Stay away from this company if you're looking to get plumbing work. They also operate under Roto-Rooter. I called to have a constant hot water leak in the shower repaired. A tech did arrive the next day, made an assessment, and said he would be out the next business day. The tech did not know how to cut the hot water off in the house during his visit to conserve oil. (A T Webber tech showed up after the no-shows and immediately identified how to turn off the hot water). The tech was a no show for the next 3 days (with hot water running); the first no-show, a dispatch person called, stating he was routed to a commercial account and had to reschedule. For the next 2 no-shows, I had to call to follow up on the location and the ETA of the tech. This company is willing to take the money upfront (250.00) to make an assessment but not willing to follow up on the work. I eventually e-mailed the Roto-Rooter corp franchise service division, and they agreed it should not occur. They contacted the owner who called me with a long story regarding the industry, hourly pays of plumbers, and many other non-sense, which did not help resolve my issue. He did agree to refund my original cost for making an assessment but never did. In a nutshell, this company will not keep its commitment. Consumer beware!
Terrible, rude service. The old guy was beyond rude. Wanted 500.00 to do septic and ANOTHER 500.00 to open sink drain. Came 2 days late, what can I say good about these guys? Only that the younger guy pulled me aside and said to rent a drain opener for cheap, he was even embarassed over the old guys quote. Oh, and now 1 month later we are smelling septic again outside. May have to report this clown to the BBB,
Noah S.Steve was very knowledgeable and found our septic pipe issue right away with his amazing in-pipe camera. He gave us a fair estimate and came on the agreed upon date. It was not an easy job digging up a whole long pipe in soil that is filled with fieldstone, and it took Steve much of the workday. He also had someone from the company come and flush our pipes. He was friendly and good-humored and I will use him and Roto Rooter in the future.
Tim showed up on time, great attitude toward The challenging job we needed to have fixed. He was smart, very neat and pretty fast. The price was fair and the problem was solved. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Had them clear main out last year. House was built in the twenty's. Employees asked my wife how long we have lived here and told her it was time to move. Not the best basement but far from the worst I've seen. Guys decided to use a clean out that was 15' from the best spot. They guaranteed up to 100' unless they hit a foreign object with their bit that can go through anything. They got 60' and said you must have roots offered to scope for an additional $525They undid two clean outs and didn't even hand tighten. I didn't find out for a couple months had raw sewage on floor. A couple months after that I found out that they used the extension cord for my freezer and never plugged it back in. Called on both issues and was told let me talk to the guys and I'll call you back. Never to be heard from again. Had to have main done again today so called them up and asked for a discount for what they did last year. Of coarse it the first they have ever heard of it of course I got pissed. I can't do a half ass job and expect to get paid. Years down the line I stand behind my work. So I had Koberlein come out. They blasted all the way to the main in the road. Scoped it and found out it is the town's responsibility. What Roto-Rooter charged me $425 + $200 freezer. Was free today. So I called to let them know. Of course I was passed to the owner. What a pompous prick. This dude is lower than the lowest I've ever dealt with. I didn't get nasty until he did. Was Sincerely apologetic for using a swearword at his employee during my first phone call this dude even threatened me with bodily harm
Timothy O.I had a shower drain that was backing up. I call Roto-Rooter Plumbers and they came out right away. They were friendly and picked up the phone right away and most importantly came out on time. The plumber explained what he was going to do and then cleared the drain of hair and who knows what and the problem was fixed. Took a good hour to clean and he was on his way. I would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing issues.
Considering suing them. With no authorization from me they removed the pump I paid them over $4000 to install and are demanding $1800 to return and reinstall it. The pump has never worked properly and they offer no warranty that it will work even if I pay the $1800 ransom. The national company of Roto Rooter has shown no interest in intervening with this ""privately owned franchise"" but that should be unacceptable as well.
