$297 to replace fill valve and flapper (not including parts).
I called Roto Rooter because I figured they would have a lot of employees and be able to send someone quickly.
Work was fine, but I wish I had asked for a price before it was performed.
For $297, I can wait for another plumber to have room in their schedule.

I had my toilet repaired a month ago . The plumber flooded my bathroom, didn't use my coupon, and used my flapper kit I purchased from Lowes. Why? Because he didn't bring the flapper kit with him. This was the reason he came to my home. Within two weeks ,the toilet became to have the same issues. I paid $259 for nothing , except washing my towels from the flooded bathroom. I contacted the company and set up an appointment for Saturday, 9/16.
I waited all day for nothing. So far, they took my money and my time. Do not use this company!!

this review isnt for roto rooter the company, so much as it is for the technician RAY. he was knowledgeable, professional, and got the job done!

After calling a couple of plumbing companies and being on a wait list for both, I called Roto-Rooter and they said they could probably get to me within a couple of hours. This was after the freeze and many people had busted pipes. They came out in about 2 hrs, which was around 8 pm. Greg found the problem and fixed it in 30 minutes. The service was very professional and the price was what I expected. I would definitely recommend them and would call them in the future.

They've been onsite same day last two calls. They found a broken drain pipe first time around, which I had no idea was a problem. Second time 1 sink clogged from A/C drain line. They fixed both very quickly and even helped me locate my clean out, which was buried in a garden. I may keep them on speed dial.

Once again, in my 150 year old house detected a gas leak which is always a concern. Old pipes, old fittings. Roto Rooter helped greatly the last time so of course, I called them. Great top notch service, Sean came out on time the same day of my call, detected the leak right away...even took pictures since you won't find me crawling under the house! He was prompt, professional and got the job done! He then relit all of my gas pilots. Very nice to have a responsive, reliable plumbing company.

RotoRooter came to the property to assess a clogged main drain line. I paid $259 for the diagnosis, and they proposed a $2800 repair to replace what they said was 5' - 6' of cracked drain pipe and a clean out. I sought a second opinion, and that second plumbing company completed a video inspection that showed that neither the drain pipe nor the clean out were broken. I informed RotoRooter of this and stated my position that the problem was mis-diagnosed and that I should be refunded the $259. They disagreed and declined the refund. I received an unpleasant and argumentative email from the franchise owner after contacting RotoRooter corporate for support.

Gave me an estimate for $3200 plus the $229 service call to reinstall 41' of Sewer line between my two clean outs that were cracked. I called two plumbers this morning and had an estimate for $899 using the recommended schedule 40 pipe. Be careful utilizing this company for any plumbing work, they will take full advantage of your situation.
