Received a call at 1 which stated the plumber would arrive in about 2 hours. With no call to inform me he would be running late he arrived after 5pm. When I opened the door he introduced himself. I asked him to put on a mask before coming into my home., he told me he had claustrophobia and therefore, couldn't wear a mask. IF this was true, I absolutely should have been informed at the time of making the appt. I should have turned him away but my house was for sale and I need the plumbing issue resolved.
He looked for my exterior septic pipe and told me he couldn't find it. He told me if he removed the toilet the water would be ""all over the floor"". Eventually he left with no resolve and told me he would call the next day which he never did.
I called AZ Plumbing. The technician fixed the issue efficiently and quickly. He told me the previous plumber had no reason to have water on the floor as he likely had (as he did) a vacuum to extract the water prior to pulling.
So sorry I wasted all day waiting for this company decide to show up and then not want to work

We purchased a townhome in Sedona and after 3 days of flushing found sewage in our tub and shower. We had it snaked by a different company and upon another visit, the same thing happened. My husband called John who came out with a camera and located the problem. I came out to check on the house and my husband arranged for John to come out and make the repairs. Let me say we were more than satisfied with John's response is prompt and professional, he's very pleasant and his years of experience made a major plumbing problem solvable. The issue was caused by a large root that had grown onto the sewer line and all but crushed it. John's helper Brian worked tirelessly to resolve the problem which ended up being a few feet under the front of the foundation. John installed a new pipe that will enable us to snake the pipes more effectively, he also recommended putting in rock salt to prevent the tree root from growing back onto the sewer pipe. John took multiple pictures and sent them to my husband who was able to view the work in real time. John made me feel comfortable with the work, explained every detail and the price was very fair. I wish John made house calls in Southern California.

Quick, courteous and reasonably priced service ...... Christopher responded and was immediately responsive to me individual needs. He was patient and knowledgeable, addressing all my concerns. With him by the side I was able to order the proper toilet to replace the one giving me problem online. He picked up the item for me at Home Depot and installed it; all within days.

Love this company! We have had them do a variety of jobs, including what I would normally think of when I think of ""Roto-Rooter"": Sewage!

But they are great plumbers!

We have a home warranty that covers all our plumbing, but the company sends inexperienced guys out of Phoenix and it takes days.

In ""emergencies"", the owner of Roto-Rooter has come out after hours at no extra charge, just because he felt sorry for us (not saying he's gonna be doing that for anyone else, 'cuz we live pretty close to their main shop).

Highly recommend for ALL plumbing jobs.

I highly recommend John and Roto Rooter. He is one of the only local plumbers who has the 100-foot snake. My plumbing gets backed up every couple of years and needs a snake. I have had other plumbers come out in the past but they didnt have a long enough snake and couldn't clear the line. John did so quickly and easily and with a smile on his face. I have also found his pricing is less than the other guys which I appreciate. His last visit to my home he discovered my kitchen sink had a clogged line, blocking the cold water and he fixed it for me at no extra cost, although he was there for another job.At this point, I wouldnt call anyone else.

I recently bought a modest second home in Sedona. Soon I had problems with a bath tub that would not drain. I contacted this company and they agreed to come to my home the following within a couple of days, (I was back in home in ca. by then) Before I left, I attempted to fix the drain myself with a little snake and some drain cleaners and even acid. I could not get it unclogged. I left a key for the plumber and hoped for the best. I was more than thrilled when I received a call from the Roto-Rooter plumber, that when he arrived, my drain was draining. He told me my fix must have done the trick in the time since he arrived. He did not bill me! I was aware that a house call would be 175.00 to arrive and unclog my drain. I am astonished that there are still honest tradesmen out there. Thank you so much! I would highly recommend this company.
