescheduling for Saturday, I was assured again that the water damage assessment was FREE, yet Roto-Rooter couldn't offer me a time or window for the arrival of the technician, only a text message on Friday morning informing me that a technician would be arriving on Saturday. Received a 10:37a text on Saturday informing me that David is ""on the way."" After a day of preparing for the crawl space entrance, David called and refused to perform the water damage assessment unless I paid $150 plus. I informed him the service is FREE, yet he curtly and rudely interrupted and demanded that I pay $150 plus per his manager. I refused and in asking to speak to the manager he continued to demand payment and stated his manager would call back ""sometime later today."" Anna Teresa called multiple times then finally, stated I would need to pay $150 plus, per the branch manager.

Thank God Janet Villafan stepped in on Monday to inform me that the water damage assessment was indeed FREE and to apologize for the misinformation and inconvenience that I experienced. She was awesome and incredibly competent!! She gave me an appointment window & scheduled for water restoration technician Reginald Jones to come out, which was a pleasant experience in comparison to David's behavior. Reginald was competent, professional and pleasant from the moment he exited his truck. He shared pictures of my crawl space and thoroughly explained his process and what I was viewing. Thanks Janet and Reginald for turning around an unpleasant experience.

I had an issue with a toilet spraying water. Tech came out to look at it, was very unspecific and dodgy in stating what the issue is. He was there for an hour and charged over $400, without even fixing the problem (he tightened some screws and turned the water off). Now, I cannot reach anyone to even get a receipt/the statement of the work done. Incredibly scammy, do NOT hire.

My bathtub drain was clogged and Roto Rooter came out immediately and dealt with the problem. I recommend them as they are convenient and affordable.

Dont waste your time. I scheduled an appoitment 3 days out and they never showed up. They didnt bother calling until i reached out to them first.

Made an appointment for leaking pipes had to wait 2 days for someone to be able to come out. Called to verify, was informed they had tried to call me to cancel said appointment, Never received call, pipes still leaking sub-floor, will now have to be replaced. Would not EVER recommend using this company to anyone and will be posting this anywhere I can.
