Roto Rooter diagnosed a non-emergency issue with an exterior gutter. They said I was on the list for a repair for over a year. I spoke to Marcy many times over the course of the year, but she just kept saying I was ""on the list."" I finally called Hukill's and they took care of the repair quickly.

Our toilet plugged which caused the sewer line to plug. Rotor Rooter sent Carter within half an hour of speaking with them. Carter was professional, conscientious and thorough. Thank you for making my day better with such excellent service.

They arrived on time as said, worked on the kitchen sink drain... it turned out to be a little complicated but great job!

I called early in the morning when I noticed a leaking shower faucet that would not stop running water in the off position. Call was sent to an operator line, operator took my information and explained a plumber would be calling we within the hour. Four hours later no call. I called back and left a message. A woman called me back and explained my information was given to a plumber and he will get back to me after he is finishing fixing someone else's toilet in a nasty crude tone. I told her first off I don't have a problem with my toilet and second I was told I would be receiving a call back within the hour. This women snapped back and said ""well you can't go off of what an operator says"". I told her maybe someone should inform the operator that they shouldn't say that to potential customers and asked when should I be receiving a call back? She rudely said ""whenever a plumber has time!"" I really wanted to give her a piece of my mind at that point but did not stoop to her level. She has no customer service skills and sounds completely ridiculous. I would never hire someone so disrespectful and dismissive. Anyway I never received a call back and I am so glad. I had a very professional service plumber from Mr. Rotor come same day and fixed my shower problem in a timely manner. The company as a whole is lovely and would highly recommend them. I can see Roto Rotors has horrible reviews. Would highly recommend staying far far away from this company- not just off of my experience but the other reviews are telling!! YIKES!!!

We took the owner to small claims court (he lost) the owner is not responding and not paying his $900 demand from the judge.

Terrific job replacing the sewer line that runs beneath our driveway. Roury, Sam, Daylon and Tammy, thanks to all. We heartily recommend this company!
Postponing the inevitable, Roto-Rooter has been performing regular sewer drain cleaning for 15 years to keep the roots cleared out of our 60 year old sewer line.
The driveway needed to be replaced and a determination made about the sewer line; i.e. leave it and take a risk or replace it before the new driveway went down. They did a recorded camera evaluation and marked locations on the driveway. The video and discussions with them led us to determine that the sewer line needed to be replaced. They provided a timely and cost effective quote. The new line was installed in one day. Everyone working on-site was professional and friendly. Really wonderful service!

Came same afternoon. Nice on phone. Closed gate. Joe was great with my three medium size dogs. Friendly, clean, Polite, grabbed a spider instantly on my carpet in his hand. Thanks! I didn't see it. Unusual. Fixed bathtub in minutes. Double checked. Cleaned after. Made sure I had dogs inside before opening gate and closed, locked it. Joe did the job well. Left as quietly as he came. Like I knew him as a friend. And only charged a little $$ for the fix. Very happy. Deserves double rating to a 10. Totally recommend them for your job!
Thank you. Well done!

Would not use Roto-Rooter again. Our rental property shower drain was clogged. They came out and then had to reschedule to another day because the tech said he thought it was the toilet and he didn't have the correct equipment. He came back out and snaked the drain and said he got part of a drain cover out but couldn't get all of it and someone might need to crawl under the house to cut a pipe to remove the obstruction. They charged $200 for this visit. The drain flowed for a month and then clogged again. I spoke to the woman who does the scheduling and I mentioned it was less than a month since the last visit and it was the same problem. She said didn't I read the invoice and it was for the toilet. I told her that was incorrect and she was the person I had scheduled the appointment with and we had discussed it over the phone. She said she had been an emotional wreck for a month because she had lots of issues going on in her private life but she'd talk to the owner. (This is a business--I'm a customer not your therapist! A customer doesn't need to hear about your personal problems!) An appointment was set for them to come back out and the tech again rescheduled on the day of the appointment. They came back out and snaked the drain again and the tech said they got more of the drain plug out. The tech was there for less than 5 minutes this time. They charged $70 for this visit. Is it fixed--who knows? I own 2 rental properties and my own home and I definitely will not use them again or recommend them to others. In short, they don't listen, they don't respect your time, they overcharge for their service, they don't fix it right the first time, and they have terrible customer service.

We used this company for an inspection on a septic system for a house we bought. There were a few things that needed to be fixed, nothing major. After 2 weeks living in the house, the septic tank was overflowing. We found that the pump was fried, and it looked like it hadn't worked for quite some time. The previous owner had a garden hose buried, leading away from the septic system, and now I know why. I think he was pumping the septic with an external pump. We called this same Roto Rooter company back for them to come out and help us out, but they would not answer our phone calls or return our (polite) voicemails. They didn't answer even when we called during business hours.
I'm thinking this company was paid off by the previous owner for a mostly clean report, or just didn't do the full inspection, thus purposely avoiding our calls. About $3k later and we got a few things fixed by a different company. Now it's the rainy season and I hear water flowing in the system all the time. I'm thinking there's a crack in one of the tanks, which is going to cost me a lot more money.
Bottom line - these aren't real plumbers.

First of all they did not arrive for a scheduled appointment. They said I didn't answer the phone at 7am when they called. Well we agreed the day prior you would arrive around 8am. Anyways finally they show up at almost 7 or 8pm to look at my problem. They inspected the drain flow into my septic and determined they can't fix it and proceeded to charge me 150+ bucks just to diagnose the problem and not fix it. Needless to say they left and said they might be able to come back and fix it in 2 weeks. Mind you my septic is not draining properly and backed up in the house. So they quoted me 1300-2000 to fix it to which I laughed. I called Jim's Septic service the next day who came out the next day and easily diagnosed and fixed the problem for 474.00. Steer clear of Roto Rooter. The only thing they are good at is overcharging for nothing.
