Roto-Rooter has been unclogging drains starting in 1935, as Samuel Blanc patented the original electric drain cleaning machine and launched the Roto-Rooter franchise business. Modern drain cleaning machines continue to function largely the same manner, using blades to shear through the debris and return proper flow. Currently, Roto-Rooter cleans more drains and repairs more sewer lines than all other North America. The Roto-Rooter reputation is linked with quality service fueled by years of experience.
