I looked in the yellow pages and googled plumbers in Ellensburg, Wa. I called Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain 305 N Ruby Street Ellensburg Wa.
The lady on the phone was very friendly. Two guys showed up. They replaced the heating elements in my hot water tank and replaced the rubber flapper in my toilet. This work cost me $810.00. The service was fine but I think $650.00 labor for 1 plumber and an apprentice for 2 hours is way to much. But I find out they are not from Ellensburg at all. They told me they had come from Yakima. I said I made sure I called an Ellensburg address because I was 16 miles north of Ellensburg. I was told it was no big deal that they had just left a call in Cle Elum. So I have to assume that the people in Cle Elum and I were both charged for travel time from Yakima. Either that or I was charged $325.00 an hour for service. You can decide for yourself but with this post you will at least know what to expect.

NOT a good experience at all.
I went on line and scheduled an appt for Aug 11, 2018. When the technician didn't arrive during scheduled time, I thought ""no biggie, something must of happened. Maybe I didn't complete the steps of something."" So I called and set up appointment for Aug. 18, 2018, hoping it would be guaranteed I could get my bathroom fixed. I was told there would be a $49.95 travel charge and the tech would be here between 9 and 11.
Eleven o'clock comes and goes, and I haven't heard anything, so I call them. I was told that someone was supposed to contact me because they needed approval for overtime charges!?!? What? That is why I scheduled on Sat. because it was stated to me it was straight time? Oh they meant the travel charge of $74.83?!?!?! I said, wait I was told previously that it was 49.95. I was then told they could give me a 10% discount but the travel charge would be $74.83. Fine whatever, I need the bathroom fixed. Right?
So 2:15 rolls around and I get a call stating the tech can't be here until later and that it would be overtime hours! When my appt was for 9 to 11. Two wasted Saturdays waiting for a plumber, and the bathroom is still broken. NO THANK YOU. I am starting to feel a little set up. I will find another company that is straight with me. This is my first and last experience with Roto Rooter.
I am New to Ellensburg area so I am looking for a respected plumber for my bathroom.

We have been customers of Roto-Rooter for a long time. From the very courteous scheduler lady to the Plumbers each is a true professional. Our last job was part of a remodel that required tile cutting, refitting and seating a toilet. We have been lucky enough to have had Kevin assigned to our jobs. We were amazed that he never batted an eye as the difficulty of the job grew and grew. He did everything he needed to do and we are so very satisfied with the job, the cleanup and the great individual. Prices are always at or below bid. It is really excellent to have a reliable company we can trust completely.

Best offer for drain clean outs. They were able to extract a screwdriver that my son threw down the toilet drain while doing a bathroom remodel in a timely fashion. Very impressed with their work and ability to get there so fast.

Cisco and Brandon tackled my clogged main sewer line. They had positive determination and speedily worked on it from the basement access point until they cleared a web of tree roots over 120 feet way that had entered the sewer pipe at the curb and spread to under the street. They are very professional young men.

Used Rotorooter in Clearwater Florida and they were great. Keli spent 4 hours of a Saturday night fixing the problem and was very accommodating and courteous. The dispatcher wanted him to reschedule us and go to another job but we explained that we had to return to the east coast of Florida the next morning to take care of a house that was effected by Hurricane Matthew. Keli stayed and got the issue taken care of by bringing in another tech with a camera to find the clog in the line. Getting that kind of service on a weekend at a reasonable cost is very, very appreciated. I had used Rotorooter before in two other states with the same good results.

Super fast response. Had a pipe leak in well house. They were here in less than hour and a half and fixed problem in less than half hour. Service person friendly and super efficient. If we ever have need again, they are on quick dial.

I have to say that ive been in contact with Tim and good to his word he made everything right. The person who origionaly came out is no longer with the company. Tim sent one of his long time employees out to finish the job. Tim stopped by my home and I have to say hes just a good old boy who loves his job and his customers. I doubt ill ever have a problem thats not fixed with Rooter Roter as long as Tims running the company. He will always go the extra mile to make sure the cusomer is taken care of... thanks again Tim.
