Couldn't be more pleased. They were fantastic for us. We called one evening, and they were here the next day at the time they said they would be. The technician James was polite, efficient, wearing a mask for safety and got the job done right. I recommend them.

This Roto Rooter franchise in Anchorage, Alaska is beyond bad. To make a long story short, they did a $900 job that was unsatisfactory - took an entire day. Kept saying they would return to fix - that is several months ago. I was told the plumber who did the job was a heroin addict and had been fired. They assured me it would be fixed - at their expense. Phone call after phone call after promise after promise - nothing has been fixed. The latest was a couple of weeks ago. The office manager said the owner's daughter had stolen her (the office manager's) identify and a great deal of money. She (the office manager) moved the office and files to her condo which she said she couldn't afford. How can you move someone's company out of their property into your own property? Also, if her information was stolen, what about all the customer's credit cards and information? I was told someone would fix mess - at Roto-Rooter expense - ASAP. ""Randy"" was supposed to show up - priority - at 9 a.m. the following a.m. When he didn't show by 10 a.m., I called. He ""overslept"". Someone else was supposed to call me - priority - never did. That was a couple of weeks ago. Do not do business with these people. We only used them because of the Roto-Rooter name. The BBB is aggressively pursuing a complaint. They are having trouble finding someone responsible for this franchise. They are not licensed or bonded.

Our recent experience with Roto-Rooter Plumbing of Anchorage was absolutely outstanding. They are friendly, professional and will do what needs to be done in an efficient and effective way.

Called after kitchen sink wouldn't drain. This company was responsive but when the technician showed he snaked the pipe without an auger on the end. So he wasn't getting the clog to break out. After 2 hours he said sorry I can't help and told me to call another company. The tech really didn't care. What a nightmare I was providing the towels and cleaning the floor after him. Don't bother with this company. You will be disappointed.

I don't even know where to begin with this shenanigans. This has by far been the most disorganized company I've seeked services from. I scheduled for one day and I don't think the guy told the plumber to even come to our house. There seems to be a lack of communication with staff. They never showed up, and then the next day they set a time frame and an hr and a half after that time frame they still didn't show up. No phone call to tell me they are late, nothing. I ended up calling them to cancel and that's when the guy said that the plumber is coming from Anchorage. Well so was I! My thoughts were well don't tell me you'll be here in 30 minutes and have me wait an hr and half later. I honestly doubt he was even going to show up They didn't even seem to care that we cancelled. I ended up giving the business to someone else. My advice, call someone else! You are wasting your time of you think these people will show up.

fixed valve under sink on thursday.two hours late on service call. did not turn water back on to dishwasher.holiday weekend. no dishwasher.refusing to return my calls.do not recommend them Ever!

On day 2 of waiting for them to come service our house. No phone call to even tell us they are running late. Horrible customer service. if emergency.. Don't count on them.

My client has called has tried calling Roto-Rooter on 2 different occasions to snake his toilet and every time we call (just happens to be a Friday both times - and he calls at 9am when they open) and they said they only have 1 tech and they can do it Monday or pay $281.25 for after hours snake service. My client calls me to tell me what they said. Knowing he cannot be without a toilet all weekend and cannot afford after hours (let alone the regular price) so I call Roto-Rooter back and explain that my client is in an electric wheelchair, homebound and it is his only bathroom and could please get him in asap. She said, ""Oop, we just had a cancellation."" So he did get a visit later that day, and/but paid $179. SO Fast forward a few months to today... my client called - they said the same thing as last time, ""They only have 1 tech and they can do it Monday or pay $281.25 for after hours snake service."" My client calls me again to tell me they can't do it until Monday. So I call them again to explain the situation to see if there is anyway they can get him in today. No luck this time. She said he could pay for after hours or wait until Monday. I told her that he called at 9am and that Roto-Rooter advertises same day service. She said that we could get it but we would have to pay after hours prices. I asked who else in town performs the service since I am not exactly the handyman type person - Now feeling desperate to help my client, I asked to speak to the Manager. She said she is the manager. I asked for her name. She said Tasha Odom. I asked if she was the owner and she said yes. I asked if she was the sole owner and she said no. I asked who the other owner was, and she said that I had to ask in writing. And then hung up. I don't know who else in town will snake toilets but really disappointed in the ownership at this franchise and feel like their customer service is MUD to the Roto-Rooter name.
