They came out to fix a pinhole leak. They fixed it. They also created two more leaks which they fixed at my expense. The plumber left and I checked my hot water and had none. Apparently, the hot water pump was damaged during the repairs. I called and spoke to a manager named, Chris and I explained it was working fine before their work and he said it was an old pump and my responsibility. He offered me a 15% discount on replacing the pump they broke. I said I would be going with someone else. So if you're looking for a plumber to come in and destroy your house and ask you to pay for it, these are your people!

Horrible company. Gave me a one hour window. Six hours later they never showed up. Nothing but excuses. Never do business with this company. They do not care about you or your time. Would give them a zero rating. Do not waste your time calling them.

I called Rotto-Rooter to fixed a leak under our bathroom sink. Mr. Gil Herrera, Technician look at the issue and recomended to replace the old compression valves. I asked to also please replace the hoses. Once completed, noted there was a another leak coming out of the faucet, so I asked him to please get a new one and have the whole thing replace. He proceeded to go to Home Depot and get it for me (I was not able to drive due to surgery). He completed the job satisfactorily. I'd like to add that the fact they use shoe protection and mask is greatly appreciated. Well done Gil, hope your Manager gets this message! The location on the card reads Corona CA so this is a big company fyi.

This is to get the word out to people who may encounter an accident with a Roto Rooter work truck. Be aware that it will take FOREVER to hear back from their insurance (I am still waiting), and they don't even provide the correct information on their insurance cards so they're practically impossible to contact.
I got rear ended last month and still have made no progress in my claim, their company has shown me how irresponsible they are and that I will never be using their services. My cracked bumper is still waiting to be fixed........

These guys have really gone down the drain. Called at 10pm to unplug toilet, they said they would have someone out within an hour. At 12:30 I called for an update because I had not heard from them. I was told that I was scheduled for the next morning! They offered no apology or explanation as to why I was told someone would be out within an hour, and now I was being told it would be 10 hours later. They could not have cared less! Until tonight I used these guys for years for our main house and for our rental property. I will never call them again, they apparently don't need my business so I will look for another company that does.

I'm furious. I asked for service on April 4 and they come out. Told them I got a clog in the main line and it's generally a root problem (I have a ficus tree in the front yard). They do their work and say it's not a root problem, but an issue with toilet paper. Told them if they could check the root and they said they did - line is clean. They charge me $300.

I start having plumbing issues again April 22. Call out another service (rooter ranger if anyone is curious) and they run the snake and pull out roots.

So here's the jist. I got charged $300 because roto rooter lied to me about checking the line and I still had the same plumbing issues weeks later. In this economy where people aren't working and plumbers just take your money? yeah, I'm angry about this whole thing.

The most important issue is that you will never find out the cost until the technician is on site. It is kept hidden. The technician is the ""only one with the sheet"". On line sign up does not give you a price. The web site does not give you a price. The person who calls to confirm you still want the service and how many minutes away is the technician will not give you the price. However confirm with them there is no service charge or inspection fee. Do not tell them you have a coupon (two were available on their site...$40 or $60. (Maybe, my cost was increased by the amount of coupon I told them I had?).The technician will walk the site and then he will ""refer to the sheet"". Stated it will be ""$299 for one hour"" ; you have to pay that even if he does not resolve the issue. He will repeat that several times and you will have to sign papers before he starts. If it is not fixed at one hour he will give you another additional cost ""from the sheet"".He will repeat that also. It was a clogged outside drain. (tree roots). I isolated it to one drain. He finished in under one hour.Checked my other outside drains. Professional. Cleaned up. Resolved the issue. The other ""$99"" to fix any drain companies do not do outside drains...Roto-Rooter was the only one listed that I could find that did outside drains. Cost was $299 - $60. If you get to see the ""sheet"" please post it for others to get educated on the costs for Roto- Rooter's services.

Called Rotorooter to clear an outdoor drain with roots. The technician Andrew did not know what he was doing. On top of that he was rude and somehow managed to have the cable make a hole in the dirt next to my driveway. He said it was due to roots. I later learned that he used the wrong cutter for removing roots. I called them back and requested the job be completed since I had already paid them. I explained what had happened and gave them the chance to complete the job properly. The technician who came today, Wesley looked puzzled when I showed him pictures of the cutters that were used yesterday. I asked him what cutter he would use today and they were the proper cutters. Rotorooter wanted to charge me again to finish a job that was not completed properly.
Rotorooter has been to my house on several other occasions in the past and did a great job. The technician who had been there before no longer works there.I now need to have a camera inserted into the drain pipes to asses the damage he caused AND still need to have the work completed. Rotorooter is aware that I was a multiple time repeat customer and could care less. all they care is about MONEY MONEY MONEY. AVOID THIS COMPANY! They cannot be trusted!!!

I've been so disappointed with previous plumbing experiences. I now know to call Roto Rooter for any plumbing service I may need. They stayed and worked until they fixed my problem..

Luis DeLeon has been excellent tp work with. Roto-Rooter stands behind their work. The Company did a no charge repair this week that took two men 3/4 of a day. They have always been able to explain the problems clearly and their information and quotes have been right on as we often get at least two estimates.
