If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. They CLAIM to be a 24/7 service and we have an emergency sewer back up in our basement. Called them at 11:30pm but was told no one in our area can help us. WORTHLESS!!

Hi, I called and made an appt. they were late about two hours, they cleared the kitchen pipe, it says about 60 cleared on the receipt, I thought they could also just hook up the dish washer tube to the pipe, but the guy said no, maybe because it was on a Saturday, so late.. it was after 6m when they got here. So they did get the drain cleared, the price was a lot, I didn't realize that another Roto rooter online had a $99 special on clearing a pipe, so yours charged $425 then gave me a senior citizen discount of 10% so the bill came to $382.50 Total. I thought it was a lot for what they did and one of the guys hung out outside for a long while, I thought he was talking to the neighbor who lived across the street and he even walked into the yard next door. I feel a little dissapointed by how late they arrived and the cost, plus they didn't change out the pipe nor add anything to it to better it so it will last, they just tightened the one that I had put on that leaked for me previously, but it isn't leaking now. They are too expensive for what they do, even a previous time I called it cost a lot to fix a toilet by them also which I had done a while back by the same company. I think their management should check up on them and their services and prices. I would have liked to give a better review but I felt like they didn't really care too much about the work they did.

Great technicians! In and out in 45 min. Also very trust worthy, I called a few plumbing services prior to them and some wanted to do a very expensive jetting service without even diagnosing. I was urged to first trying the simple way first and I'm glad I listened to them because the technician got it done in a jiffy. I highly recommend them, thank you!

this is the worst place for plumbing issues in the lehigh valley. they do shoddy work, and are ridiculously rude. if you have had them do work previously, don't bother to try to get them to own up to their warranty. don't bother to call the office, that horrible woman that answers the phone needs to learn the meaning of the word professionalism. she uses rudeness to excuse them from warranty service. the only company i've ever dealt with that corporate doesn't at least try to make things right. take your business elsewhere before it's too late.

I had a horrible experience with this office. I called to have them clear the tub shower line and the bathroom line. I was quoted a price between $145&$175.I wasn't able to be home at the time and they refused to go there unless I provide them with my credit card information.They cleared one line only and charged me $170 and when I called to find out about the other line,I was told they didn't clear it because they might destroy the line with their machine. It was all a big lie and I called a very nice and local guy who used to work for Roto-Roote and he cleared the line for $120.Roto -Rooter refuse to at least do little adjustments to my bill. I will never ever use them again and don't recommend them at all.

I have not used Roto-Rooter for their service, but after the way I was spoken to for just being on their property, I will NEVER EVER use their service. I parked in the lot their trucks used, and a driver CURSED ME OUT for parking. The second they asked me to move, I began to
move my vehicle but the man continued to curse at me and proceeded to call me stupid for parking in the lot that is next to my
mother's HOME.
Never, ever will I use them just for their sheer disrespect for people.

I had sewage back up in my basement. The guy walked through sewage with no gear and then walked through my house. Also the tools he used he just carried them in and back out dripping wet. I called the office to ask if this was standard service procedure and the lady said she would have someone call me back, never got a call back. I would think a company like this would be better equipped handling things in a more sanitary way.

The woman who answered the phone was BEYOND rude. None of the 6 bathrooms worked in our office building, so I was asked by my boss to take care of the problem. When I called, the receptionist was extremely short with me, had an attitude the entire time, did not answer my questions, was not at all helpful, and in the end said it's ""my call"" on what I should do, but then said she had another call so to call back when Ive made a decision. She then proceeded to hang up on me before I could say anything else! Your job is to answer the phone, and you treat your customers like that?? Needless to say I took my business somewhere else!! Would NOT recommend.

I was worried about hiring a national brand simply because I expected to be over-charged. After getting local quotes I found them to be the same or cheaper than anyone else. Within 1 hour they were at my house and within 45min my sewer was completely handled and warrantied for 3 months for $160 out the door. Very positive experience and I would hire them again immediately.

Lets just hope I don't have too, cause this kinda stinks. :-)

My house's sewer line was clogged. I called local plumbers for estimates, and they all wanted $300-400 to clear it out; some even wanted to charge an extra $50-80 just for showing up.

It finally dawned on me to call Roto Rooter. They were able to show up within 24 hours and clean the pipe for $170. They may have been able to come sooner with off-hours pricing, but I didn't ask. The cost includes a 3 month guarantee where they'll fix the pipe again if it clogs in that time period.

The people who showed up were professional and courteous. They were also able to do everything from outside of the house, which I appreciated since the inside was pretty messy with the lack of a working drain line. They will be the first people I call if I ever have this issue again.
