Mark at Roto Rooter is top notch! He went over and above trouble shooting sewage system back up at my parents house and was very courteous and patient in explaining everything to them. It is so nice when companies are customer friendly especially towards senior citizens.

TJ & Paul (6172 & 6171) replaced some pipes in our crawl space. They were nice, professional, fast and clean. They explained everything they were doing and showed me photos of the before and after. Great job by some nice professionals. Thank you!

No one came. Literally waited hours kept calling their customer service they didn't even know when they'll arrive.

They gave me a 4 hour window but showed up 30 minutes after they were supposed to be at my home. They didn't show up with equipment that I requested. They don't charge hourly anymore but instead by insane ""per task"" fees which range from $400 for a clogged sink to $1,800 to descale a cast iron pipe.

Oh, and they did call at the end of my 4-hour window was up to tell me the tech was on the way but not from the area code where my home is located but instead from my cell phone's area code, which is ALWAYS a spam call. I don't want to call national call centers. I don't want to deal with people half way across the county.

I thought Roto Rooter would be reliable but boy was I was wrong. Scheduled a 4 hour window to deal with a main water blockage. No one showed up (they didn even call me to tell me no one was on their way. I had to find out by calling them). I've even attached an email confirmation. It's so frustrating to have to miss work tomorrow to deal with this situation.

$400 to run a snake through the backyard drainage with no other issues? Give me a break! Only took me a few minutes to reject them.

Meh...won't call them unless I don't have any other choice. I was charged $300 for snaking a clean out job that didn't even solve the problem. The tech that came out was nice but wasn't experienced. Resulted in me calling a different company who charged me 2/3 of what I paid RR and the second company sent a camera down for the inspection of the sewer line free of charge.
Then RR charged me $500 just to get a QUOTE from their emergency restoration service because I had a sewage issue underneath the house that needed to be addressed, but they said I can use the $500 towards the restoration job. I wasn't home that day but the person there said it was just two guys poking their head in the crawl space for half a hr, while I was on the phone with them to discuss a plan of action. Needless to say when they told me how much it was to address the issue I immediately gave them a pass. $500 for 30 minutes!!! SMH unbelievable, but at that moment I had no other option. No one was available to come out to look at the sewage problem.
In the end I went with the second company that came to snake the sewer line the second time and they did everything for me almost half the price of RR. Unless insurance is covering your loss I'd go somewhere else.

Really unprofessional. Had a flood causing damage in to the building. Sent one person out and they couldn't fix it. Waited a day for the next person to come. That person flaked. They sent someone else out who didn't have the parts required to fix it.

Completely wasted my time. Think twice before you call here.

I called Roto-Rooter to fix a water backup problem as roots were getting into my plumbing lines. Sean and his coworker (whose name is either Nick or Nate -- I don't quite remember) came on time and were able to fix the problem within an hour. Sean also recommended where a clean out access might be (I'll need to do some digging in a specific spot to see if one exists).

They had a camera which helped them navigate a snake machine through a junction, and their snake machine was easily able to destroy the roots causing the issue. Great experience overall.

Don't use this service unless you get a full confirmation up front of what it will cost, and look up competing prices online. They were here simply unclogging a pipe for half an hour and charged almost $500. This is a total rip off, do not ever use Roto Rooter.
