We had an awful experience with Roto-Rooter Plumbing and its technician Jesus.

Our shower knob broke off during the final inspection for the new home owners. We called in for an emergency tech to come out. We live in Gilbert now so we were promised Jesus would arrive in one hour since we were also about an hour away. We arrived at 12:00pm and there was no sign of Jesus. We called in at 12:15pm to the front office and were promised Jesus would call us in 3 minutes. 12:40pm came by and Jesus didn't call so we had to call back to the office. We were able to get connected with him and asked him where he was. His response was ""I got held back and entertained at the office, I haven't left yet."" We asked how far he would be and he said ""An hour and 45 minutes."" We told him we need him there now. That we called in for an emergency for a reason. His response was very rude and he said ""Well if you really need someone cancel and go with another company. I'm not going to kill my back over it."" We asked to talk to his manager and he said ""Call the front office and cancel it for all I care. It's not my problem.""

We canceled the emergency appointment and called Kooline Plumbing. They arrived in less than 10 minutes and fixed our issue.

We are very disappointed by Roto-Rooter and its technicians they hire. We were willing to pay Jesus and the company was disgusting and rude and there is a horrible lack of communication.

We will never again give Roto-Rooter a chance and definitely don't recommend ever going with them.

I recently requested a phone quote for services from the Roto-Rooter company in Chandler. I was told that they did not do phone quotes and that they would send a person out to do a free quote for services. Subsequently, a very large, angry looking man arrived (Mason). He gave extremely high quotes ie: $710.00 to install a toilet I had already purchased {installation only, ) with an additional charge to haul away the old toilet, and $350.00 to repair a single leaky faucet in the bathroom. He left in a snit when I didn't agree to hire him on the spot. A very scary and unprofessional experience, especially for a single, elderly woman. Needless to say, I will not be dealing with this company again, nor can I recommend them to anyone else.
