I wish I could give no stars. This place is so unreliable and the customer service is terrible. The company was contacted for service on a Thursday and they were able to come on a Saturday morning. The plumber was able to pull out a rock but there was still blockage. He could not figure out the issue and needed a supervisor approval for additional service needed which may require opening the wall and checking out the pipes. He said they could return Monday to do so inspections and work on blockage. There were no updates on Monday which we requested to be notified by the end of the day. So I called to let them know my availability but to let me know before hand. I get a text message appointment on Tuesday confirming that someone would be coming on Wednesday. But then they ended up showing up Tuesday when I was at work. I got notifications on my phone showing motion at the door. It was employees from Rotor-Rooter. I called complaining about how no one notified us before hand. I work full time and I need to know when I need to request time off. The dispatcher said someone would be able to come the next day at 1 pm. No one shows up. I called again and the associate was giving me attitude. I finally get confirmation that they will be here at 5 pm. The guy showed up at 6:10 pm. He was confused on why he was sent out here to removed a cabinet. There is no cabinet that needed to be remove and he was confused. He ended up leaving since he was unable to do anything since he only does water restoration. Apparently the main plumber was supposed to show up with him but didn't. How does one even mistake a wall for cabinet? This is complete bullshit and now I have to call another day off work for them to do an ""inspection"" and not fix the blockage. It says 24/7 but the main person only works weekdays and in the mornings. Save yourself from trouble and call a different company.

My dad was ripped off. He paid 608 for descaling. He was giving a quote of 530 to replace parts that he wanted us to order.

Over priced. Charged me 150 to unclog my garbage disposal that took about 15 min. Lol crazy. After they were a day late.

I would give less than one star if possible. Last time they pumped they charged me $315, this time was over $900 and the amount they claim they pumped was bigger than my tank. Will not use them again and I would recommend you stay away.

We had a technician from roto-rooter come out to give us a quote about a water heater replacement. The cost would have been 1,850.00, because of some hazard or re-wiring needs to be done etc.

We had another technician recommended by a friend come out and did it for $125, no hassles.

What a joke! Had to call Roto as my main sewer line was backed up. Plumber arrived and said it would cost me 250$ to snake my line. I told him I wasn't gonna pay that price so he went to his van and made a supposed call to his boss. Came back and said he had permission from his boss to clear sewer main for 150$. As though he were hooking me up. They knew it was after hours and capitalized on my misfortune. What a crooked company.

So.....my elderly mother had a pipe burst in her front yard. This was a job that was waaaaay out of my league!!!

My mother called at 2 o'clock-ish this afternoon. Explained the situation, and they told her someone would be no later than 330pm.

330 rolls around. NOBODY!
4pm....NOBODY!
Called at 430, they told my mom they were a little backed upn and should be there in an hour tops. And she will get a call when they are headed to her house.


7pm. Still nobody. No phone call. NOTHING!!!

So by now. The front of the house has a line around the block with all the neighborhood kids thinking we opened open 'Wild Water Adventures: Front Yard Edition'
Oh. The neighbors front yard is flooded. Incase you thought we werent sharing the free water!!!!

Luckly we had the city to come out and save the plumber some time and elbow grease, and shut the water off.
745 pm. You guessed it....A PLUMBER STILL HASNT SHOWN UP!

Called to cancel the 330 appointment. The lady who answered the phone was incredibly rude. Basically said ""i think the driver might be on the way now.""
You think?

Now. Is this the plumber/drivers fault?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!! How could it be? They arent the ones who answered the phone, and give a time someone would/should show up.

Why were we not told they are very busy today, from the start?
Why did they not call us and keep us updated on when the plumber was in route? Or delayed? Or whatever may be the issues on why its 4 and a half hours later, and if wasnt for us calling the place ourselves, wed still be waiting.

I now see why this buisness has such a low rating!

I wish i would have taken the time to research this buisness, instead of just calling.
But you know........busted pipe, alot of water coming out of the ground......i was in a bit of a rush. And considering i see these trucks all over town, i assumed this place is a pretty rad place that can get the job done.

So know i wonder what all those drivers are doing?!
Cause they sure as hell arent showing up to any calls!

We recently had a drain line issue develop at a rental house in Visalia. We called Roto-Rooter to check the issue and offer a solution. Jonathan came to the house and jumped right in! He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. It turned into a major job and Jonathan was there for every step including hand digging in the street. We will call Roto-Rooter again and they should hang onto Jonathan!

Scheduled an appt and waited for a confirmation. Never got it so I had to go pay bills. Roto-Rooter shows up. Gave them my card info to pay because I was out still and they said it came back ""invalid card number""... Had to rush back with cash but had them run my card again. It worked. Paid $200 for them to auger the toilet but they said something else was wrong so that would need to be done...long story short, toilets went right back to being plugged because they didn't investigate further. Had Good Guys come out and they said ""Yeah, looks like the cleanout valve needs clearing..."" then proceeded to fix the problem, not the symptom, and DIDN'T charge me a dime. Roto-Rooter was terrible for me... Is it possible to give negative stars?
