Roto rooter is amazing! We use their services relatively frequently and in our experience, they always come quickly, they are always super nice, and they always do a good job. We have had frequent sink clogs, toys flushed down toilets, malfunctioning garbage disposals, dishwasher installments and probably a few other things. We have not used another plumbing service and because Roto rooter is so awesome, we won't have too.

My experience was NOT GOOD. I took a whole day off work for an appt that was supposed to be 9am-12pm. Well by 2:00pm there was no call no show. I called the office several times to find out if/when they would be out--the response was a canned ""he will call you when he is heading out to your place"". I had another appt at 2:30pm, so as I was leaving the house for that appt the guy called to come out--I told him I was heading out after waiting two hours PAST time he was supposed to be there. He said ok I will call you Monday afternoon and we can meet at your property. Never heard from him again--horrible service. Little do they know I manage a 15,000 sq ft building (Company that employees over 500 people and word WILL GET OUT how bad this companies service is) that could of been a money maker for them--but I WILL NOT GIVE any business to this company!

Excellent service from Shane in response to emergency septic service at my home. Despite a few communication glitches (definitely not his fault), Shane provided great last minute professionalism. This the second time since 2019 Shane has provided service at my home. He did a great job then too!

We have a rental in Ukiah and previously have used anther local plumber. After getting no call back for months I contacted Roto Rooter. Shawn responded quickly with a quote, scheduled my job and completed it with no problems. My tenant called me and was highly complimentary of the crew to do the re-pipe of the house. I will be contacting Roto Rooter in the future for all of the needs for the rental.

Very unreliable. Very discourteous, very dishonest. They Gave me the run around and kept me waiting weeks. Then just lied about why that happened. Very frustrating experience; i hate when people, twist the truth. Bad experience with them.

Shawn, Shane & John were absolutely wonderful and fun to work with but also professional. I was told everything that they needed to do while they installed our new septic system before proceeded. Our house was not an easy house to get the tank to and again they proceeded with the utmost concern for our property. They will be my ""go to"" team. Unprofessional, upped the price from the original quote, and did not follow through. The answering service connected me with their rep who came out right away. They were very pleasant and let me know that they could replace the next day. They told me it would cost about the same to do a tank or tankless (should have been my first warning sign) and quoted me verbally $2,300. I asked for an estimate in writing for both the tank and tankless and he said he would do that and have it for me in the morning so I could approve and they could install in the afternoon. No estimate came so I called around 3pm (answering service again). When he called me back he gave me an estimate over the phone and when I asked for it in writing he seemed really surprised. He sent me an estimate much later since he was in the field that did not include an estimate for a tank water heater and showed an estimate of $3,023.39 which was way more than we talked about and maybe trying to upsell on a different unit? I responded asking for an estimate for a tank heater which he texted to me at $1265 (no official estimate). I also asked for an itemized estimate for the tankless. But he told me he was off work and wouldn't do any more that evening (kind of understandable as it was after 5 at that point). So, at the end of the day where I had expected to be done we hadn't even gotten the estimate I had asked for so I decided to start looking elsewhere. The following day he told me he couldn't get me an estimate until that evening and then ghosted me. I haven't heard from him in 8 days (still no estimate). I am glad that I had already started the process of getting a different company to come out or we would have been without hot water for a very long time. The other company installed for $2200.
