I called Roto-Rooter to fix a water backup problem as roots were getting into my plumbing lines. Sean and his coworker (whose name is either Nick or Nate -- I don't quite remember) came on time and were able to fix the problem within an hour. Sean also recommended where a clean out access might be (I'll need to do some digging in a specific spot to see if one exists).

They had a camera which helped them navigate a snake machine through a junction, and their snake machine was easily able to destroy the roots causing the issue. Great experience overall.

Don't use this service unless you get a full confirmation up front of what it will cost, and look up competing prices online. They were here simply unclogging a pipe for half an hour and charged almost $500. This is a total rip off, do not ever use Roto Rooter.

I didn't realized the company was that expensive. The technician showed up within the time frame allotted and did an efficient job of unclogging my kitchen drain within 15mins. Charge was $293 and i mentioned the coupon offer which brought it down to $253.

Awful experience. Our shower was backed up so I used the ""Request a quote"" button to, ummm, request a quote. I got several responses and picked Roto-Rooter because they were both the first to respond and had the lowest quote. And they also offered 20% off. Sounds good so far right?

Then the plumber arrived and promptly quoted a price 54% higher than the quote via Yelp. I called customer service -- they patched me to the local service center who claimed they never give online quotes. They also didn't seem to understand what Yelp is.

Which begs the questions, who gave us the original quote, in writing, and from the Roto-Rooter account on Yelp?

I called them for clogging issues going on. They spend 2 hours. But the issues comes up again. Since the warranty provided is for 2-3 months so I can't call them again. But my simple question is do I need to keep calling every time for clogging issues.

Talk about on-demand service! We had our sink clogged up pretty badly and needed service, ASAP. I went to their website, filled out their service request, and got a phone call within 10 minutes. Soon thereafter, they explained their pricing which was pretty fair, and we got a plumber within the hour AFTER we asked for service. The plumber was very professional and got to the point. This is my second time using this service and man, they have knocked it out of the park on both times.
