Called them for clicked up kitchen sink. First thing out of the guys mouth was, you need a new garbage disposal. That was absolute nonsense. He looked two seconds and the pipe and said it will cost you 425 bucks. I said thanks but no thanks.

Found MC plumbing, they came and fixed it for 170 bucks

Why do my plumbing problems always occur on a weekend and a major holiday, no less. Easter Sunday I went out to water my plants and my hose burst. A quick COVID safe trip to home depot resulted in a new hose which I promptly screwed onto the spigot. That was enough to cause my 70 year old water pipe to crumble before my eyes.

I called Roto Rooter (Los Gatos) who had come to my three times before and Benny was there within less than 2 hours. Like all the plumbers, he was professional and helpful. He tried to stop the leak but needed a bigger sleeve. Water was turned off for the night and he was back bright and early with a temporary fix.

Benny arranged for the city to come mark utilities and scheduled the work for Friday. Things moved quickly and he was able to start on Thursday. We thought he would need to cut my pavement in two places, but with skill and persistence he was able to dig below the pavement in both places to get to the pipes.

Work was completed on time and the results were excellent. Benny went the extra mile to explain everything, minimize the cost and disruption and put everything back into place (including my horribly weedy lawn).

Plumbing issues are never fun, but Roto Rooter and their team make it as pain free as possible.

I thought the price was fair and I qualified for a discount which made things easier.

We called Roto Rooter about a clog in our kitchen that was pushing up gunk up in our hall bathtub. We knew what the issue was because it happened before in 2015 and were happy to call Roto-Rooter again to help us. We have to give them 3 stars due to the following averaging: 5 stars for the super quick and professional service. We called on Sunday morning and they were able to pull up our last visit info and then come see us the same morning and our repair person was so professional and kind. We then give them 2 stars because the cost of the service had doubled. Just to clear the drain from the kitchen output we were quoted $425 this time ($200 in 2015). We understand inflation and cost of living, but this seemed like a super bummer. The job took about an hour and a half. Then I realized we had received a coupon in a mailer for another company RooterHero m advertising drain clearing for $79 with proper access, up to 75 feet. $75-$425 seems pretty far apart. In talking with our nice service man he gave us a 10% discount so we ended up paying $382. Still a lot but they got the job done!

$404 for a main clean-out. Was handed some Root-X to apply down the main instead of them doing it. Be careful of the fast talking ""used car salesman"" price quotes. Ask them to reiterate what exactly they will be providing.

I was trying to install sump pump at my crawl space. The person who came did not have clue what to do. He was on the phone with someone for 45min and asking all repeated questions. After close to an hour he gave me 35k quote for the job which finally I have it done for 4k. They are not expert on at least sump pump and not fair on the price. Choose someone else.

In short, use these folks if you ever need sewer clean-out or sewer replacement. We were experiencing significant sewer issues and two other companies either were unable or unwilling to assist. I called Roto-Rooter on a Sunday afternoon, they were prompt in responding and cleared my sewer. I subsequently used their camera services to discover I had a bigger problem than I thought (and that was my evaluation not theirs - they did not suggest the sewer replacement until after I mentioned it). In other words they did not take advantage of a situation and say I really needed a sewer. Anyway, that is what I did. I had them replace the sewer including two more clean-out spots. They did the work well, on time, and were very clean about it. The employees were very respectful, knowledgeable and willing to take the time to explain to me what they were doing and why. I did not speak to everyone personally but I want to give a special shout out to Mason, Pablo, Jorge, Jaime and Jason. There were others that I just cannot remember their names (sorry guys). But that team that came out has made Roto-Rooter my first choice and in fact two of my neighbors have already contacted them for some work. One other thing that I hope they continue to do and that is to give apprentices 'on the job training' We had three guys under the house and one of them was an apprentice. That is great when a company takes the time to train the right way how things should really be done.

I called at 7:30 PM on a Friday night. Mason came over at a little after 9 to the Santa Cruz Mountains and promptly cleared the main drain to the septic tank.
He then scoped the line with his camera so that I could see what the root problem is. There is a misalignment between the pipes. He gave me an estimate of the cost for a complete repair.
The bottom line: the work was done by a knowledgeable professional, on time, and for the quoted price.

Giving these folks five stars!! Called them out today (yes, Thanksgiving)! Got here within about 2 hours of the call. Great attitude and service. Thorough. Good price! They even gave my mom a senior citizen discount.
