The phone number on the website is incorrect. It goes to a gentleman's personal cell phone. I called the main Roto Rooter company in Illinois and they could not help me as their only contact for SF franchise was that phone number. This business may be closed. Very disappointed it is not listed as such.

Friendly and knowledgeable plumbers. However, be warned. They charge way too much at $365/hour. You can call almost any other plumber here on Yelp and get as much customer service and knowledge withit nearly paying that cost- half their cost at most.

Called Thursday for a clogged kitchen sink. They came Saturday and unclogged it in 10-15 minutes using a rooter. Charged $360!!!!! Total ripoff!

I had couple plumbing issues, rusty main water pipe in the basement, leaky faucet, wiggly toilet, missing shower handle knob.
I called roto rooter and they answered very quickly to come next day. When he came in, i told him about the problems and he went to look at all of them to see how much it would cost. After seeing all the problem, he went back to his car to write me a invoice with 135 dollars charge for looking at problems. He didn't even fix any of my problems! and told me that all of the problem are going to cost 3000 dollars.
On their website, they say it's free estimate! Why should i pay him to look at the problems and do nothing about it! He didn't want to leave even though, i told him it was free estimate unless i paid him 135 dollars.
The tech was very unprofessional and rude. How can he charge me for just coming by to not even lay a single finger on my problems? Don't ever use this company! Free estimate? It's false advertisement.

Do not use if dependency is important. I called last night at 7:30pm for a clogged drain issue and was told that a plumber would be by in 2 hours. After an hour I received a call asking if the appointment could be switched to 8am the next day. I said that was fine if they could be there at 8. At 8, I received a call stating that the plumber would be there by 9. At 10, I called for an ETA and was told that the plumber would call within a few minutes. I called another company after waiting 15 minutes and was told I'd have a plumber here within the hour (fingers crossed). I can't comment on this company's workmanship but they are either dishonest or inept about their appointment scheduling.

I called early in the morning for a plumbing issue. I was told someone would be out between 8 and 10 a.m. At 10 a.m. they called me back and said someone would be out by noon, after noon hit they called again and said someone would be out sometime today! I called a different plumbing service and they sent someone out right after I called!

Very, very bad telephone customer service experience. I called to ask a question about the Guaranty because they putted a commercial guaranty in my bill instead of a residential guaranty. Customer services was rude and hang up the phone.
Also price is very expensive because they claim that everything is guaranty. But this is not the case. They will always try to give you the minimum guaranty.
Even though that they respond quickly to the emergency call the result is not what is expected. It is better to wait longer for another plumber in order to get a better job, affordable, and with a longer guaranty.
I will not recommend this company at all and I will not work with them anymore.

Very disappointed. I had no water for 3 days. I explained thst I had a wounded Veteran as a tenent. They came out day one and the tech said he doesn't do thst type of work. She put inns ticket for day 2 they have me a wait time between 1pm and 5pm. At 5 pm they call to say the tech went home for the day. They can have some one over at 8am Sunday. The tech was late. Showed up at 11am. No call. When he arrives refused to donhis own assessment. Goes by the value notes from the previous guy. Then proceed to attempt to overcharge me for work that has listed prices. When I call him on it he says I can make that no one comes out here for a week. I kicked him out and moved on to other service
