I called them as my drains in my bar were backing up (but not my kitchen). After a few tries at snaking it the guy looked at my grease trap and told me that was why they were backed up. I tried to explain to him that i was pretty sure my kitchen was hooked up to my grease trap but not my bar drains (i had talked to the maintenance guys on property and the other bar owners) and we all tried explaining to him that it was a different set up but he refused to hear me, charged me and that was that. The next day i had someone (not a plumber) come spend a little more time snaking it and they cleared everything! Amazing how someone who is supposed to work for a reputable company and be a licensed plumber has no idea what he's talking about but everyone else around understood and we're able to fix the issue FOR FREE! Very disappointed, will never call them again.

we called Roto Rooter, who said they would be here about 9am or so, and he would call first. Jessie Fisher of Roto Rooter called at 8am, came at 9am. the job was to locate our cesspool. he located it in 5 minutes. Jessie then said, since I am paying for the agreed upon minimum charge of an hour, he might as well go dig to find the cesspool, which was buried in 2-3 ft of soil. he found and uncovered the cesspool. I have never written a review before, but thought I had to write a review of such excellent above the call service. I highly recommend Jessie. Myles K. in Kula Maui

We had a main line back up which caused our house to flood with sewage. Our plummer Ryan Beverage came out quickly on a Sunday for emergency service. He was awesome, fast and a great plumber! He even spent time writing out a detailed report just the way the insurance company needed it and made filing the insurance claim much much easier than it could have been. He also referred us to a great restoration specialist. I would absolutely recommend their services and if you have the pleasure of getting Ryan as your plummer I'm positive you will be completely happy!

Called them to inspect the fill height of our cesspool to determine if pumping was needed. Cesspool located in Makawao and they were readily available and coordinated to have this service provided on the same day for $85. Joyce serviced me on the phone and I provided her the property address to be serviced and billing address for billing purposes. She consulted w/her husband Drew in the background to provide a time that they could have a technician go out to do the work. Their technician arrived, provided the service, and in less than 30 minutes it was done. They did not send us the bill to the address I provided them with, but sent it to the property address. I called in to their office the following week after not receiving a bill from them & spoke to Ayson. He collected the billing address information from me again in order to re-send the bill.

When you look for a plumber, you're hoping to find someone who is honest, straightforward, and ready to get the job done. Our experience here was none of those things. Our faucet was broken so we tried this place. Right from the start, the repairman's attitude was like he couldn't care less. Absolutely no sense of urgency, like he was trying to drag out the job. When asked for an estimate, he gave a vague answer and avoided giving an actual price. After replacing the faucet (that was the entire job), our total came to $470. The hourly rate was ~$220. Wow. Did I hire a plumber or a lawyer? Then he told us the cost of the replacement faucet was $230. When we asked to see an invoice for the part, he couldn't provide one. Something about how parts are purchased ""through their system"", so no invoice. All in all, we came out of this experience feeling completely ripped off and unhappy. TL;DR: Shady place. Take your business elsewhere.

Great company to work with! We had an issue with our rental property toilet and it was important to our tenants to get this handled ASAP. They sent a technician out to our property who was not only polite but professional & knowledgeable. After his inspection he let us know the issue fell on the county side, and took it upon himself to call the county, explain the situation and schedule them to come out and repair (showed up same day!)... at no cost to us. I truly appreciate his honestly and expertise to know how to handle our situation. The service fee we paid was so minimal for the service he provided. Very grateful to this company for their true aloha spirit. Will definitely be using them again in the future and recommending them to others!

These guys are completely incompetent! Could not fix a simple drain clog even after 4 hours of work. Then tried to charge us $200/hr for their effort. Called another plumber had the clog cleared in less than 30 Mins. Save your Money - Don't call these guys!!

This past Sunday my main line backed up into my bathroom and we all know Sunday is probably the worst time to have a severe plumbing issue. We called Roto-Rooter in Kahului because of name familiarity and, to their credit, they showed up within a couple hours. After 3 hours and 3 tries with his snake, the main line blockage was still uncleared. Only after failing 3 times was I advised the problem could be a full cesspool or rust scaling in the old galvanized piping which required an additional $600 Hydro Jet cleaning. I should have been advised of the multiple possible causes before he racked up 3 hours in charges at $250 per hour. Perhaps feeling bad, the technician only charged for 2 hours but that still came out to $518.23. (Do Doctors get paid that much?) On Monday, the next day, having more time to call around, I found another company who showed up that same day, cleared the line with his snake within an hour and charged me, with my senior's discount, $98.43. Interesting side note. I also spoke to a couple of people who moaned when I explained having used Roto-Rooter. Apparently, their reputation on the island appears to be growing in the worst way. Thank goodness I didn't fall for the Hydro Jet cleaning pitch. I know a severe plumbing emergency creates a stressful time sensitive problem but please call around first folks!! Don't trust a company simply by it's name.
