Called them first guy they sent just really didn't want to work I know how this is as I own a business but the next guy they sent out was owners son and he did an awesome job made sure problems where corrected but the fist guy should have done his job and they would not have to send out somebody that cares about their job I would have given 5 starts but had to wait for a professional to show up I'd use this company again only if they send the owners son he actually cares about his job and goes out of his way to do the job right the first time

I had a loooong list of repairs. Caleb was an angel sent from heaven! He treated me better than family! Courteous, clean, took great care and pride in his work! I felt a job well done for the money! This is the second time I've gone with Roto-Rooter, and I wouldn't use anyone else! Thank You!!!!!!!!

RANT: it's a long one, I'm sorry. Roto Rooter of Deland. Avoid at all cost! We bought our house in Jan. shortly there after we installed a stackable washing machine and dryer. We noticed gurgling in the toilet of our master bathroom when we did laundry. Also the toilet wouldn't fully drain and clean water seeping from where the toilet meets the tile. We thought we might either have a main line clog or our septic needed pumped. I called Roto Rooter of Deland and they said they would have to send two techs out at separate costs to check both. The next day, after I called out of school, the tech came over (Feb 28) and had me run my showers and flush my toilets, he said he didn't think we had a main line clog and that we prolly just needed our septic tank pumped. He started pumping it and then he said his truck broke. He asked if he could come back tomorrow and finish the job. Of course I said yes. He also asked to leave his hose in my front yard because it has stuff in it. I said sure. I asked if he could send me pictures once it's done because I was curious, this being my first septic tank and all, and also to confirm the job was done. I came home from school the next day and the hole was covered up and all looked well. I waited 2 days because he said some one would contact me about payment and so I could get the pictures. No on called so I called and paid the $250 over the phone. They said they didn't have pictures and would get back to me. This past Sunday our AC wasn't working so we got a repair guy out for that, it was $650 and we are back up and running. While dealing with that I called around to see if we could get some quotes on a toilet we have that moved and some one to check the septic tank again because of the gurgling. My neighbor and my husband in a bid to save us money and diagnose it themselves dug up both holes of the septic tank to see if there was a screen that was clogged. When they dug it up, the found the tank filled to the brim fast past how far it should be filled and they could not locate and screen because it's so over filled. Also there is a crack at the top of the tank by the second hole. What this means is we might need a new drain field. After calling around hours, explaining all this and getting quotes, many septic service companies are saying that Roto-Rooter should have dug up and pumped out both sides of the tank. And taken pictures. Roto Rooter could have seen the crack and also could have seen if there was sand on the other side of the baffle wall which could indicate a clog or an issue with the drain field. I called them to see if they would pump it out again and completely this time, but all they will offer me was a free service call to come out and look (not they can see anything because it's full). And only after asking to speak to the owner they offered $50 off their $250 pumping fee. I have contacted corporate and will see where this goes. I should not have to pay again for a job that wasn't completely done right the first time, not to mention, that had they done it right, we would have known a month and a half ago we might have a larger problem and I would be were I am with sewer in my yard and another cost of $250 after pumping just to get some one in to they can diagnose at another $225. I may need a new drain field, which can run 3-10k... fine, that sucks I'll figure it out. But To charge me twice for an incomplete job, that's bullshit!! Please avoid Roto Rooter of Deland at all costs.

1 review 5.0 star rating 3/1/2017 After a little scheduling mix up, I was given immediate service after a sincere explanation and apology. The technician that came out to the house was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I was even educated because I had some odd questions and he took the time to explain everything in detail. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter for your plumbing and septic needs!

I had them come to our house on the weekend. We had a clog and I remember telling them that we had a septic and were having an issue with it and the toilets. My husband had ended up getting it unclogged for us but we though oh they were bringing this big tank to help with the septic. The tech came in the van stood around just talking didn't do a thing and we got charged $125. When I called back to try to figure where it all went wrong I was told I would get $35 back and only charged $90. Still be charged for the guy to do nothing. Well it's a month later and I never got my refund of $35. I most definitely will not be using this useless company again.

The communication was top shelf. Within a matter of minutes I knew when someone would be coming. David arrived and was complete in 15 minutes. He was professional and good at what he does. Great business!

We called this morning because our shower wouldn't drain and when we plunged it there was sewer back up in our shower and our bathtubs. they were fully booked but they made time to come and take care of us. Deena who answered the phone was absolutely wonderful and cared and made it happen. Clyde the plumber came out. We just bought our house a few months ago and the clean out had gotten covered up by mulch. We couldn't find it so he removed the toilet put a snake machine thing down and listened for the vibrations and narrowed down the area outside carefully dug and found the clean out took complete fantastic care of us and cleaned up any mess. We are very grateful to Roto Rooter in Deland. Thank you so much!

Do your self a favor and dont call this company!!!!, I called them a couple weeks ago to fix my shower drain, they came in twice, the second time they broke the tub drain and all the water is leaking to my bedroom, damaged my carpet, furniture and more, end of the story to fix it is going to cost me around $2000 to fix all the damaged, I called them up and they basically told me they re not responsable for the damaged and I have to find somebody else to fix the problem.... dont waste your money go with somebody else! These people pretty much stole my money and damage my property....

Matt arrived and quickly diagnosed that our problem, which persisted following septic pumping by another company because the septic had backed up into the house, was not a simple clearing from a drain access with the snake, but involved him digging to and opening the septic tank then working backwards towards the house to pull out considerable waste that had been impacted in the drain from the septic overflow. It was a pleasure working with this very professional and courteous individual. Jay K.

Been a couple years since roto rooter came out to fix a bad clog. They had to remove the toilet which cost an additional fee of over $100 and it turns out they didn't bother to replace the wax seal which is very cheap and you're supposed to replace every time the toilet comes off. I guess I'm foolish for trusting that this company sent professionals. They didn't replace the wax seal when they did the initial work or when the supervisor came and removed the toilet a couple days later to inspect the work. Absolutely trash company and trash work. Apparently I've had a slow leak from under my toilet since, until today when I fixed it myself. Avoid this company at all costs.
