I wouldn't recommend this particular Roto Rooter location to anyone, it's been a total nightmare. If any of the staff are reading this, I hope you are proud of yourselves for STEALING our hard-earned money to the tune of $479.61. I would give this business ZERO out of five stars if possible. Our hot water heater was not working properly but we could push the reset button and it would heat up fine. We knew the upper thermostat needed to be replaced. We called this local Roto-Rooter office to do the job. They technician recommended a rebuild (versus getting a new hot water heater) and it cost us $479.61. The night after the rebuild - no hot water again. The next morning when I called they claimed they couldn't come out that day since we still had hot water. They came almost 2 hours late the next day, making me late for work. The following day the hot water was out again. Wouldn't do anything over the weekend while we were without hot water. Said a manager would call Monday morning. I called them at 9:45 and 11:45 and was told the manager still wasn't in and there was no way to contact her. I asked for the owner and was told he couldn't be contacted. He finally called my husband at 3pm. We have been out of hot water 5 of the past 7 days AFTER spending $480, they say we need a new hot water heater. We checked around for prices and they wouldn't even MATCH the installation price of their competitors. Still wanted to charge us over $300 for installation, plus permit, plus price of a new water heater!! This is the short version. I am absolutely sickened by this location's lack of customer service. I am NOT the kind to go after a company, but they have crossed the line with their TOTAL LACK of concern for my family and my money. I have had to boil water on the stove for my family to take baths, in addition to all of the phone calls to them and now to other places trying to get pricing on actually fixing the problem. I hope to save others from throwing their money out the window and the trouble of dealing with this place.

Always avoid them, they will add on unnecessary work to be done to make the bill higher and higher. Now they are resorting to fake reviews of their service to make themselves look reliable. They are the business that you will only do business with one time .Learn from me, avoid them always.

T'was the night before the Christmas Party. All the toilets, sinks, tubs and showers were backed up. The floors were damp from the overflow. The home remedies were nix and inhabitants had to go. The plumbers were all tied up, It was the weekend you see. They said, """"please don't bother me. I'm sick at home, I don't care if you have to pee."""" So finally, RotoRooter was called. The responded quickly in an hour or so. They arrived with equipment sophisticated and technical. A fancy plunger, a snake and that's almost all. They did have a camera that could peak inside all drains and pipes. The serviceman could scout out the blockage in all the drains outside and in. He confirmed the prognosis with that camera and light. I was relieved that we'd called him before it was night. When what to our wondering ears should we hear, The sound of toilets flushing- Not so fast my dear. Please don't be rushing. Do you want to hear the good new or bad? He told us the results, """"they're good."""" Now he wants us to pay the price, that lad. Now we've gone from happy to sad. But wait that's not all, It was Chris who appeared at the door, Number 82. We couldn't be more, satisfied with his service, Reassuring us more, he mentioned more. A 30 day guarantee and sewage issues sloved and drains would not back up anymore. As I heard him explain as he drove out of sight, """"Merry Christmas to you both, Now I'm going home, goodnight!""""

We called roto rooter on a monday evening to get someone out early on tuesday, they gave me a time frame of between 8 and 10am, and Rolando showed up at 845, and got straight to work trying to figure out the problem. He found out what the issue was, and fixed it with my permission and a reasonable quote, was done in just a few hours! Super impressed with how fast and professional he was! Thanks Rolando and Roto Rooter!

I would no longer recommend this Roto Rooter franchise. The new owner has raised prices dramatically. It was $373 to clear a non-emergency slow moving kitchen drain. You don't get the actual cost till they show up, but then you are stuck paying the $85 non-refundable service fee. There are many local plumbers, such as Gillum-Waddell that will be less than half the price. The only bright spot was the service technician, Tyler. He did a good job.

We've had Roto Rooter taking care of our plumbing for the past six years. We've had them out several times a year to fix the same plumbing problem. After several years of issues we paid to have the """"line replaced"""" so it would solve the problem. A little over a year later we're having the same plumbing problems. Last month we had the same plumbing issue with sewage coming up into our tubs and showers. The tech told us that the line still had a ring of grease in it and that they don't actually repair the problem, they just poke a hole in the clogged area and that if I wanted a permanent fix it would be another $750 plus to repair it. Even though we just spent thousands of dollars with them the previous year to """"fix the problem."""" Now they say since it was 7 Days past the 30 day guarantee they would charge us another $400 to come out again for """"fixing"""" the same problem. I told her (Krystal) that this was no way to take care of customers especially since we've spent so much money with them over the past several years. Even after speaking to management they said that we would have to pay again to clear the line but should have it """"jet flushed"""" in order to fix the problem. I told her that if they weren't going to take care of their customers, I would share everything on social media and let the customers know that Roto Rooter does not care about them, only about making more money. Vote with your dollars and use another plumbing company.

I called Roto-Rooter to snake a blockage in a drain line. The technician was at my house for 4 hours and only made the problem worse. He was trying to sell me a service for $1600 that would POSSIBLY unclog the pipe. At the end of the day I paid $500 for an even more clogged drain. Two days later Richard Fox Plumbing came and unclogged it in 30 minutes and charged me $250. I would not recommend Roto-Rooter. It seems that all they care about is upselling you for things you do not need.

Jayden was not clear about toilet drain clog costing me $400. He said he'd look at it and when I came back outside he said he'd fixed it. I said how much and he said 399 but I have a 20$ coupon for you. He spent more time writing my invoice than he did working the drain. When I originally called, I said it was a toilet clog and he charged me to clean the drain from the outside. He told me he didn't have the tools to go into the toilet. Either way, I feel bamboozled and I do not recommend this company. I called and asked the owners to call me and they never did. Times are tough and ripping people off who work hard for their money is unethical and unAmerican. I was really disappointed. Sad world now days.
