After scheduling an appointment 2 days in advance, the technician did not show up during the 2 hour window. No phone call, no text, no show. I called to find out when I could expect them. I was told that they could not tell me, but the dispatcher would call me shortly. 4 hours later, I called again, I was told exactly the same thing. At this point I started calling other plumbers. I was able to have another plumber onsite and starting the work before RotoRooter called back to tell me a technician was still not available -- the only consolation I was given was that my job was put expedite -- 6 hours after the scheduled appointment.

When the technician finally called, I told him that I no longer needed their service -- freeing up the time for someone else that they disappointed today.

Would not recommend and will never use RotoRooter.

I am so grateful for the skill, professionalism and can-do attitude of the plumber (Anthony) who helped us tonight. I called after 5pm with a problem with an uncommon - hard to find replacements - faucet. When the part could not be found easily, our amazing plumber and his supervisor searched the Valley - including specialty stores UNTIL THEY LOCATED THE PART. If not for their tenacity, we would have either had to waste thousands of gallons of water due to a leak or turn off all of the water to the our home for at least a WEEK because that is how long it was going to take for the big box stores or Amazon to get the part in. I have lived in the Valley for 25 years and this is the highest quality, most skilled, hardest working plumber and supervisor ever. Feel SO grateful! Highly recommend.

Unbelievable:- They Walked off the job with their equipment still in our blocked kitchen drain:-
Roto Rooter corporate store Glendale AZ, arrived three hours late from schedule appointment to unblock a condominium kitchen sink.
Within 15 minutes they got their snake stuck in the pipeline 60 feet in. Could not get it out, said they'd come back the next day to extract it.
Instead, they walked off the job, leaving the snake in the pipeline, attached to their equipment on the kitchen floor. Their snake also interfering with condominium units below mine. Days later They gave me a paper to sign, absolving them of any responsibility for removal of the snake, six month warranty but with the snake still in the BLOCKED pipeline.
Unbelievable & Totally unacceptable & our HOA is furious with this company behavior.
Hired a different plumbing company who extracted the snake and cleared the blockage. Passed their bill onto Roto Rooter Glendale who NOW say I have to wait eight to twelve weeks to get reimbursed for their incompetence. Roto Rooter General Manager Ken Snyder declined to respond to my calls as I look for an explanation of this outrageous business practice & behavior. Both Our HOA and I have Black Listed this company from doing business in this community complex.

We had a blocked pipe running from the house to the street and tried to unblock it will a snake but could get past the block. We called Roto Rooter and they sent out Mason and Aolani the next day. I've never had to call Roto Rooter before so I wasn't sure what to expect but Mason did an amazing job breaking down our options and explaining the benefits of each service. Throughout the whole process, both Mason and Aolani were professional, friendly and gave great insights that we didn't know about our sewer system and ways to prevent this from happening again. What a phenomenal experience, even with the stress of a blocked pipe! I will DEFINITELY use Roto Rooter again (with four boys, I'm sure this won't be the last time!) and highly recommend them to anyone who may need their services. Thank you Mason and Aolani for your help and getting us back up and running!

They said they would be here 10-2 and got here at 6. It was dark. The snake they use as a policy doesn't have any end to it. Like a bare cable and came back saying it had dirt on it. There is no way he could have known where or if that was dirt. They have no way of knowing if they broke the pipe unless they put a camera through it at my cost. I feel like they should have tried it the correct way first. They claim if they break it, they are responsible for it but refuse to come back and look. You are much more likely to bust the pipe the way they did it using a cable with no spring end. The company washed their hands of us and left us with a bigger problem than we started with, and they expect payment. I would call a smaller company that cares about their customer the way a company once did. This place has no actual integrity and I still can't flush my toilettes. You would be better off with someone who is responsible if they break something at your home.

A toilet clog during a Memorial Day weekend party led to toilets and showers throughout the house backing up and filling with water and sewage... called roto rooter on actual Memorial Day bright and early. Another plumber we used in the past was closed for the holiday. Roto rooter was here within an hour!

Roto rooter cleared the clog, and we know we have very old cast iron pipes so we asked for the camera so we could get a better idea of what we are dealing with in our 1970's home- how soon will we need to line or replace our old pipes, etc.

Quinton was very nice and efficient and clear. He also brought his supervisor Mike to use the camera. Both men- Mike and Quinton- were so very nice and friendly. They even found the drain clean outs that we didn't think our old house had!

It is rare these days to get good service with a smile. I am a happy customer.

Also their price was comparable to other plumbers we have used for similar problems. Whole thing with two toilet removals, snaking, camera, etc was $900 and they were here from 10am to 3pm doing everything right.

Our water pressure was low and we realized an exterior faucet was leaking. So we called Roto Rooter, the 2nd time in several months. They sent out Erick, a technician, who couldn't figure out what to do, so he called in a backup. 5 hours later (plus one additional helper), the two installed a new exterior faucet and reset our pressure valve, and handed me a bill for $2,694.74. Of that, $2,400 was labor. I should have refused to pay, but I was an idiot. And sure enough, after three weeks our water pressure was back to its previous cruddy level. RR sent out another technician, who said the pressure indicator showed everything was fine. He promised to come back the next day and monitor the meter in the morning, when the problem typically occurred. He never returned. We then called the City of Scottsdale who sent out a water specialist immediately. He solved the mystery in 5 minutes, realizing it was our water softener. Problem fixed. I am incensed that Roto Rooter would charge this exorbitant rate ($480 an hour!) and not fix the issue. It is apparently one of the most basic water problems seen in Arizona. They seem like a reliable and well-priced service, but in fact they are the worst home repair company I have dealt with in our 10 years in this home.

Was scheduled for a 10am-noon window. They texted me at 8am saying they were on their way. At 9am, they still weren't here. Finally showed up and then quoted me $380 to clear my kitchen drain line! Unbelievable; what a con job! NEGATIVE FIVE STARS!!! Pathetic.
