They came out and fixed a spicket outside but the spicket lasted 2 days after warranty The piping they installed leaked through the wall in my garage (when I noticed the issue. Could have lasted less)and I paid over $500 to have it fixed. They wanted to charge me again to have them come look at their flawed work. Dont use them to fix anything in your house

Couldn't come out for two business days, then when their technician did come out, he couldn't do the work because he claimed he needed to bring in a 200 pound machine and this required two technicians, so this had to be rescheduled for two technicians. They wanted to charge me $660 to clear a toilet. I canceled the call.

I called another company that came out the same day, brought a smaller rooter machine, and cleared the toilet line for a whole lot less than Roto Router wanted to charge me. Oh, by the way, it was a one-man job for this company.

Called for an emergency service. I was told by their answering service that they don't service my area. I live 7 miles away. That's insane. Less then a 10min drive from their location.

After days of trying to unclog my sewer drain myself I decided to call the professionals! Roto-Rooter answered the call. From Kathy's customer service and help scheduling the appointment to Destin's professionalism, this was the best plumbing experience I have ever had! Destin arrived on time, worse booties when entering the home, and was able to diagnose and solve the problem swiftly. Sometimes do it yourself isn't the answer for plumbing issues. When it's not, Roto-Rooter of Johnson City is my recommendation!

We are now in day 2 of a business that literally runs on water. We are out THOUSANDS, still have no water and now we have to start the search again.

The service is horrible before the work even starts. Not sure why they have a high rating. Doing small business like this is unacceptable!!!!

****edit to respond to their answer on Google review.... No, you sent texts delaying. No calls, no actual communication until our employee called you. You were in the wrong and should just say you messed up and admit you provided bad service, not act like it was a mild situation. I will be sharing your lack of responsibility with others. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. I had used them for the last 8 years and when I called for repairs I always requested John because he was professional and always fixed any and all of my plumbing problems. I called last week ask if John was in and the man that answered their phone said this is John and told me he would meet me at the location of my property when he arrived I said I ask for John and him only due to past. Employees had no clue what they was doing. The appointment was set to meet at 11am four hours later a guy showed up and I stated I requested John he said he was John and I told him I knew better because I have had john always do my repairs he said o no i meant I am John's boss and I had to send him to do another job, the man was so impaired he could barely walk, he tracked mud through the home I had just replaced new carpet in had no professional entire on his pants literally was showing 3/4 of his butt, nasty clothes, talking and cussing on a cell phone. After two hours and him almost falling asleep in the bathroom floor trying to repair my sink. He tried charge me $550.00 but if I could pay him in cash he could give me a 25% discount, I replied I only have my check book and he stated I could make it out to him and i could still receive the discount I refused then he said I needed to make it payable to Buddys drain service. I ask him to leave my property he had not repaired my problem and now I have to pay to have new carpet cleaned, his rude behavior as well being 4 hours late to meet me had lied about his name by this point I felt he tried to have me fraudulently pay for a job that wasn't repaired due to him obviously not knowing how to do his job. I called the office to make a complaint and advise them he had to be impaired he had almost wrecked pulling out. I was spoken to badly when I call office so called the main cooperation to make a report. I ask if they could have John from the Johnson city Roto Rooter come to do my repairs. I was then advised that they longer had a employee John working in the Johnson office. These individuals working for the Johnson city Roto rooter my opinion is they are unhonest and unable to repair any plumbing problems they have not a clue as to what they are doing. I give no star

My mother hired RotoRooter of Johnson City to repair a toilet failure during our visit. When I say toilet failure, I mean the toilet needed entire replacement, we had no toilet in 1 of 2 bathrooms during a family visit. The plumber arrived, diagnosed the need for an entire toilet replacement, and indicated he would arrive at 10am the next business day with the toilet for replacement. My husband called hourly beginning at 12 noon the designated appointment day, he was told by the dispatcher that he didn't know what was going on because the plumber wasn't answering his radio. At close of business the appointment day, we gave up, called Roto Rooter of Johnson City and told them not to send the plumber because we gave up on him showing. We have since hired another plumber. I am leaving zero stars for this review, for the lack of service as well as the lack of communicating to us that he would not be showing up at the designated appointment time.

I called Roto Rooter of Johnson city, TN 12/26/19. They damaged my home walls, floors with water from their Hi-Pressure hose. I had only a backup in my kitchen sink from my Wash machine and no water in floors or on walls. I sent them a letter as well as discussed it with their receptionist who stated the owner would call to discuss my dissatisfaction. They have not responded only to leave a message on my phone threatening me with a collection agency. I was in Plumbing Business for 55 years and I nor my employees never made such a mess, when opening a clogged sewer line. We always left the home cleaner than we found it.

I called Johnson City TN Roto Rooter (RR) office and requested service to clean out a sewer line at a business on 12/4/18. The technician was dispatched and called me back for the details of the problem which I provided. He went to repair/clean out the lines but didn't have his ""jetter"" and would have to come back the next day 12/5/18 after the ""jetter thaws out"".
He did as he said (I mainly communicated with the technician for two days) and it appeared the problem was solved. The woman at the office said to only call the office for service orders not to call the technician-they would dispatch him to call me-because he wouldn't be covered by their insurance if I called him directly. I obliged.
A week later 12/11/18 I received word that the problem is still not fixed so I called the office back and asked for the technician to go back because it wasn't fixed. The woman at the office said she would dispatch the technician.
The next day 12/12/18 I received word that no one had shown up from Roto Rooter to fix the ongoing back up problem.
I called RR office again to find out why no one had addressed my service request. The same woman said to call the technician. I called the technician and he didn't know what I was talking about-he hadn't received a work order for another service. WTH???
I called the office back-same woman-who informed me that she had to have a faxed or emailed work request from me....WTH??! This was news to me. They didn't need a faxed or emailed request the week prior and made the service call. She argued with me that it was policy. Once again I reminded her that there was no policy last week and they still took the job-charged me $443 and broke 5 pieces of tile in the bathroom (for which they will get a bill from me for that repair).
Bottom line...Don't waste your time with these people. They don't know their left from their right and will not show up. You will get excuse after excuse. No accountability with the office people. The technician did the best he could with what (and who) he has to work with so I don't blame him-I am sure it's a daily challenge. If I could give no stars I would. They stink!!! Literally and figuratively.

I hired these people to fix a leak under my kitchen sink and to connect a ice maker to my new refrigerator. The person who showed up didn't seem like he knew what he was doing and my father ended up helping do most of the work. Needless to say the sink still leaks and my ice maker doesn't work. I have called and left several messages with the company and have yet to receive a return call. I paid over $400 for a service and didn't get my issues fixed. Do not use this company
